Builders Cabinet

We did a complete renovation of our family home. Our contractor Cobblestone Development/now Cobblestone Remodeling, 3066 N. Clybourn Ave, Chicago....Recommended Builder's Cabinet. That's the only good thing that came out of Cobblestone Remodeling was the great recommendation, and leading us to Ronnie Quinones. We had Ronnie Q. as our designer for our kitchen and 2 bathrooms. He is professional, knowledgeable, experienced and patient. He worked with us, took in our ideas, our vision, needs, wants and put his skills to work. His attention to detail, honesty, gave us confidence, and made it easy to work with Builder's Cabinet. Even though we had some glitches, Ronnie went above and beyond the call of duty to make things right. He made sure we were happy, satisfied, and got what we paid for. Through all the ups and downs of our home remodeling project....We had numerous problems with Cobblestone Remodeling....DON'T hire them!!!! Ronnie was there for us and his product. I would also like to give kudos to Eric from BC who also helped us out. We would highly recommend BC, there team, and especially Ronnie Q.

We renovated our first floor during the winter/spring of 2020 which included redoing our kitchen. Our contractor recommended Builder's and we're pleased with the process and the end result. We had a hard deadline that coincided with our baby's due date so it was going to be a quick turnaround. Ronnie came out to our house in December and knowing we were in a time crunch to get the cabinets ordered, sent the drawings back the next morning. He made improvements to a small space that made our kitchen much more functional and increased storage dramatically. He also worked with our interior designer on the creation of a mudroom; she had a vision for hidden shoe storage with a bench and a two level coat closet. Ronnie and his team worked their magic and the final product is better than we could have dreamed. Beyond the quality and thoughtful design work, the customer service was outstanding, Ronnie was quick to respond, and he took care of any issues or questions we had throughout the project. Our experience with BCS was positive from start to finish. Picking out cabinets and designing the configuration is no small task. Additionally we are an opinionated and demanding couple, but thankfully we worked with Ronnie who was not only exceptionally patient but also very experienced. His skill for design considering our vision as well as his attention to detail made it easy to trust him and move efficiently towards complealtion of the project. After a couple months of using the cabinetry we still remain extremely happy with the quality. Thank you BCS!

We ordered two bathroom vanities after getting quotes and examining several other options. Builders Cabinet had the natural Walnut we were looking for and the price was very competitive. We worked with Sara, who was very responsive and accommodating. We had many questions and went through several drafts before finalizing. Also, despite our order being placed in the middle of the pandemic they completed the order on time and have been flexible with pickup arrangements.

Review based on Lombard showroom. Purchased cabinets in May, paid half and upon delivery we paid the balance. It is now November and I still do not have a full set cabinets. The sample doors that they had in Lombard, and where I placed my order, did not match what we received. Not even close. What I received was about four shades darker. They sent out the rep for this area, Stephen Tunis of Norcraft, who was as unprofessional as they come. I had to call the manufacturer myself since neither Builders or Norcraft would return my calls. Be careful if you use recommendations from your contractor, this is what got us where we are today. It is so scary how you are at the mercy of these people without much recourse unless you want to pay for an attorney. I've disputed the purchase w/my credit card company so I am hoping that will prompt someone (anyone!!) to try to help us.

We recently used Builders Cabinet for a kitchen remodel and worked with Rani Jain. We had a fabulous experience. Rani's vision for our kitchen matched ours and exceeded our expectations. She takes the time to work with the client and is thoughtful about the whole process. She was a delight to work with and we were beyond pleased with the quality of cabinets.

I am a designer and use builders cabinet for many of my kitchens. They do a beautiful job and make very quality, durable, and stunning cabinetry. They are very attentive and respond quickly to all of my questions and concerns on a project while giving expert advice. I am particularly fond of working with Logan at the Western location. I would highly recommend using them.

What we love about this product is the quality and that fact that is manufactured locally. Our most recent project using the White Glazed Portabella finish turned out amazing. We just finished building our dream home. Builder's Cabinet was wonderful to work with. Sara, Builder's Cabinet designer, helped us throughout the process. We used Builder's Cabinet for all 5 bathrooms, kitchen, linen/towel armoire, master closet, bazaar (Butler's Pantry), mudroom/laundry room and wine lounge. We had a strict budget and Builder's Cabinet was able to design something for us that was mindful of it. We had specific visions that we wanted incorporated into our home. Instead of a linen closet on the second floor we wanted an armoire built in to the wall. Builder's Cabinet was able to make it look like a piece of furniture that is flush with the wall. In our mudroom we wanted as much storage as possible along with space for our coats, shoes and cleaning supplies. We also wanted to choose a color for the cabinets that was fun and different then the other spaces. With each space, Sara listened to what we wanted and how we wanted to use the space. She was patient through each revision in our plan as well as offering creative solutions to our challenging ideas. She came to the job site numerous times as did, Brian, Builder's Cabinet owner, to take measurements, talk with the builder and answer any questions. Our kitchen is the focal point of our home. We were looking for the wow factor in the layout of the cabinets. The egg and dart molding with the additional crown at the top of the cabinets helped to achieve that look. We love to cook and prepare dinner together as a family. It was important for us to have plenty of space to chop and cut and not be in each others way. We love the contrast of the off white cabinets outer cabinets and the cherry island. The master closet has plenty of space for each season's worth of clothes without having to rotate clothes. Having a combination of drawers, shelves and hanging clothes was important. The wine lounge and basement bath have a contemporary flair to them which is a stark contrast the the traditional feel of the rest of the home. Each of the bathrooms have a different look to them. The master bath is a large space. We love the way Sara created a place for chotskies. The furniture legs and crown molding make for a more sophisticated look. Our children's bathroom cabinets reflect their unique style. This is our fourth time using Builder's Cabinet. We have used them in the past for a kitchen and bath remodel as well as a laundry room update. Each and every time we have been completely satisfied. We would highly recommend Brian and his team.
