PJ Contracting LLC did a fantastic job renovating our dated kitchen, family room, laundry room and ½ bath into a sleek modern look that will last for years to come. Owner Pete was on our job site daily and was involved from the initial demolition to the conclusion of the project. His relationship with our kitchen cabinet supplier was instrumental overcoming supply chain issues to reduce project delays. Pete designed and built dual bookshelves and a fireplace mantel which are now the centerpiece of our family room. Kudos to Chris from his crew who meticulously installed kitchen/bathroom/laundry room backsplash and floor tile as well as installed the kitchen cabinets. Brother John was the jack of all trades doing all the little things. PJ Contracting was professional, responsive, flexible, creative and provided quality workmanship which resulted in the ultimate outcome, a smile on my wife’s face for a job well done.

In the summer of 2020 my wife and I finally completed our design work with our architect and began our search for contractors. We met and interviewed with a laundry list of contractors. We were doing, in our view, a large renovation on a home that had been in my wife's family for years. The work consisted of an addition, front porch, full exterior renovation and a renovation of about 95% of the interior. We met with plenty of contractors that made us feel both good and bad but Pete stuck out to us. Pete just seemed to be the most knowledgeable, kind and attentive of the bunch we met. He thoroughly listened to our wants, needs, concerns and budgets and was proactive and quick to our questions. Once we finally finished obtaining our variances within the township we immediately signed on to begin work with Pete. Pete and John quickly got started and kept us informed of timeframes and actions to be taken. During the renovation, Pete worked with us as there were some delays due to material issues (due to covid) and made sure to keep our project moving along as best as possible. These guys are truly craftsman - Pete, John and Chris worked tirelessly to make sure things were done and done professionally. Pete helped guide us through plenty of changes we threw at him throughout the process. As things started to get finished up on the interior it was clear that we had made the right choice. We have finally moved back into the house of our dreams thanks to Pete and his team. I highly recommend that if you are searching for a contractor that you call PJ Contracting - It will be one of the best decisions you could make!

We recently hired PJ to update our master bathroom, add an attic access and refinish our hardwood stairs. PJ and John are excellent craftsman but more importantly overall great guys. We have a modest sized master bath, but the idea's PJ offered transformed the space. We are ecstatic with the results. We were new to the remodeling process and PJ guided us every step of the way. PJ Contracting has done lots of work for us. The last being a bathroom remodel. We have always found Pete easy to work with as well as having the ability to create our vision. He is a professional and keeps a clean worksite. After the first job he did for us we have been loyal customers.

We have only known PJ for about six months since we bought his brand new construction home. Our experience has been great. PJ is a master Carpenter and he did a fantastic job on this new home, very detailed with great taste. Very professional and knowledgeable. Highly recommended.

PJ Contracting recently completed a large addition/renovation on our home (kitchen, family rooms, bathrooms, a bedroom, some serious basement foundation work, etc). Pete and his brother John are professional, organized, honest, and talented. Pete was flexible with our project and was willing to work closely with our architect to discuss ideas. Pete has been working in our area for a long time, so he has developed a wide array of relationships with reliable subcontractors and gave great advice for a few vendors in the area. We also took on some parts of the job ourselves and Pete was flexible with those ideas as well. Overall, we couldn't be happier with the experience and how everything came out! We hired PJ Contracting to renovate a house that we bought in short sale. In addition to ripping out the kitchen to the studs, moving a bathroom, moving walls, patching roof, replacing wood floors, we dealt with a lot of unknowns having bought an abandoned house. Pete and his crew worked with us starting with the purchase, all the way through move in. PJ's work is the highest quality and Pete helped us get the most for the money we had to spend. We highly recommend PJ for any project, large or small.

Approximately 4 years ago, we had hired PJ contracting to do additions on our existing home. Additions was done to add a Master bedroom, two bathrooms and an additional bed room. During the time, mainly worked with Peter and John. Both guys are professionals and easy to deal with. Pete was providing us with timely updates and ensured that all the jobs were completed on schedule, and made sure that our leaving space was neat and clean at the end of the day before we returned from work. Over the years, due to setteling of the new space, if we have observed a crack or a damaged joint(s), Pete is only a phone call away. He always follows up and addresses our concerns in a timely manner. From our personnel experience, I highly recommend PJ Contracting for any type of construction work. It was our pleasure to work with this team.

5 years ago I had flooding in my basement. I called a few contractors and water proofing companies and they all tried to sell me on sump pumps. But I wanted to keep water out of basement so there is no need of sump pumps. I called Pete Behson and explained the problem and what I wanted. Pete listened. . He came to house, looked over the problem and told me what had to be done. I told Pete to go ahead and do the work. He stopped the flooding in basement by finding the cause and plugging the holes in basement wall below ground level. I have not had a water problem there since. He cleaned up afterwards and his crew were very respectful and considerate. Excellent work and the price was reasonable for the amount of work. Excellent contractor.
