I am thrilled with my new backyard and outdoor kitchen. Ricki from La Maison Designs was extremely helpful and brought my dream to a reality, creating a backyard space that is both functional and beautiful. She is creative and knowledgeable on all design aspects including interior and exterior. My project came in on time and under budget! She is wonderful to work with, I would highly recommend her.

more than ten years ago, a young woman entered our home and suggested simple linen roman blinds for our family room. we were impressed with her knowledge and suggestions and the hundreds of fabric samples which accompanied her. ten years later, ricki stevens has proved herself to be a phenomenal designer, never leaning in any direction but listening and suggesting, using her quiet persuasive personality to add style and grace to our home. it’s an absolute honor to recommend ricki. she is the real deal, unpretentious, incredibly organized with a plethora of ideas and vendors at her fingertips, meeting timelines with professionalism and ease. she'll enrich your home and your garden with just the right design, embracing you each time you walk by and enter. your design dilemnas will melt away as ricki and her design team “make pretty”. ricki designs spaces that are beautiful, functional and can be lived in and enjoyed.

Ricki is the best! Not only did she help us with our landscape design and install, she was able to help us with our interior too! She's a "jack-of-all-trades!" I've used her on two different houses and always get top notch results. You can't go wrong when Ricki's involved!

Ricki is a joy to work with and has helped with the remodeling of our kitchen, window coverings for our old craftsman house, furniture, paint colors and many other important decisions. She has helped me with me stick with my more traditional choices when floundering among those books of paint and cloth samples. She ALWAYS responds promptly, provides me with guidance to make the right choices for our stately old home. Would recommend her (and I have) to anyone.

I used La Maison Designs for a bathroom remodel and outside landscaping. Ricki was amazing to work with on both projects. She is a designer who is extremely efficient and realizes that everyone’s time is valuable. All of her subs were fantastic to work with. What can I say other than Ricki came to our tiny home , had great ideas, truly easy to work with, and so honest. She helped us not only with new window treatments that we are Thrilled with, but also with a whole new Home office design from flooring to furniture to layout to paint colors and shelf staging . And she found unique ideas to help us maintain a clutter free space! Can’t wait for the next room she is designing for us! Woop woop!

Ricky came to the rescue after a house fire destroyed most of my home. I thought I would be able to do it all myself... until I got completely flustered and overwhelmed! She helped me get the project back on track and guided me to pick everything from flooring and granite, to furniture, finishing touches and art. She even helped me pick the plants for the new landscaping! I would give Ricky 6 stars if I could! She was patient, professional, knowledgeable, conscientious... The whole experience was a 5-star experience for sure! The sixth star goes for her professionalism: one of the fabrics she recommended didn't live up to the expectations. She recognized her mistake, took full responsibility and paid for all the new fabric herself! My next door neighbors loved her work so much that they have since remodeled their whole home with her and we all recommend her highly!

We have had Ricki help us with several projects. My husband and I have different tastes, somehow she always manages to find things we both love. She really listens and works with what you love. She is worth way more than we have paid her for her services and not having to keep redoing things that don't work!
