Sterling Works

Philip and his team at Sterling Works did a complete remodel of the house we bought in Decatur, GA. We moved from Florida and bought a 2 bedroom/ 1 bath, which wasn’t going to work, considering we are a family of 4 with two teenagers. I had a vision for the little house that I thought I’d love, if only I could just find someone to turn it into a reality. After looking at numerous contractors, there was no doubt that Sterling Works was the best choice (although I pretty much knew that he was our contractor from our phone conversation before even meeting!). Where my vision had limitations, Philip had ideas. He turned this house into a home, perfectly suited for my little family. I needed a house that I could look out from the kitchen and see my children doing homework at the dining table or watching a movie in the living room. I wanted to be able to look out of any of the living space and be able to see my children playing soccer in the backyard. I wanted a Master Suite that was spacious and inspiring when doing work from my desk. So where walls were in the way or where bricks needed to be removed or windows and French doors needed to be installed, Philip did it to create a home that specifically fit my family. The result is gorgeous! The entire process was great. Philip is a wonderful communicator and he has the hardest working team there is! His crew is one of a kind! I honestly could not be happier with the entire process. And if the breathtaking results weren’t enough, the true character of Sterling Works shone after the project was complete and the final payment had been made. There was something minor that needed their attention and even though they had moved on to other projects, they still made us a priority. They are good people, they do phenomenal work, they are very fair in their pricing and they stay on schedule. Without a doubt, Sterling Works is the best choice for a contractor in the Atlanta area!

Phillip and everyone working with him have been so professional and have done wonderful work. We have had a complete kitchen remodel and a basement reworked (including a mini kitchen) and the results are beautiful. They have worked patiently with our schedule and have made sure we were happy with all of their work. I highly recommend them.

We could not have been more pleased with Philip and his crew. We had two bathrooms re modeled and we cannot rave enough. The quality of work is outstanding. The guys completed the jobs faster than we could ever have imagined. They cleaned up after themselves every day, and were extremely polite. Alex and Joelle are SO good at what they do. They answered every question we had, offered suggestions when appropriate, and we would hire them again in a heartbeat! We refer Sterling Works to as many people as possible!

Working with Sterling Works was a delight and I would highly recommend them. Philip walked me through the whole process and helped me make good decisions every step of the way. He worked with me to achieve what I wanted. The result is a master suite addition for my parents that is gorgeous and functional. It really blows people away. It allows aging in place but but looks like it has always been part of the house. You can't tell the difference between the original wood floors and the new one. The workers were on site when Philip told me they'd be there and they did outstanding work. Philip made the stressful process of going through construction as painless and enjoyable as possible. If you want personal service and attention to detail, use Sterling Works.

We added a second story to our home; this was a 6-month project. After vetting 3 contractors, Philip and Sterling was an easy choice. Philip was always up front and transparent on all "issues" that arose and worked hard to maintain the budget. He is approachable and I trusted his judgement throughout the entire project. I could not be happier with the finished product and his level of professionalism. Lastly, he completed the project on time!

We bought our first home and didn't like the stiple ceilings. Our real estate agent gave us a few names. Phil was the only one who came out to our home and before giving us a quote. He was very professional and took the time to give us suggestions when we asked him about other issues in the house. We were very pleased with the finished product and so glad we smoothed out the ceilings! His guys were also very professional and did a perfect job. All, Phil and his workers, communicated very well. Even for such a small project they were great!

Our experience with Sterling Works in remodeling and updating our bathrooms was thoroughly positive. Philip provided valuable advice and helpful suggestions about the project. He pointed us toward the suppliers we needed to contact and gave clear, careful instructions about what we should get and how we should proceed. He was resourceful in helping us generate ideas about what we wanted and in steering us toward what was feasible. He was also punctual in his meetings with us, as were his employees who did the work. What he said he would do, he did. His employees did great work. They were professional, courteous, and skillful in their work; no, more than skillful, they were artistic craftsmen who took pride in producing aesthetically pleasing work. They came and left on time, treated our house and furnishings with respect, properly disposed of the old materials and fittings, and created minimal intrusion while they were here. We are very pleased with Philip and the folks who work with him at Sterling Works.
