I had the pleasure and privilege to join the Prull team as the Interior designer on a spectacular and complicated new home build. The home merges with the surrounding wilderness and in it's drama remains grounded. The attention to detail is evident in every choice. The construction and organic materials were placed with thought and care. Integrity and detail are of the upmost importance when working with Prull Custom Builders. I 100% recommend them!! As an Interior Designer you know when you have a chance to work a special project with special people and this was it for me.

We hired Prull Custom Builders ( just before the start of the pandemic in early 2020) to build our new home in Santa Fe, NM. Despite all of the challenges of designing & building a home (remotely) during the pandemic, Prull was able to find exceptional workers, subcontractors and sufficient supplies/materials throughout the process such that our home was completed on time and on budget! They are consummate professionals who build beautiful homes that are impeccably finished and structurally sound. We cannot rate them highly enough!! Rich & Patty D.

Four stars because no one is perfect. Our Santa Fe home was completed on time and only about 10% over the original budget largely because of late add ons. Although the architect, the interior designer and Will Prull himself all made valuable contributions, I believe the ultimate success of a Prull project depends in large part upon the dedicated project manager. In our case Phil was an invaluable problem solver, idea man and always available to respond to any request. I would want him for my next home. I highly recommend Prull Custom Builders for anyone desiring a true high end custom tailored home.

We contacted Will Prull in 2015 as part of our due diligence in interviewing custom home builders in Santa Fe. Though we had previously spoken to several other top builders in town, the day after we met with Will, my husband and I looked at each other and both said we had no need to meet with any other builders. We were totally sold on Will. That was one of the best decisions we have ever made. Will worked with us to understand our needs and preferences, and research and decide on lots and architects. He walked us through his very transparent and professional construction planning process, including regular meetings to define and track budget, analyze trade offs, meet with subcontractors, review design and architectural plans, and ensure the project moved along and we ended up with the home of our dreams. His knowledge and professionalism guided us through what is often a very complex and stressful process and kept us focused on, and confident in, the end result. We cannot say enough good things about Will and his team. His integrity, knowledge, solid reputation and the beautiful homes he has built throughout the past decades in Santa Fe are testimony enough. Along the way, we also ended up with wonderful friends in Will and Jodi.

I am an interior designer, who has realized how important lighting is in doing residential design. I work for Dahl Lighting, and I have been doing specifications and pricing for Prull Custom Builders for five years. I have worked on 8 projects with them. They have always been professional, and I have enjoyed working with them. There are good at communicating what they want and letting us know what exactly the time frame is. They have a high standard in their building, so every detail of the building is given the proper attention. The foreman on each job keeps you on your toes the entire time, as one should. If you need more specific details, they will provide you information in a timely manner. Everybody in their office is more than helpful. This is the builder you would like to work with in building a quality home.

My husband and I have built a custom home before and worked with other builders of the homes in which we have lived. When we bought our lot in Las Campanas, we began to interview builders. The reasons we chose the Prulls were clear to us then and even more deeply clear now. The Prulls were responsive and friendly to us when we first met, and took us to see a variety of the properties they had built and we were impressed with both the quality and diversity of their work. In their offices we met professional and cordial people. Their design portfolio was stunning and Will explained his extensive budgeting, tracking and management systems. We were very impressed especially as we had not utilized anything like it when we built before and made a number of mistakes as a result. Our original desire was to build without an independent architect, but Will was candid and frank about his firm's expertise at building but gave compelling reasons why he felt an independent architect provides the best outcome. They assured us they had worked with most architects in town as well as high quality subs and suppliers. Understanding our need to not coordinate with a number of separate entities, the Prulls contacted two reputable architects who were willing to work under Prulls' direction reducing the work we would need to put in managing a lot of different people. Their kind responsiveness to our needs were what put them over the top. We selected Lorn Tryk as our architect. For months we met as an entire team designing, engineering, and costing out the house. Their experienced Superintendent joined the project at the inception of breaking ground. From then until now the Prulls, their teams and architect Tryk were with us every step of the way. To summarize, we found Prull Custom Builders to be; exceptionally credentialed and experienced creative problem solvers honest and direct good managers of people and processes resources for us for design and materials personally interested in us, fun and kind Building a home is an intensely personal process. Prulls know this and showed it by both their competence and their care and concern for us as people. We could not have made a better choice. This is likely the home we will live in for the rest of our lives and the Prulls will be trusted colleagues and friends for that long as well.
