I have been working with Sally and Paul for the past year designing and installing a lighting plan for our house whilst we were extending and renovating our house as well as a small new build. Throughout the project they have been really good at listening to what I wanted to achieve, been very good at getting drawings to me on time, happy to make revisions as needed, liaised with electricians and very quick at responding if urgent questions arose. In addition, they have always taken time to explain things, as I wanted to learn a bit more about lighting during the process. The project actually expanded as soon as we started installing the lights in the initial rooms, as we were so happy with the end results of these rooms, so we needed to include rooms we hadn’t planned to do. We are very pleased with all rooms they designed for us and some have even exceeded our expectations. The rooms and its contents have come alive with Sally and Paul’s creative lighting plans and excellent light fittings. I would highly recommend Owl Lighting.

Sally and Paul did a great job designing a lighting plan for our house whilst we were renovating and extending our house. Communication was always great; they answered any questions very promptly and they came out to visit several times during the various stages of building work. Our house is nearly finished and we’re loving the beautiful and thoughtful lighting we have in our “new house”. They also did a great lighting plan for our garden. We have worked with Paul and Sally on a few projects. We really enjoy the process and there is always good communication and design ideas. Sally, just wanted to drop you a quick line to say thank you so much for your help with the challenging lighting in the sitting room at Penns. Your fabulous little lights have done the trick and the whole room had been illuminated! They are really perfect. So little and discreet but they really do cover the whole room without blinding you. Even the electrician had high praise for the quality of the fittings!

I used Owl Lighting to help us when we were refurbishing our Grade 2 listed house. We have lots of beams and different height ceilings so I knew that getting the lighting right was not only important but also could be quite tricky. Sally Stephenson came for the first site visit extremely promptly and also provided the lighting plan very quickly as the builders wanted it yesterday! She also explained the different types of lighting to me and we are delighted with the final results.

I worked with Owl Lighting for a kitchen redesign and for a rebuild of my indoor pool. I worked with Sally and she was a true professional from start to finish. She listened to my needs, worked within my budget and provided very valuable suggestions and insight. She is very knowledgeable about the impact of lighting and thought of so many things that I would never had considered. In both projects, she had to work with a number of subcontractors and she jumped right in and controlled all lighting elements even when some of the subcontractors tried to make her job difficult. Best of all the team at Owl Lighting were so nice to work with and always responded quickly to my calls and emails. I would highly recommend them for any lighting requirements you might have.

WE involved Sally at Owl lighting in our bathroom,bedroom, dressing room project. Her ideas made a huge impact upon the finished result which was a great success. Her technical and aesthetic approach helped us to get the best results and avoided the normal laymens errors usually made. I cannot recommend Owl more highly and Sally is a delight to work with.

We have recently completed the renovation of a 16th Century Barn in West Sussex and Sally Stephenson was responsible for the lighting design and supply of all the fittings, both internally and externally. They system was linked to Gira Home Serve which can be operated remotely from several devices. The quality of the fittings and the drawings provided were of a very high standard.
