Philip Snyder is the owner and hands-on operator of PS Woodworking. Philip started working professionally with wood in 1987. He worked as an apprentice under Mark Schoettlin, (master woodworker) during the beginning of his career. Philip’s passion is his work, and to this day his passion for woodworking is what drives him to attain high quality craftsmanship and an extreme loyalty to his clientele. PSW unites a combination of old world hand tools and modern day machinery, in order to execute old world joinery, (mortise & tenon, dovetail etc...) and to achieve a well balanced blend of artistic form, function and aesthetics to his work. PSW specializes in custom woodworking of all aspects and styles. From utilitarian cabinetry to furniture grade cabinets and fine furnishings. As well as custom fabrication &/or installation of fine finish & trim carpentry items such as, wainscoting, coffered ceilings, paneling, pantries, closets, doors, windows and moldings.
