Robert is an excellent craftsman with an exceptional level of professionalism. We engaged him to build our custom kitchen, bathroom and laundry room cabinetry. He also made our built-in book cases and mudroom seating/storage. All were completed to high quality standards, on time and on budget. Robert was very helpful in suggesting design improvement options as well as collaborative and communicative throughout the entire design, build and installation process. We would hire him again without reservation!

I am a picky client and I would give Robert Price 10 stars if that were allowed! My husband and I are renovating a home built in 1907, where we have lived for 35 years. We selected Robert to build a full-room library for us. This project involved designing floor to ceiling bookshelves and multiple window-seats on four walls of a room. The room presented design challenges by having 3 windows, a large opening to another room and a door to a hall. I had stored up 35 years of ideas of the ‘perfect’ bookshelves that I wanted and this required that Robert listen to all these ideas and then come up with a design that combined my fantasies with the realities of slanty walls and floors of an old house and the need to have a design that could accommodate an old baseboard heating system. The library turned out even better than my fantasy! First, Robert’s design expertise and craftmanship are second to none. But, equally important, he was incredibly patient in listening to my ideas and dreams for this room. He took my multiple ideas and created a more coherent, beautiful design, allowed me to give feedback on several iterations, and came up with creative ideas to resolve design difficulties that the old house provided. He carefully worked through every detail and resolved each with artistry. His communication was clear and prompt at every stage. Ten stars for R.E. Price Cabinetry! Very skilled professional. He quickly grasps what is wanted/needed and makes good suggestions for improving on the customer's original idea. He uses software that allows you to visualize the final result (surround custom bookcases with hanging folder cabinets in my case). He builds in his own studio on the basis of the measurements he takes. Even if he has to schedule your project far out (6 months), he has a good sense of timing, so that the projected completion date is quite accurate. Highly recommended

Robert runs an excellent, highly organized process from start to finish. All details were discussed in advance, leading up to a CAD drawing (computer rendering) of the project. From their, Robert completed the project on time, exactly as scheduled, building the furniture offsite at his shop. Installation took one day working at my house and went smoothly. We are thrilled with the built-in shelving and corner desk that Robert created. Did an amazing job bringing the vision to life, and then some! Very happy to recommend Robert for high-end custom furniture design and build.

I hired Robert to build a custom bench seating and daybed unit. The final results are amazing and better than I was imagining. Robert had great suggestions that improved on my original sketch and he worked those ideas up in to a final, digital mock-up that he shared well before the build began. His prices are very competitive and his estimate was true. The level of detail and the final level of polish is like artwork. I wouldn't hesitate to hire him again for any carpentry projects in the future!

We hired Robert to build built-ins for our dining room. We had a basic design in mind and Robert made several suggestions to make it look more like built-ins and less like a set of kitchen cabinets. His ideas made the final product much better than what we had envisioned. Robert communicated with us throughout the process so we always knew what was going on and when to expect the next step. We had gotten estimates from kitchen stores for semi-custom cabinets. They didn't have the flexibility we wanted so we would have had to make sacrifices like not having glass paneled doors and choosing from a limited set of colors. Robert was able to build 100% custom cabinets for us for the same price range as semi-custom cabinets from a kitchen store. We're very happy with his work.

Robert built a custom media storage center for us and every step of the project went smoothly. The finished result is outstanding! Working with an initial design I had, we discussed my ideas on the phone a couple of times before a first visit to see the work area and go over options and possibilities. Once we chose Robert to do the project, a couple of design changes were desired on our end as a result of other aspects of our room re-configuration. Robert worked with us to alter the design at this later stage, even though it ended up slightly reducing the size of the project. The timeline initially quoted for the project start & project duration were both accurate. We appreciate Robert's professionalism and understanding through out the entire process. This cabinet was very specific in terms of the storage necessities and arrangement to maximized use of space, and everything was spot on. I can say we are totally happy with the final look & performance aspects of the finished product. We highly recommend Robert for any type of cabinetry you may be considering.

