Do you have an exciting project coming up in the near future? We’d love to help. We are an architectural and structural engineering consultancy, founded in 1989, with offices in Central London and Somerset, and satellite offices in Surrey and Devon. Our mission is to work with our clients to maximise the potential in their projects, to deliver the agreed project objectives and contribute to a sustainable built environment. We are excited about the future, and how we will embrace new technologies and materials to fulfil our aim to design low carbon, low energy buildings. Our staff are qualified Architects, Architectural Technologists, structural engineers and energy assessor and we can service most of Southern England. As commercial and residential architects working within multiple sectors we bring a broad range of experience to any project.

This is our first time renovating and David Minns’s experience has guided us seamlessly through the planning application stages and building regulations. Throughout the process David has been professional, approachable and flexible, working with us to find the creative solutions we were looking for. He has been innovative, taking our ideas and constructing the vision of what we wanted to achieve. He has been extremely supportive and helped us calmly through everything involved. It was a leap of faith for our first venture and we are happy that we have no hesitation in recommending them to others.

David and his team at Prime Meridian were fantastic in helping us design a suitable scheme for our development, that provided the optimal design for our end GDV and re-sale requirements. Whilst also dealing with listed building constraints, and with our build costs in mind. They were excellent at considering, advising, and delivering on all aspects of the scheme, not just the design eg; listed and historic building investigation and reports, structural needs, reg's needs, meeting with the local planners and historic buildings officers, managing the planning process, dealing with queries etc. A successful planning decision for our latest development is imminent, and has been relatively painless, largely down to Prime Medians hard work. We highly recommended them.

Excellent combination of stylish design and technical competentency. David was able to visualise layouts for the barn conversions and house refit which maximised space and usability, creating large open plan living area. David also understood the structural constraints to the project trough his structural engineering background. Davids is charming and friendly and a pleasure to work with.

Ian Bynoe

Prime Meridian designed a single story extension to our kitchen at the rear of our Grade 2 listed Georgian town house; applied for and obtained Listing Building Consent; recommended local builders and then supervised the JCT small build contract for the works. Design advice and communication were excellent with regular site inspections and minuted meetings with builders and ourselves. Supervision was highly effective and we are very pleased with the striking modern design complementing the age and character of the house.
