Hi, this is my second purchase of two BackApp chairs, the first time was a few years ago, they still sit in my office but as times are quite different now, myself and my partners tend to work from home. We have a fairly open plan style of living so no real office area and were working from our dining table using the dining chairs, that lasted not a long time as we both within weeks, started to feel slight aches around our lower back area. We are both very fit and this feeling was not a welcome sensation. Problem now solved by the receipt of two new wonderful BackApp ergo chairs, one of which i sit on now! Mike (Dilke) dealt with the order for me and i could not have asked for a more professional and friendly service. Mike was brilliant and ditto the chairs. Thanks Mike!

We trialed 2 of the Back App Hipp chairs for 2 weeks (padded and plastic version) swopping them in between family members so, that everyone could sit on the different models for several days. We noticed that, at times, when returning to our desks, a chair had gone and was then refound in one of our teenager's rooms. We ended up buying two of the plastic Back App Hipp chairs and we are extremely happy with our purchase. I can see the difference in posture when people sit at their desks and it has become quite impossible to 'borrow' one of the chairs as no one wants to give theirs up. Mike was extremely helpful and we can recommend both the chairs and Mike's expertise.

I write this review as a customer who has tried the product for a period of a few weeks at work and as a Physiotherapist specialising in seating and postural management. I tried a couple of the stools. The first one was not quite right and Mike worked with me to find a stool that better suited me. I ordered the Back App stool which is comfortable. The black Nordic wool is a nice soft material, the design of the stool is unusual but it a way that invites comments from others who then want to try it. The dynamic ball under the stool brings it to life, going from a static seat to one that moves in a way that allows me to fidget whilst I am sitting at my desk. It helps to keep me from developing lower back pain and the saddle seat puts less pressure on the bony bits where I sit as the thighs take up more of the load. The dynamic ball works well on a carpet or hard floor. I found that I didn't need to order the wheel base as I just sit at my desk and swivel the stool so that I can move out from under the desk by spinning round and walking off/sitting down (instead of pushing the seat away from/back under the desk. The wheels add height to the seat which may not work well if your table height cannot adjust to compensate. I'm 5'2" and sit comfortably on the seat but others who are shorter might need a foot support to compensate for lower leg length. Taller people would likely find it really comfortable at a variety of heights. Ordering and delivering the product was straight forward and the seat was easy to assemble. I'd recommend the Back App for anyone wanting to improve their comfort sitting at a desk, to engage their core in a more dynamic way to reduce the problems that can develop from sitting still at a desk for long periods of time.

I took delivery of a BackApp chair back in 2015 when I was suffering from lower back pain. Mike Dilke from Relaxback UK let me try a chair in the office for a month to see if it helped with my condition. It immediately had a positive effect and I bought the chair. Five years on, my core is much stronger and lower back has been pain free. Most recently, five years on the seat of my chair needed replacing which Mike organised very quickly as part of my original warranty agreement. I can't recommend the BackApp chair, Mike and Relaxback UK highly enough.

Mike offered me a very personal service, which I appreciate. He brought the BackApp chair to me in London at my flat for a free trial. I did not even have to pay a deposit, it was absolutely based on trust, which is really nice. He also brought me a few options of balance boards to try out. When I finally made my purchase, he did not hesitate to come back to London to bring it for me. Very flexible on meeting dates and points. I really recommend his service and products.

Mike Dilke was kind enough to bring his Backapp products to our house for demonstration and for us to try out before buying. We were interested in the 360 Balance Board and the Backapp chair. They are definitely excellent products. Mike is a great salesperson and was very knowledgeable, polite and accommodating. I would recommend his services and products without hesitation. The reason that we did not purchase anything was due to my 11 year old son not being willing to use the products (he was the one who I wanted them for!).

Mike is helpful and friendly - a knowledgeable advocate for back health. Great idea to provide a trial period to test the stool - and Mike offers to set it up for you.
