Owner, Chris McCracken took a $3,500. deposit for a custom mantle and disappeared. Really disappointed in him. Buyer beware.

We are so pleased with our new, updated mantel!! Chris did an excellent job across the board—from the initial visit with suggestions about style, proportion, and color to demo and installation. Stone Mantel installers are experienced and very capable. They attacked any issues (common with renovations!) with workable solutions. The finishing was done by Chris—he is very detail oriented and made a real effort to make us happy! The whole experience was positive and professional. We are looking forward to working with Stone Mantels to update 3 other fireplaces in our home. Based on our experience with Stone Mantels, Inc, we highly recommend this professional group—one that has that important (and for us, vital) personal touch.

I highly recommend Stone Mantels Inc. I inquired about a beautiful mantel I saw online and the next day a representative came to my home. He worked with me to select the best design and scale for a new cast stone fireplace mantel. Three weeks later, he accompanied the installation team to ensure the work was completed to his exacting standards. The team needed little supervision as they were very careful during the installation process and left the area swept clean. Everyone involved was both helpful and extremely professional. Stone Mantels Inc is fairly new to Charlotte and they really go the extra mile. I appreciated the regular communications I received throughout the process and their willingness to coordinate the installation around my work schedule. I found their pricing to be of value based on the quality and level of service I received. While not the least expensive, the quality is far superior to other cast stone companies I entertained.
