We approached Dan as a referral from friends who had worked with Plan Architecture on a successful new custom built home. From the initial meeting with Dan and his team, we knew he understood our vision for the home. From there, we were able to iterate on the design with his team to very quickly and efficiently achieve the aesthetic we were working to achieve for our dream home. Dan and his team helped us expertly navigate the protracted and overly-complex approvals required when building a home in Northern NJ and remained available to us throughout the project timeline. Dan and his team treat each project as if it were their own, no detail is too small, no late evening or early morning 'phone call too much trouble. They respect their clients work obligations and budget, and work hard to deliver throughout the project's life cycle. We cannot speak highly enough of Plan Architecture, they were a pleasure to work with and bring your dreams to reality.

We worked with Dan and his team for an addition/full renovation of our home. We could tell the passion Dan has for his work from the moment we met with him. He came up with great ideas to design our addition and we were extremely happy with his work throughout the process. Dan is professional, creative and honest and his designs are a true work of art. We hired Dan and his team to design a new construction home in Wayne. Dan and his team are very professional and knowledgeable. We met the PLAN Architecture firm when we drove past one of the houses they'd designed (in Montclair NJ). We were so excited by the mix of classic and modern that we pulled the car over, rang the bell and met the owner.....who was very happy to give us their contact information. We hired them to design a major renovation (which turned into a new build) in Bernardsville NJ and were so happy with the results that we quickly hired them for not one, but two other major builds we are now working on. They have created 3 beautiful and yet very different homes, two with classic lines (farmhouse & Bauhaus) yet modern contemporary features, like fenestration. The third is completely contemporary and should be finished later this year! We recommend them highly!

We found Dan after working with a different architect for over a year on a home we were never quite satisfied with. The energy and creativity Dan brought to the table far exceeded our expectations. As first time home builders we appreciated Dan’s ability to translate our style, preferences and wish list into a dream home, customized for our budget and needs. I contacted Dan at Plan Architecture based on many referrals from friends and beautiful design work he has done in the area. Being completely new to the "architectural process", Dan made the extra effort to come to our home and discuss with us in person how the process works, as well as walking us through different plan scenarios that he could see working based on our objectives and goals. Dan provided us with terrific service. We needed the plans asap and he fast-tracked them for us. Everyone who worked on the project was knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. We were thoroughly pleased.

Dan (the head of Plan Architecture) & team designed us a family home in Montclair NJ, featured on his Houzz page as the Natty House. A bright, modern, open plan 4,000sqft, fun, super kid friendly, colorful, light, bright and unusual home and on a strict build budget . We completed the home in 2016 just 15 months after finding Dan on Houzz. The home is perfect, we made very slight modifications along the way which Dan was happy to accommodate. Best of all, we have lots of room to grow in the future. We highly recommend Dan and Plan Architecture, in fact he is already doing work for two more of our friends and continues to give others idea and tips. Dan and his main contractor Mike have become good friends since completing the project so well and with very little drama. In fact we had a celebratory BBQ with their families just after we moved in. Our entire family - Me, Katie and our 3 kids love the home, the secret passages and secret dens. But I have caught the home building bug and would do it again - with Plan Architecture of course!