We asked Robert to build a couple of different units for us because we wanted something that would be high quality and truly custom-built. We couldn’t be happier with his work. He was so detail-oriented, and the final product looks as if it always should have been there. His craftsmanship definitely added value to our home, and we’ll be asking him back for future projects.

He built our cabinets and a pantry cabinet wall. His cabinets are beautiful, sleek, and very sturdy. The drawers are all dovetail construction, and he was able to match all of the colors we wanted. Our home is over 100 years old but he was still able to blend the new peninsula with the existing cabinetry. Quality and workmanship is wonderful! Robert built me a custom cabinet for my double ovens. True story: 25 years ago I installed new cabinets in my kitchen. The line of cabinets did not have the double oven model. Multiple times over the years I had cabinet makers lined up to build this. It just never materialized. I had the ovens on cinder blocks cleverly disguised. Finally I found Robert and have this gorgeous cabinet now in my kitchen. He was able to perfectly replicate the cabinets I have. Additionally he was able to perfectly match the stain !! My cabinets are red oak, aged 25 years and you would never know the cabinet Robert build for me was not in the original installation. Robert gave me a price estimate and a timeframe for completion. Robert built a beautiful custom TV center for our living room and we are so happy we chose to work with him. He was very detailed and listened to all of our design requests. Our living room has a few design quirks to it that we wanted to disguise with the cabinet and it dooes the job perfectly! Highly recommend!

Just a quick note, Robert did a tremendous job on our cabinets. His workmanship is above the rest. I only sent him our plans and without him coming out and measuring, the cabinets were exactly to the plans. We recommend Roberts workmanship to anyone who wants quality cabinets. Robert built a bathroom vanity, upper and lower kitchen cabinets, and our kitchen island exactly as we'd pictured them. Every piece looks fabulous, and the quality of his work is excellent--way better than commercial cabinets at comparable prices. These are pieces that will stand up to heavy use for a long, long time. And the compliments from friends and family keep coming! We really appreciated that Robert worked on a schedule that was good for us. He communicated well, keeping us up to date on scheduling and pricing, and starting and finishing when he said he would. (He's also a nice person who is fun to work with.) I recommend Robert for kitchens, built-in bookcases, bathroom vanities, furniture--anything made out of wood--without hesitation.

Robert was fantastic to work with and built us a great set of cabinets for our finished basement. The Company is extremely easy to work with and all cabinets are built off-site, only needing a single day for installation on site. Robert was very helpful in helping us with selection and design to make sure we had the right considerations as we thought through the project. We were so happy with Robert Price’s work that we hired him to complete three projects for us. He first worked on a free standing storage unit with herring bone patterned doors, followed by a barn door project, and then a built in unit with free floating shelves. I hired Robert to build a home office in a basement nook. He listened to what I wanted and came up with a perfect design, combining asthetics with practicality. He was easy to work with. He kept to his schedule. Even though my house is older and nothing is level nor square, the finished project gives no hint to any special challenges. We have hired Robert for not one, but two projects, which I think says everything. He came first to renovate our walk-in closet, which was basically just a small empty room before he came in and creatively added tons of storage space for both hanging clothes, linens, shoe storage, and drawers for loose ends. He added a bench with storage over a heating duct, which was so creative and genius. Now we have a place to sit to put on our shoes! He matched the paint to existing woodwork and added beaded details so it looks like it has been there since the house was built. Secondly and most recently, we hired him to renovate our laundry room, which again was just an empty room with a washer/dryer and sink. We now have tons of storage space, a folding table, cabinets, and a broom closet. The room is gorgeous and again, it blends in perfectly with the rest of the house. We can now attempt to stay more organized! Of course, if he could have added an automatic clothes folder/laundry robot, we'd be all set. :) I fully recommend Robert's beautiful work and creative problem-solving. He is so easy to work with, and is very responsive in communication. 5+ stars

Robert built custom cabinetry for my home office. Robert responded promptly to my inquiries and came to the house to discuss the design and take measurements. I had a general idea of what I wanted, but Robert made several great recommendations to make it a truly functional and sleek looking design. He was very transparent about his timeline for starting the project and adhered to it exactly. The estimates that he provided were also reasonable and accurate. He built most of the cabinets in his workshop and then installed everything in 3 days. It was the smoothest home project I've had in years! Everything was exactly as I expected. Robert was amazing, professional, personable and meticulous in his work. I am still setting up the office so don't have good picture to post yet. But I'll add them in a few weeks. I would definitely hire Robert again and highly recommend him.

