Read Design Window Fashions - Plano

We had a brand new home. Working with Read Design was a great experience. I ran a +18VDC distributive power grid to my windows to power the Pirouette blinds - Read Design did the rest. I had 1 blind motor go out and had swift warranty service to replace it. They have been more than helpful on getting what we had envisioned for our new home. Now all 22 windows are remote controlled and automated. We would not use anyone else and are extremely happy with their prices, attention to details and warranty with after sales care.

Read Design is truly one of the best design services available. They are very thorough, detail oriented, and friendly. Their customer service is over the top. We always felt like a valued client and they are very personal. And their quick turn around time was icing on the cake! We will definitely use them again.

I found this family owned business via the internet and was completely satisfied with their professionalism. I purchased some power blinds for a couple of rooms. They looked and worked so great that I actually went back and purchased some more for other rooms. They were on time for both installations and installed quickly. I highly recommend them. I had a couple of specific questions and concerns which they were able to address. There were plenty of samples to look at in the showroom and we were given price estimates quickly. Tom was very patient with us and courteous, respectful of our time . Easy to talk with and accurate with estimate and time. Always explained the details and gave us plenty of options to choose from. I recently purchased window blinds from Gallery One Windows in Southlake. It was a great experience. I worked with Jeff he was very knowledgeable and made sure everything was perfect.

Had decided on Hunter Douglas aluminium blinds, and wanted to see the material and colors live. Gallery One Window Fashions were close, so went there and did get to see what I had looked up online on the Hunter Douglas site. Tom did answer all questions, and confirmed the concern that another product I had been thinking of wouldn't really work because of having a cat that could easily damage fabric blinds. So decision was made to get estimate. Estimate was in the range I expected, and having the sample book for a while to find the right color, helped; in particular not being pressured. I was looking for honest service and I did get honest, courteous consulting and professional service and installation. And the blinds look great!

Julie was so helpful with my design project. She was knowledgeable on the design trends and worked hard to find the perfect look for me. I love my draperies and my Hunter Douglas window Duettes. Julie also reupholstered both of my couches as well as found a jute rug to tie the room together. I would use Read Design Associates again and will recommend them to all of my friends!
