Holly Burguières of Prop Positions, Inc. did an excellent job of doing a complete makeover of a house we bought with the intention of reselling iafter adding some of its land to our property. She completely staged the house with furniture appropriate for the style of the house. She selected the color to repaint the house with. She found a first-class contractor to convert a closet into mudroom, lay a new floor on one level, install a new entrance door, etc. She knew sources to tap for accessories. And she made sure all this worked together to result in a beautiful house on schedule. One which is now--3 months after Holly fnished the job-- with an accepted offer.

Holly redesigned a small studio apartment with an attached sunroom and a small garden. One of the walls of the apartment was covered with a spectacular, floor to ceiling, wall unit which she and her cabinet maker designed. She ordered all new furniture and decorative pieces, mainly mirrors. She arranged for the old furnishings to be discarded and worked tirelessly to rearrange the apartment in a short period of time. It took months of planning to put the small space together. Holly was willing to entertain a variety of options and layouts until we found the right solutions. It was a pleasure working with someone full of integrity who has a great sense of design, endless patience and who cares deeply for her clients.

Holly's advice on color and furniture is invariably sound and my life is better for living with the things she suggests. She's helped with my house in Millbrook for the over 20 years, and made my tiny Manhattan pied a terre into a place I really loved. She's even got a light touch.

We had two apartments remodeled by Prop Positions and are very happy with the results! Holly listened carefully and was respectful of our preferences. Considering our tastes and ideas Holly would present different decorative options with corresponding budgets. She has a keen eye for details and will make sure the all the elements blend into an exquisite and refined atmosphere. Playing with colors, light and textures is one of Holly's specialties which make a big difference in a room. Holly will also do her best to find the adequate pricing and consulted us before making any buying decision. Not only is Holly a wonderfully creative person who transforms an apartment into a unique, warm and personal space, she is also conscious of the practical side of the living space with it's need for closets, movement, smells or noises that matter in day to day living. I would work without a doubt again with Prop Positions!
