Precision Pools and Spas

I don't usually give poor reviews, but this company earned it. We called for months about the chipped decking, sent pictures, followed up. We are now 6 months after completion and when I called today to follow up, the person who We had been sending the pictures to and speaking with now denies she received the text messages and doesn't recall the promise to repair the deck. She also had the nerve to loud talk me and said she needs to check the warranty. Unacceptable. By the way, this isn't the only time we've had to call repeatedly about issues with the pool.

This company does not deserve any stars. This was by far the worst service I have ever received. I have never in my life left a bad review for any company before. We have used a lot of different contractors with our home remodel. Not all of them were the best. But we always worked it out and ended up with what we paid for. Not with Precision Pools. They are horrible. They are on top of things until that contract is signed. After that good luck. You will be lucky to hear from them or able to get in touch with them. Then it’s always the same list of excuses. The designer promised us all the things we wanted then when we got to final selections they told us all the stuff the designer said we could have were all upgrades. So the pool price went up. We had to change and take off some things. It took them almost a year from when we gave them the deposit to when they called the build “done”. They were hardly ever there working. They would come for a day then not be back for 2 weeks. They never call you back. There was never a job foreman or supervisors present to run the job. We had to watch them constantly. We were supposed to have a dark blue bottom pool. They assured us it would be on many occasions throughout the build. When it was first sprayed I was pretty positive it would never darken to the agreed upon color. But I trusted the owner when he said it would darken after a few weeks of brushing. So that is what I did every day. Twice a day. It never darkened and it was never going to. I had another pool company come out and they said the plaster color was never going to darken like the pictures we showed him. Which were the same pictures we showed the designer at Precision. They also destroyed my yard and pop up drains. They ran over them with their machines even after I told them they were there and needed to be protected. Then when the job was over and they came to “clean up” they left so much of the dirt in my yard. They just kinda packed it down and called it a day. My yard is now almost a foot higher than it was. The yard will not drain due to the drainage being broken and covered up with soil. All the landscape I bought and had put in after the pool was done died due to the yard holding too much water. Not only did those 3 trees die but 2 others that have been there for years as well. The owner told me that was due to the freeze we had last winter. The landscape was put in months after that freeze. So the company sent a landscaper out to look at the drainage. He took one look and said “yeah they left all this dirt and covered up your drain”. Which I already knew because I am the one that had to locate the drain and dig it up. The company then called and said my original drain was broken ( not by them of course ) and they can fix it for $300. I told them I would not come out of pocket any more money especially since I paid almost $60,000 for a pool that is not even what we wanted.

I'm so happy with our pool & spa. We have had no problems. The start to end date was 3.5 months and that is this year, 2021. Started at the end of January & completed early May. Our salesman, Scott, was awesome. Our project manager, David, was very helpful and always available.

Where to begin this traumatizing horrific experience with Precision Pools & Spas. BEWARE once you pay them the final total they become even harder to get a hold of. I signed a contract with Precision Pools & Spas in July of 2020. I was told I would be swimming by the end of October. It took them 7 MONTHS to complete my pool. They keep using covid and rain as an excuse. I have a family member who has access to 811 call before you dig tickets. They showed me several tickets where this company completed pools that started around the same time or after mine. I never felt so discriminated against. This company had nothing but excuses for me. I cautiously watched my 3 children under 7 play around a dangerous, rusting, caving in hole in my backyard for months. When they finally came to gunite in January, things speed up. I had a 2 week set back on my part from the freeze and finishing a permit for a covered patio but nothing compared to the excruciating, devastating 7 month nightmare. Today at the end of march they have ruined my daughters birthday (pool should have been completed in 2020) and they have still not finished the project. I turned the lights on for the first time and turned them back off and went to bed. The next day the pump is off and the spa is half drained. I thought I did something wrong until the project manager told me that their system was being upgraded online and was causing lots of problems. They were no help. The pump still does not come on. No compensation. Nothing for the hell they put my family through. The only good thing I can say about this company is when you do get a hold of someone they are polite.

I am a very dissatisfy cliente with the service received. They came to my house and destroy my back yard and I have to pay over $5.000 dollars after the pool was finished, because the sprinkles and the garden were destroyed. Also I have I been waiting for an answer from Michael the manager for near a year for things that have been pending and in the company nobody respond the email or return phone calls. Simple things as 1. The reimbursement of the water bills I sent to the company because my pool had a damage in the outside and trying to fixed it we had to empty the pol again and the water bill has not been pay. 2. There is a crack the pool still has from the first day supposedly it was finish but the crack has not been fix. 3. The machine that cleans the pool did not work, they change it and the new one did not work for more than a month and they have not respond for it. I paid near $45 thousand dollars and I had a really bad service. Diana Arango

So where do I begin with the big disappointment I have endured with Precision. Signed contract in May and they dug May 23rd and we are still in the process of the pool being completed. We were promised 6-8 weeks depending on weather. On average we have contractors out here ONCE a week a few hours at a time.. When you call for scheduling details you are left with very little info or "we'll call you back". No superintendent has EVER been to the house to check on work of their contractors. Only time we have seen one is to pick up a check and they have spent a total of 30 seconds at our home.The subcontractors. they have brought the wrong coping good thing, I was home to notice the error! Our table inside the pool was completely done with poor craftmanship and took THREE different attempts before it was correct. That alone was a FOUR week process, and nothing else was worked on the pool because they said they needed more money to step foward. My thoughts I need the screw ups corrected befo

From start to finish we enjoyed our entire experience building our dream pool with Precision Pools. Scott Shaw was our designer and he was the perfect fit for us. Right off the bat we discussed our budget and he was so great working with us to keep us on budget for this project. He never oversold items and really got us to think about what was most important to us. He really listened to what we wanted and came up with great solutions to make everything work exactly as we had it pictured in our heads. He was so knowledgeable in regards to pool building and calmed our nerves throughout the entire process. After the pool was finished we had a few minor items that fell under the warrantee and Norma was so quick to address the issue and get them resolved. We highly recommend them to build your dream pool!!!!

Michael and his crew were exceptional to work with. The job started when promised and was wrapped up far ahead of the proposed timeline. Michael has also been extremely responsive to our questions since completing the job (we are servicing our own pool, so a lot of questions). I would not hesitate to work with Michael and Precision again!

It is unfortunate after 1 yr of searching for a good pool company I selected precision pool ; 2nd day on the job they broke my concrete driveway. It was reported to the manager and nothing has been done I haven't even received a call. The contractors have no respect for one's property . I ' am afraid of what will happen to the house by the time the project is completed.
