I spent a year working with Lila on the complete remodel and redecoration of our lake home. In conjunction with Fred Parker Company, who did the remodel, Lila did all of the design work. Lila listened to my needs and wishes, then helped to shape the style I was looking for, in addition to making it personal to our family. She worked tirelessly to help me choose tile, paint, kitchen and bath fixtures, cabinets, countertops, wood flooring, carpet, window treatments, rugs, lighting, fabric, and furniture. Lila's many professional connections made the selection process as seamless as possible. At every step of the way, Lila provided friendly guidance when I was overwhelmed. Lila has an exceptional eye for color, using her skills to choose the perfect paint colors and the perfect wood floor stain. As anyone who has ever walked into a tile showroom knows, you need someone like Lila to hold your hand to navigate the endless choices. Lila knows what the trends are, yet helped me make timeless choices that I absolutely love. She is a delight to work with and I could not be happier with my beautifully remodeled lake house!

I have used Lila's services on more than one occasion, with delightful results. When we built our home in 1993, Lila provided excellent service as we chose colors, fabrics, and furniture. She brought swatches and samples of carpet, wallpapers and fabrics. We reupholsterd some pieces and purchased other things new. She was an amazing sleuth, searching out exactly the right pieces to go with our French countryside style and the limits of our checkbook. One example is the chairs for our dining room. We wanted sturdy, substantially-built chairs, but my husband had imposed a budget for the chairs that made the search a challenge. She was able to find the PERFECT chairs that simply needed to have a wash of a different color stain to match our color scheme. She was able to help us envision new colors and repurposing of some of the pieces of furniture that we thought would have to go, based on color.or style. Years later, when I wanted to do some redecorating, it was fun to work with Lila again. For an example, she helped us with framing of some Chinese watercolors that we had brought home from a recent trip, and tied them in with fabrics for a complete remodel of a bedroom. She even found awesome fabric with pagodas to complement the new art. I heartily recommend Lila for your new home selections or for any remodeling projects. I would not hesitate to use Lila's keen eye for style for any future projects for my home.
