Paul and I partnered for a project for a restaurant redesign in October and I found Paul did great work in coordinating with everyone to get the project done quickly and on time and find a design that the client loved quickly with only a quick review. He was a great fit and a great help for the project.

Paul created an ambitious and unique design for our home remodel. He was available throughout to help us with decisions as well as changes that needed to be made, including some at the last minute. We have recommended element studio two other friends, who have been as impressed as we have.

Paul has been a pleasure to work with in all ways. He is not only a gifted architect, but brings to the design field his early hands-on experience with hammer and nail. That in-the-field know-how is invaluable, since he can think like an architect, a designer, and a contractor. He is responsive as an architect, able to provide new ideas and concepts spontaneously during meetings. He is thorough in his homework and behind-the-scenes inquiries about subtleties in code. Paul not only knows his architectural options, but is well versed in product lines and thus can advise the client on the spot about products, availability, rough costs, design integrity, etc. This was a great bonus during meetings as we explored design options and often kept us from spending unnecessary time on fruitless ideas. He listens to client needs, makes appropriate adjustments that often far exceed limited client perspectives, and then demonstrates a further willingness to scratch away on tissue paper to show the client other options (should the client need help visualizing or want other options). Paul is both artist and draftsman, which greatly helps clients in developing a greater sense of scope, scale, and visual elements of the project. He's as pleasant as they come, prompt with feedback, willing to listen to budget concerns, and an all-around delight to work with. And he came highly recommended by our top notch, very discerning contractor !

Paul's has been great to work with. Paul listened when we described what features and functionalities we wanted in our remodel. Even though sometimes my husband and I wouldn't value the same features, Paul created the perfect blend. Our city building department is difficult to work, often times not being consistent with their interpretation of their own guidelines. Paul was diligent in providing the information needed to get the permit approved.
