I hired Phillip Spencer Design to remodel my Kitchen and Dining room. I was on a modest budget and mostly needed a cosmetic upgrade. He was very thorough at helping me decipher what my needs were and how to make it work with my limited budget. His team worked efficiently and did beautiful work. I'm delighted with my upgraded Kitchen/dining room and have since used Phillip Spencer Design as my "go to" for any small projects I've needed: Custom handrails on my front and rear entry steps, new roofing, and spacial planning for my office. Trust is hard to come by and I'm happy to say that Phillip Spencer has earned mine!

As a client, Phillip Spencer transformed the Great Room in my home into a sumptuous Moroccan-inspired entertainment room. The space became known as "Kim's Kasbah" and provided many hours of enjoyment for friends and family As a collaborative professional, I have admired his artistry for years. For our mutual client Café Vida Culver City, which he designed from the ground up, he chose soothing moss hues juxtaposed with quartz and exposed wood grain, topped off by a double-height atrium. In describing the fresh new look of the restaurant, Phillip Spencer explained, “Vida means life, and I was inspired by the colors and moods of the rainforest. Key elements include striated woods that compliment walls the color of moss and lichen -- I wanted the interior to create a sense of the vibrancy of life through organic color and texture.” Said Cafe Vida's Owner Luis Castaneda, “Phillip Spencer has been a great asset in creating an inviting and organic look. Phillip Spencer Design was the best decision I ever made. I bought a house that was in foreclosure, and needed a lot of help. The house was trashed. Phillip Spencer Design supervised and designed the complete remodel of my 1956 mid-century modern home and turned it into an elegant showplace. I knew he had done a superb job but did not realize how superb until my friends and family came for visits and universally described the house as a "stunning" remodel. I love living in the house after the remodel; he listened to what I wanted and delivered that and much more. We communicated very well. I cannot say enough good things about this company.
