We are a very happy customers of Peninsula Concrete! we are enjoy their work every day and would hire them again :) I have worked with them over the summer and they are very professional with their work. During the time they work for us, they have removed old driveway and install a new one with Pavers as well as a patio area. Dennis and his team have been so wonderful in helping us make decisions that will affect not only the look but also the maintenance of the pavers. I felt supported Dennis Tom and the team to complete the job with the highest quality possible. it is a pleasure to recommend them! One thing i have learned over my work with different contractors on the job is to make sure any changes that are made to original plan/quote are in writing ,agreed and signed by both sides prior to the work related to the changes.

The Team at Peninsula concrete are fantastic! Everyone from the receptionist who answered my 7:30am calls to the project lead/foreman. Tom Schreiber and owner Dennis Turchet are great to work with. They are prompt, personable and professional. The entire project from initial quote to project completion was as promised/scheduled (within 4 weeks). Including the unexpected rain delays!

These guys are great. We had a driveway needing replacement and they came out and gave us a estimate and approximate start date. We looked no further and they did a fantastic job, on-time, with no surprises. Would recommend them without a second thought.

Foundation for house addition, 18x21 ft with crawlspace, build forms and pour 8 yards of concrete. I dug the site myself. I chose Peninsula because they were so responsive, plus the recommendation of my contractor neighbor. First words on the phone was them telling me how many weeks out their availability was. Every time I called, someone was there or called right back. They were on time, they knew when they would start and finish, and they did a good job. The forms were set more accurately than I expected. The crew was rather casual about leaving fallen soil in the footing trenches or too close to steel, so I was out there in the evenings digging it out, but that's probably typical construction and I'm just really neat. They left the site clean including the street and my walkways, no spills. Estimates and invoices were all processed very quickly and everything was well documented. As the owner-builder I felt these things were important and I appreciated the good service and quality work.

After interviewing a couple of different concrete/paver companies, it became apparent that Peninsula Concrete was by far the company to go with. Tom listened to my ideas, helped me put together a plan and walked me through the entire process. Tom went the extra mile to find out if I needed permits for the project and did all the trouble shooting ahead of time. The project (involving a cement patio in the backyard and pavers in the front of the house) was completed swiftly and the outcome was beyond my expectations. The work crew was very respectful of me and my neighbors. I couldn't be happier!

Peninsula Concrete replaced portions of the sidewalks around our building that was being required by the city. The work was completed on time, quickly and efficiently, and per the cost estimate they provided. I was very pleased how the work turned out. Both Tom and Dennis were great to work with and were very responsive to my calls and questions as the project was completed. Would definitely use them again and recommend them to others.

Dennis and Tom from Peninsula Concrete did an excellent job with our house front and back yard. They are very professional and respond to our questions on time.

We had used services of peninsula concrete for creation of drain on one side of newly constructed foundation wall. Drainage was recommended as this foundation was facing uphill. We chose peninsula concrete as most other concrete companies we ended up contacting were not local (to Redwood City) -- and hence due to transportation their costs were higher than local companies (incl. Peninsula). Among the local companies, a few were landscaping companies who were happily bidding low with a fine point that concrete for the draining would be "thin". Bay area's soil (for most parts) can easily be called as concrete slab's nightmare -- usually cracks develop soon if slab is not create with care and following proper procedure. We are glad we went with Peninsula. Two years down the line, there are no cracks in this concrete drain which stands as a testimonial to the quality of Peninsula's work. As a part of the same contract, we had also hired them for creating a redwood retaining wall for our raised bed. Once more flawless work. Strongly recommend them (especially if you are local to Redwood City and neighboring areas).

We intended to improve the exterior of our home and, with Peninsula Concrete -- a company well-versed in concrete, pavers, and drainage in San Mateo County -- we were able to achieve even more than we originally planned. Dennis and Tom are a well-tuned team. They have a good crew of workmen who add their two cents from time to time, which, for us, made a big difference in adding drainage, which we hadn't considered. Peninsula Concrete did an amazing job on the pavers on our property. They did everything we asked and went above and beyond. As we have worked further with other contractors, it is the level of communication that has made all the difference. As I mentioned before, Dennis and Tom and their attentive communication puts them above most. Their experience puts their company over the top. We were very satisfied with their work.
