We have a 3rd floor balcony that now has a retractable screen from this fantastic company allowing additional air into our condo. The estimator and installer was superb! Her expertise and knowledge about this product was necessary as it turned out that the door frame was not the same dimension on top and bottom. She was able to identify this during the estimate measuring so that she could modify the frame during installation so that it is not noticeable. Renata was so professional, detailed, and patient as she installed the retractable screen. All the people I have had interactions with during this process have been so helpful and responsive! And, it is a bonus that this is a female-owned company. I would not hesitate to recommend this firm!

I’m a practicing home inspector and have renovated many homes. We see a competitor’s retractable screen in the field from time to time and they’ve been average at best in terms of function and quality. I researched Mirage/Retractable Screens LLC and contacted them and was quickly replied to by Pam. We set up a measuring day and Renata was my contact point and stayed in touch with me regarding arrival time from her previous installation. Once measured the install was a week after—impressive—and Renata’s work was flawless. She explained exactly why she needed to extend a sill component (which made sense) and thoroughly explained its operation, care, and potential issue ie wind, magnets not fully meeting, etc. I’m adding them to our referral network as we are in over 1000 properties each year. I needed some screens for my double doors but my HOA has a lot of restrictions on the type of screens that could be used so I wasn’t optimistic about them allowing me to add anything to the doors. I contacted this company to see if they could work with my HOA to get retractable screens approved. They were great from start to finish, very honest people. They handled all the details so the screens would be approved. The installer was very friendly and knowledgeable and installed the screens with great detail to attention. The screens work and look great, very smooth and quiet. Since then several of my neighbors have purchased screens for their doors as well and my HOA has approved Mirage screens and Retractable Screens LLC as vendor. Very professional and knowledgeable company and a great looking quality product. I have referred them to all my friends. Highly recommend without any hesitation whatsoever!

I had retractable screens installed on my patio doors and couldn't be happier with the result. The screen doors blend in perfectly with my door frames and best of all disappear when I don't need them. Everyone I dealt with from this company was great. The scheduling and installation process was very quick and easy. The installation was perfect and the screens work beautifully. Would definitely recommend them to anyone without hesitation

Our home in California has Mirage screens and we love them so much that when we bought a home in Chicago we wanted to add them to our new residence as well. We found Retractable Screens in Chicago and contacted them to set up an appointment for someone to come to look at our doors and give us a quote. Renata came out and measured our doors and windows and showed us all the options available and answered our questions and gave us a quote. We ordered our screens right away and had them installed very soon afterwards. The screens match our door and window frames perfectly. They work better than the ones we have in California. Overall we are very happy with our screens and highly recommend this company and the quality screens they sell to anyone looking to add retractable screens to their doors.

I've used this company several times, at 2 different residences, and I can't recommend them highly enough! I needed an alternative to Pella's replacement rollscreen, which was terrible quality! Not only did Retractable Screens provide me with a better product, but I found the company to be a pleasure to work with. They are friendly, conscientious, and totally honest!

In June of this year I had some retractable screens installed for my home in Chicago. I had a set of french door screens installed as well as some window screens. I had looked at other products and was impressed with the quality of Mirage screens. I was very pleased with the final result. Retractable Screens, LLC was so responsive and easy to work with. They provided me with detailed information on how to take care of my screens and their installer was very thorough and left my home spotless. I was able to enjoy my screens for the whole summer without any problems. I wish this company worked in the area of my vacation home. I would definitely purchase screens for that home as well.

I am very pleased with the service provided by Retractable Screens. Renata assisted me in selecting a solar mesh screen for my motorized Mirage screen. My house faces West and has a lot of sun exposure in the afternoon. I also have retractable door screens on all of my exterior doors. I have been very satisfied with the service I have received.

Renata installed my retractable screen door in January 2013 and I must say I am EXTREMELY happy with my purchase! She was very helpful advising on the casing and did an amazing job installing the unit. As I have said on numerous occasions, it looks like this system was made for this building. I can't imagine why the builder didn't include this system in each unit!! I just couldn't imagine a balcony without a screen door. More than 1 year later, I am still very happy that I invested in the retractable door system and have NOT had any problems! Renata, Great job!
