Paul is a national treasure. And a great designer. I hired him to do several rooms in my new place in DC. My current style of Ecclectic International Hobo did't really fit with the ultra modern and stark European styled condo I bought. I needed an update that was streamlined, sophisticated, and inviting. And I needed it on a budget. He worked with me to identify immediate and inexpensive (and free) ways to use some of my pieces and mix them with new ones. He plays with color and texture in ways that can elevate a space to a whole new level. He was always willing to stop by and listen to whatever ideas I had come up with. He even agreed with some of them! Even when he didn't he was able to understand the goal, and provide alternatives that always worked. He made my new place drop dead sexy without being overbearing or a cliché. There's nothing standard in his creative arsenal. It's all tailored to the space and the people who are going to use it. There's nothing intimidating or overwrought with anything he does. It's all edited to perfection. Every space he created was representative of me, the space, and my life. We found Paul through mutual friends in Washington, DC when we had a fit over some work he did for them in their condo. We decided immediately to work with Paul on a complete renovation our bathroom in our Dupont Circle condo. The bathroom was like something out of the 70's, but after Paul was done with it, it looked like something out of a magazine. We could not have been happier with his approach to the project, his demeanor and most importantly, he made what can be a stressful process, extremely fun. While the bathroom renovation in Dupont was a major gut job, we own a condo in NYC that is in need of more of an aesthetic upgrade, so we will be approaching him to work with on that as well, as we feel his strengths not only lie in complete renovation, but also in pure design work as well. We highly recommend him for any project, large or small and feel you will have the same experience we had with him.

Paul transformed every room of my 1500 square foot apartment into a beautiful, sophisticated, and functional space. He was able to work with me in phases as my budget allowed, and was always accommodating – making time in his schedule whether I need a complete room makeover or simply needed help choosing a sofa. I love Paul’s aesthetic, but I also love that he really listens to his clients. He worked with me to make sure I was completely happy with every choice we made, and adjusted things as needed to fit within my budget. As a result, my spaces feel totally “me” but with the benefit of Paul’s great style, aesthetic and influence. Paul is also a consummate professional – he arrives on time for all appointments, regularly communicates as to status and next steps, and sweats the details – making sure everything is finished and done correctly (which I so appreciate). The contractors and professionals that Paul has recommend to me or engaged on my behalf – whether to paint, hang window treatments, install light fixtures, hang art, etc. – have likewise all been consummate professionals. On top of all of that, he’s also just a really nice person – kind, considerate, and very easy to work with. While I have only worked with Paul on interior design projects to date, I trust him implicitly with all home projects and wouldn’t turn to anyone else for design or renovation needs. I plan to engage him to assist with upcoming renovation projects in my apartment, which makes those big projects feel much less stressful/more manageable – I know I’ll be in good hands!

Paul Corrie transformed our post war bungalow (1934) over an eighteen-month period. A comprehensive remodeling of our home. He was instrumental in working/guiding the general contractor and trades. His lux vision was thoughtful yet on point, with a keen ear to our wishes and concerns, both aesthetically and monetarily. He also introduced new, surprising design elements and much needed whimsy into a somewhat stodgy, dated “crib”. He was always available, professional under, at times, stressful situations and delivered on his promises. A job very well done.

We downsized from a house to an apartment and wanted to make the new place polished, functional and sophisticated. Paul worked with us on all phases and the results are stunning. Great eye, terrific listener, highly professional and highly recommended!

Our 562-square foot condo in Provincetown was in major need of a new bathroom and an updated kitchen. Getting a place in Ptown had a been a huge, life long goal of ours so we wanted to make sure that we made a smart investment as well. We spoke to Paul about our goals and our budget early on and relayed that we needed something that would be beautiful, modern, and timeless, but that could also stand up to possible use/abuse from people using our place as a rental. He came back with an amazing bathroom design and some thoughtful updates to the kitchen that exceeded our expectations, and at a budget we thought was appropriate. Unfortunately after demo of the bathroom, some significant structural issues were discovered. Paul worked daily with the contractor to figure out the best path forward to resolving the issues while minimizing delays and unexpected cost. He also kept us in the loop as it unfolded. There were some minor delays in completing the project as a result but we couldn't be happier with his design and the work his contractors did. We sometimes just stare at the bathroom and smile, realizing that it's actually something in our place. Thank you so much Paul for all that you did!

Fantastic. He redecorated my bedroom (and is in the process of redecoration my main room (I live in a one-bedroom condo). He has an excellent eye for style, knows how to translate my inability to communicate what I want, and provides guidance with our pressure on ways to upgrade and update my condo. I would recommend him to anyone (and have). He’s a top notch professional but also someone who is a pleasure to work with.

Paul translated our goals into the colors and patterns we wanted through paint selection, window treatments, carpet, lighting, pillows and pairing our antiques with newer traditional pieces (and more antiques). What a perfect pairing! The project was never stale, not for a moment. He moved things along. We intend to consult with Paul on our next residential project.

I knew I would not have the time or frankly the finances to commit to an all-in-one design overhaul as a new homeowner in my Washington, DC rowhome so I shopped around for some reasonable alternatives. I quickly discovered Paul Corrie Interiors e-Services, where for an EXTREMELY reasonable fee PCI swiftly provided a full personalized design plan of my spaces, all based on my needs, tastes, inspirations, and a few choice pieces I wanted to keep. I was provided with design concept boards, a floorplan, a proposal, and a list of contractors and suppliers in case I had difficulty finding anything. This worked perfectly for me as I was able to spread out my redesign across my own timeline, paycheck, and I enjoyed working on my house on my own. It also allowed me to go back for more design plans after each project was complete. We first tackled my living and dining room, then den and master bedroom. The kitchen turned into a very successful overhaul and next is my outdoor space come early 2013. Get ready PCI!

I inherited my home in Washington, DC from my father who had a passion for Americana antiques and pottery. Paul Corrie refreshed and modernized the look while using some of the existing pottery to honor my father's collection. Paul Corrie redesigned the living room, dining room, and powder room on the first floor. I'm 100% satisfied with the way he seamlessly integrated the old with the new.
