Fernwood Designs is the work of craftsman Richard Grenier. He specializes in custom made furniture and carpentry. Everything from tables to built-ins. Together with his wife, they create concept designs & drawings to the finished product. Every item they make is done individually with special attention to communication with their customers. Richard specializes in exotic lumbers, reclaimed timbers, and artistic applications. His work ranges from classic Arts & Crafts styles to Modern Rustic. His shop is located in the high mountains of western North Carolina. It's a full service carpentry shop nestled among the trees in a valley in Mars Hill. Residential and commercial jobs accepted.
