Proscape

Proscape redid a deck in mid-June 2022. Chose them partly based on the good reviews online. Sadly, they have not provided the high-quality work they promised. They never visited the work site during construction to verify the quality of the work being done. Before making my second and final payment I showed them my concerns regarding some cracked boards and other issues. They only agreed to redo some of the cracked and unevenly cut railings on the two visible/exposed sides of the deck (imagine various railings of different length!). As for the other concerns I showed them, they repeatedly reassured me that it was nothing to worry about. Unfortunately, only days after installation, some of the cracks on the boards (deck and stairs) began showing even more pronounced cracks to the point that some boards have literally split in two in their entire length. I contacted them mid-July to explain that I was concerned that some of the boards had now completely cracked in two, in their entire length, from end to end. I sent a detailed e-mail along with pictures taken during the construction and since, spoke to Wendy. She agreed to have Real come by on the following Monday (as they don't work on weekends). But, instead of a visit, I received an e-mail saying that they would not be coming and that based on the pictures they believe that the damages I showed them are normal and therefore they don't need to see the deck in person and will not be making any repairs. I regret trusting this company with my hard earned money. I have had to get third parties involved to help find a resolution. They have ruined what should have been a peaceful summer and provided a product that is unsafe. Please think carefully before you hire them and trust them with your money.

Excellent customer service and attention to details. Only good things to say about this company. The Owner Mr. Réal is very attentive to customer's requests.

Proscape did some work for me recently. This is the second time they have done work for me, mainly the construction of a large deck. As an engineer I recognize quality when I see it and Proscape exceeded all our expectations. The job went smoothly and in a very timely manner even though we only decided certain aspects of the job at the last minute. Real was always very patient and helpful. His wife Wendy was a pleasure to deal with as well. She took the time and effort to ensure that we would be happy with our final decision even though it meant sending us numerous pictures and quotations for everything from Cedar to Fibron to Ipe. Proscape built a new deck with a pergola as well as two gates. The deck flooring was in Fiberon material, with everything else in red cedar. Real Z. and his whole team were very professional, handling the project from A to Z. In discussing the project initially with Real, he was very helpful in describing the pros and cons of the different materials we could use as well as advising me on my drawings for the plans. The project was on time, on budget and perfectly executed. I really appreciated the dedication the team had to make sure everything is done to my liking. I highly recommend Proscape for all your deck and fence needs. They don't come better than that!

We built a large 2 level deck with Proscape last year. One deck goes all the way around our oval above-ground pool. And the other is attached to the house. The one around the pool is pretty complex, but they did a fantastic job. We absolutely love the deck, and it was truly a pleasure working with them. We researched many different contractors before, and they were the ones to offer the best quality for the best price. It's obvious that they have a ton of experience, and a very respectable and qualified team. My favorite part of the experience was that I felt I was not dealing with a typical contractor who only cares about money, but a very honest and decent man who owns the company, and takes pride in the work he does. Even his team was respectable, and I enjoyed having men on our property who weren't rude or using foul language, but we're always friendly and a pleasure to talk to! I'm just mentioning these points, because I've had some pretty bad experiences with different contractors before, who aren't straight forward and end up changing their word, or their prices etc. With Proscape, they kept their word from start to finish. So ya, I would definitely recommend them for any job!
