I had the opportunity to work with PKPG on the renovation of my home. PKPG was great to work with from the start of the process. Peter was a creative thought partner in thinking about how to renovate our home so we could have the living space and look and feel we desired. He came up with a creative solution to flip the location of the bathroom--this idea allowed us to create a stunning and luxurious master bath. PKPG was responsive, on budget and timely. Their work was meticulous and I was thrilled with the final result of my home. They were easy to work with and I would work with them again on future renovations.

The old adage "treat people as you would want to be treated" played very well in our demolition and reconstruction of our home. At every step of the way PKPG was 100% proactive in guiding us through the process. And any time I had a random question ~ they generally responded within minutes. The process is daunting ~ but PKPG made it an exciting adventure and we are SO pleased with the results.

When I began planning my project of completely redesigning my 2 restaurant's and creating 3 in the same space at the same address everyone said I was crazy. Until I met and sat with Kristin and Peter from PKPG Companies. The very first time I met them at my then Restaurant Michael in Winnetka, Peter immediately and without hesitation, began pointing out solutions to every problem I already knew would pop up. I knew almost instantly, that I would have another meeting with them as he offered this information with no strings and without question of my motives. The mutual trust was instant. 2 meetings later, I signed the contract and it was the best professional decision I have ever made. Not only have they delivered 3 COMPLETELY different concepts from what I once had, they did so under budget and 3 days ahead of schedule. It was simply amazing to see it unfold. Peter never lost focus, Kristin guided all of the purchasing with my designer and kept us under budget without one single compromise. Bryan, their project manager was a logistics marvel and Daniel, who as I have come to learn is a master carpenter never flinched in the face of a ridiculously short time line. Every single sub contractor was a true pro and made their craft look like effortless art. They all worked lockstep with me and the village and never missed a step. There is not enough I can say to reccomend this company with the proper accolades to do them justice. You will not find finer people or a more finely tuned and professional team that PKPG. The proof is in the pudding. Come and see their work. It speaks better of them then I possibly could. An amazing experience across the board!

We have worked with PKPG twice now – once 8 years ago to completely renovate the first floor of our home (new kitchen, new powder room, knocked down walls – the whole nine yards), and for the second time this past fall to gut three upstairs bathrooms. Peter, Kristen, Brian and the entire PKPG team were a pleasure to work with. These guys are consummate pros – they showed up on time, they left our house clean and they got stuff done when they said it would be done. Peter even designed the layouts for our kitchen and bathrooms. The best part was they finished both projects under budget. And they were so open and transparent with pricing. Kristen walked us through options for all the finishes so we could go a little nicer here, save a little money there, and basically feel in control of the entire process. We were truly blown away by the end result. Highly recommend!