Robert Price did a wonderful job building a library in my attic. I love the finished product! He was very responsive from the beginning, and always responded promptly to emails. He listened to my ideas for the space and took them into consideration before sending me design plans which were much better than what I could have come up with. His quote was right on the money and the final cost was only slightly higher than the quote. I really appreciated the accuracy of his quote, his clear communication, and the quality of the work. It looks great! I definitely recommend him for cabinetry and any sort of custom built-ins you might need.

Robert's work on our house was excellent, exactly what we were looking for. With a galley kitchen footprint to work with and some specific design ideas, the Shaker-inspired cabinetry he built for the kitchen fits the space perfectly and looks beautiful. After inquiring at the two big home improvement chains in town, as well as several local kitchen renovation businesses, we contacted Robert to see if he might be able to help us create the kitchen cabinets we wanted on a specific budget. He was able to create the perfect cabinets for us--much better than anything factory made-- and did so within our budget, and in a timely manner. Throughout the initial conversations, the design phase, and the installation, Robert was an excellent communicator. He taught us about the materials and design elements we were considering and contributed creative ideas and solutions when we were not sure how to address certain spaces. He handled our design adjustments with grace. The cabinets and butcher block peninsula he designed, built, and installed for us are just beautiful, and we are already in conversation with him about building a new pantry in the same style.

I recently ordered 2 custom sized cherry end tables and a custom coffee table (to accomodate a glass top) from R.E Price Cabinetry. I was very impressed by Robert's concern to get all the details right while constructing the furniture and the expert craftmanship of the finalized product . My husband and I recently moved into a 3-room loft, and were is desperate need of a more efficient use of space. We found R. E. Price Cabinetry online, liked what we saw, and sent off an inquiry. Robert Price was immediately responsive and continued to be a great communicator throughout the process. He helped design 3 closets, a built-in chest of drawers, and extra storage space for us. He came up with a brilliant solution for the entry way, so that kept it from feeling cramped. He schooled us on types of wood and benefits of various approaches to construction. And then produced pieces that exceeded expectation. All of this on a very tight timeline. We are thrilled with the results, and hope to hire him again for a couple pieces of furniture.

We needed a unique cabinet/closet/wall divider for a renovated mill loft space. After finding Robert's work online, we contacted him for a consultation. He was able to meet with us and discuss our basic design ideas. Immediately, he saw the opportunity to solve a problem regarding egress space by proposing a concave curve in the corner of the unit that allowed for greater mobility and created a wonderful design element that greats visitors as they walk through the door. The craftsmanship of the work itself was excellent, and Robert completed the job on time and on budget, despite encountering a few unexpected issues in dismantling the previously installed unit. I hired Robert to replicate an interior door with a couple requested changes, and it turned out great! My house was built in 1928 with very nice multiple level molding single panel doors. I have two cats and wanted to relocate the litter box to the basement, and so I needed to install a pet door, but I knew I would butcher the door if I did it myself. I also wanted the door to be longer as we are taking out the thick carpet and refinishing the hardwood floors, and the bottom gap from the current door would be too large. I called several places for quotes on the project, 4 responded. Two were insanely expensive, at $2k and $4k for the project. Robert's price at $530 was right inline with the 4th quote, but he was more responsive and I liked his website showcasing past work. Robert was easy to work with and quickly understood what I was looking for. He was flexible with evening pickup and delivery times, allowing me to not miss work. When he delivered the door, he quickly made the modifications needed to have the new door fit fit in the old, non-square frame. I'd highly recommend him and have attached some pictures for comparison (old door is painted).
