I commissioned RailingLondon to design fabricate and install a very elaborate and striking staircase in a building I have been converting into 6 luxury flats in Wandsworth. My brief was for timber treads, fully glazed landings, fully glazed balustrades and stainless steel handrails. Although an experienced Architect myself I was happy for RailingLondon to undertake full responsibility for the design of the staircase because of the quality of other staircases this company has designed. The project was completed on time and on budget and has been a great success.

A floating glass staircase which is like walking on air and four metal bookshelves which are almost Mondrianesque. Jobs well done.

I am a Developer based in Central London, who has worked with Railinglondon on a number of high value and complex projects, as well as more straightforward property refurbishments. They have performed on all of the projects to a exceptionally high level, providing a diligent service, a very high level workmanship, whilst always being personable and approachable, both Andre and his employed workforce. i found them very reliable and always had great feedback from client for work they done I would not hesitate in recommending them.

I work as a project manager for a construction company that covers London area. We came across Railing London after one of 'well known' steel fabricators that we appointed to manufacture and install floating stairs could not cope with the work (Devonshire Close project). Their mistakes cost us £9k and after two of their attempts to make the staircase as it was designed we had to let them go and look for another company to sort it out. After hearing about our problems, one of my old clients recommended Railing London. Quick call and Andrew and his team was invited to do the site survey and to give us a quote. This first visit spoke for itself. Railing London verdict: the old floating stairs are so structurally bad, they have to go. As the project completion date could be compromised, I've asked them to act quickly. Railing London provided the quote in a couple of days and ones deposit was paid new metal structure was on site within a week. This was in August 2014. Since then our co-operation with Railing London flourished. 39&41 Devonshire Close project - Floating steps with timber steps and glass banisters came up as designed. For the same property we have ordered new zig-zag metal staircase, glass banister for the loft landing area and metal escape ladder for the back garden. 45 Redston Road project - roof terrace with beautiful view across Alexandra Park, Railing London designed and installed metal banister for the roof deck. 45 Maresfield Gardens project- floating staircase with timber cladding spanning through three floors designed and installed again by Railing London and also a garden deck and balcony glass banisters made by them. 38 Netherhall Gardens project - floating staircase with timber cladding designed and installed by Railing London. To summarize: All above projects were always start/finished on time and done in a professional manner. Railing London site teams (installers) are always well equipped with tools and spare parts so there are no sad delays (no excuses that something is missing or can't be done today - this actually happened a lot with our first subcontractor!). The site survey, design and quoting processes are done in a realistic timing. Big thanks for that to Andrew, Robert, and Waldek. Estimates come in an online form which allows me to trace the order, work progress and the outstanding/paid monies. Big hugs for that to Jelena. With amount of work we threw at Railing London in the last 5 months I had a pleasure to meet design and office staff and probably most of the site teams. If everyone does the job they do my life would be a lot easier. I am looking forward to start our new project in April 2015 and I hope there will be something in it for Railing London. I worked with Wardek initially and then with Andrew , the guys were very responsive to any question that we had throughout the project and made many changes to the design with good grace , therefore we ended up getting exactly what we wanted to an amazing finish , it's been a very good experience to work with railing london and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them . I was looking for a major refresh for my staircase and edge to mezzanine level, replacing metal railings and balustrades with large sheets of thick glass. I tried to get quotes from local companies who told me it was a very complicated job and that they could only try doing a watered down version of what I wanted but that it would be very expensive and that the end result may be much higher than the quote. Then I came across Railing London. I got an online proposal/quote which was exactly what I wanted and for a much more reasonable price. I reluctantly paid for a visit to get a formal quote but I'm pleased that I did as although when they saw it in person they found a number of complications, they stuck to the price of the original quote and assured me that everything I wanted was possible. Within a couple of days of paying my deposit I had a team on site taking three days doing preparation work and making templates for the glass. They said it would take two weeks to get the glass made. It ended up being just over three and then took a further three days to remove the old kit and install the glass. The workmanship of the installers was outstanding and the initiative that they took to overcome and complications were very impressive indeed. They really were perfectionists and clearly experts in their field. I would strongly recommend this company for any high quality staircase work.

A first class service and product from London Railing. We had installed a cantilevered staircase with floating wooden treads and glass balustrade including hidden LED lighting. It was a complicated project but everything from design to install was handled faultlessly by the team at London Railing. Great attention to detail as we were very fussy about how we wanted it to look and it surpassed our expectations.This staircase is now the wow factor as its the first thing you see when you come through the our front door.

Excellent from start to finish. Thoroughly professional throughout and the finished product was amazing. We had a floating staircase and a glass mezzanine walkway. We would definitely recommend this company.

Railing London just completed the installation of a balustrade on our newly built terrace. Everything went perfectly well until.... I realized the balustrade was higher than requested and hence is not fully satisfactory from a visual effect standpoint. They claimed they commit (small prints, as usual) to build to comply with regulation - which is the case, as regulation sets a minimum height only. Complying with regulation is indeed critical, but I would have hoped they also could comply with client requests (which was to stick to the minimum required by regulation). They also eventually fitted less posts than mentioned in the quote... and had forgotten to amend the quote/invoice When I asked at least for a gesture, they generously offered a... 1% rebate... Overall surely can do a good job but I have clearly been disappointed by the level of professionalism and client consideration
