QFC built an addition on our house that comprised a new kitchen and entrance foyer and large front porch. Our existing kitchen was in the front of the house and building the new kitchen required essentially taking the front of the house off and significant and somewhat complicated framing. The timeline for the project was 4 to 5 months and the project was completed in 5 months, in spite of losing some time due to Covid and an ice storm. The quality of the workmanship was excellent. Over 70 workers touched the project at some point or other and we were comfortable having them in our home (we lived there throughout the project). Brett Sipe the QFC president, has an excellent team of employees and sub-contractors. Brett was very pleasant to work with. I know he was very busy with multiple projects but he never seemed in a rush when he met with us and patiently listened to our thoughts/concerns. Brett also followed through on everything that he said he would do, other than needing a reminder once or twice on a small item. The project did come in over budget, partially due to a number of changes that we made during the project and likely also due to cost increases related to supply chain issues. A project such as ours could be very stressful and frustrating but Brett and his team actually made it an enjoyable experience. We would hire them again without hesitation.

After spending quarantine at home, we decided to fast-track the remaining reno work on the first floor of our home. We completely renovated the laundry room and office bath, painted the kitchen cabinets and updated the hardware, installed hardwood floors in the remaining portion of the living room that didn't already have them, and created custom cabinetry to house a bar and to display artwork. Brett and his team were wonderful to work with. They were considerate of our needs while we remained in our home, especially as my husband works from home. The completed work is absolutely beautiful, exceeded our expectations, and our high standards. We will 100% reach out to Brett and his team when we move forward with the reno of the downstairs.

We love Brett and his wonderful crew. They were honest, upfront and took care of us as issues arose (as they will with any major renovation). They were very responsive to our needs and we felt they worked with us as a team throughout the entire process. Our remodel turned out much better than we ever expected and we feel fortunate to have found them.

Working with Brett and his team exceeded our expectations. We completed a major renovation in multiple parts of our home over the course of 6 months. What impressed us the most about Brett and his team was their attention to detail, the responsiveness and prompt communication and the professionalism and integrity of the subcontractor teams that he used. We felt like we were in good hands the entire renovation process and any questions or concerns that we had were immediately addressed. What has impressed us above and beyond the experience of renovating our home has been the responsiveness after the project was completed. It has been over a year since our project was completed and Brett and his team respond quickly to a call or text if we have any questions or issues that have popped up - as things always do with major renovations! I have recommended Brett to friends and family already, and will continue to sing their praises. You won’t find a better contractor here in Winston-Salem.

QFC is amazing...I cannot say enough good things about their team! From start to finish, they exceeded my expectations (which were already high). Their organizational skills, responsiveness, and attention to detail are off the charts. A number of things set QFC apart, but a significant standout is how they helped us after the job was finished (there are always small punch-list items after a remodel)... QFC stopped by to check on things, quickly responded to our minor punch-list items, and even helped take away our moving boxes. I routinely recommend QFC to friends and family...they are hands-down the best in the business!

Brett Sipe is one of the most capable, professional people I have ever worked with. He is unfailingly transparent and honest. The subcontractors he recommends and utilizes are outstanding. Even when the unexpected arises, as it reliably does in the context of renovating an older home, Brett, Buck, and the entire QFC team take care of the problem and their customers with efficiency and caring. I give them the strongest possible recommendation.

QFC did a wonderful job on a series of projects at our home. Brett and his team are professional and thorough, with an exceptional eye for detail. On top of it, they're all especially nice people and were easy to work with. All of the sub-contractors brought to our home were top-notch. We are so happy with the design and function of our new space!

Brett and his team are so professional, organized, and accommodating. He listened to what we wanted and how we wanted it done and also really got to know us so that he could deliver exactly what we wanted. The app he uses helps keep everyone on the job organized and on the same page which we really appreciated. We knew exactly what he would need from us and our designer and when he would need it. When changes arose Brett and his team handled them seamlessly. Brett's quote was really accurate and while we had to wait to start our project, once we did, he had every trade lined up and ready to go so there was no waiting around or starting and stopping. Remodeling is hard but Brett makes it as easy as it can be and he's really enjoyable to work with.

QFC did an excellent job building our house. Brett is great to work with and their quality of work and craftsmanship is as good as it gets. We are glad to be a reference for them anytime and highly recommend them to anyone.

Brett and company really care about the quality of works done by each and every sub. Their continuous job site clean up is amazing, which we really appreciated since we were living in the house through the renovation. The finished projects are beautiful! They are just really great to work with and I know we will use them again for future renovations.

As an interior designer I have the privilege of working with numerous contractors, and I can say with great experience that QFC is among the very best. From the PM's to the subs, they are attentive, skilled, enjoyable, communicative, and most importantly knowledgeable. A pleasure to work with, and I highly recommend.

QFC is the best construction company we have worked with over the past 15 years. Doing a remodel on an older home often presents more challenges than new construction. QFC was always professional and respectful, and did outstanding work. They quoted the job appropriately and stuck to budget without compromising quality work or quality materials. All subs that entered our home were communicative and professional as well. When challenges occurred, QFC listened to our requests, presented quality design options and blended the changes seamlessly with our design.
