We used PGS to stain and seal our stamped concrete walkway and patio two times. The first time we were impressed with the workmanship and the concrete looked great. Two years later (6/2020) when we had the same work done again, we were disappointed with the workmanship and emailed pictures of our concerns the day after it was completed. We spoke on the phone with Patric and ultimately accepted the explanation that the concrete is now older and will no longer look as it did new. Patric never saw the completed job in person and he never came to the house even after we expressed these concerns. Three months have now passed and our front walkway looks considerably worse with many visible streaks, roller marks and significant uneven staining. We called and left a voicemail and received no response. We then emailed photos of our concerns. Patric hasn't called us, he hasn't responded to our email, nor has he come to actually see the work his crew did!

We first resealed this customer's stamped concrete in 2016 not 2018 as noted above and we were not the original installers. We sealed the stamped concrete in June 2020, initially she felt it did not look like it did previously. Later that day she replied with "... it looks a lot better..." On 9/12 she called and emailed photos to say the front walk did not look right. I followed up on 9/14 to say the owner was not the office but I would have him stop by. It took her 3 months to let us know the front walk "did not look right". The owner had a medical situation that required hospitalization - I did not communicate this to her at the time. We can clearly demonstrate we were responsive - if even with an email message. The fact that two weeks passed and she felt it should have been addressed she did not feel it appropriate to reach out and ask why someone had not stopped by. Rather that reach out and despite our responsive communication she decided to write a 1 star review on the BBB.org site. I followed up with her and explained the situation. Her reply follows:

"I’m sorry that Patric has been ill. Had that been communicated, we may not have felt that a review was necessary.
We did assume the worse since there’s been no communication in almost 3 weeks. I left a voicemail, and then when there was no response, emailed with pictures. You emailed and told me he would stop by. Since then we haven’t seen him or heard from anyone. After both calling and emailing, it didn’t seem like anymore “follow up” would be productive."

So even after this was communicated she held firm in her position that I should have communicated he was in the hospital. I strongly disagree and as most would understand, this project while important to her, could be addressed at a later date. It was not a critical situation as his health was.

So after all the explanation to her and a call from the owner this individual decided a second 1 star review was necessary.

They did a great job, had a good plan, and managed the unexpected challenges of the job very well. A definite recommendation for any job that requires a more thoughtful approach and plan.

Patric Jamo is a hands on owner that overseas his staff down to the littlest details. He is very thorough in all aspects of the job from the original estimate to watching each phase of the project. I was very concerned about the pitch of the driveway and how the new driveway met the existing street. After a rain storm the driveway drained just as he designed it. This is important so the water does not puddle and freeze in the winter as it has done for years before Patric and his PGS Concrete Design team went to work and poured a new driveway. Patric addressed the major concerns I had and we have had no problems with the new concrete driveway. Looking forward to many years with the new driveway.

PGS completed a stamp concrete patio and sidewalk at my home in July. I could not be happier with Patric’s professionalism and knowledge. He listen to my concerns and took time to answer all my questions. He and his team completed the job on time with little disruption to our home. I will definitely use PGS for any projects in the future.

My project—a patio—was handled in a timely manner, the work site was well-maintained for the duration of the project, and the outcome was excellent, adding increased value to my property. PGS Concrete installed a beautiful stamped concrete patio at my home. Not only did the owner give me multiple ideas for this project but he went out of his way to work within my budget and create a beautifully finished product. Work was done quickly and efficiently with very little disruption to my family.
