Rugs are works of art, and ODR are experts. Huge selection with very reasonable pricing. It was worth the 1.5 hour drive. Easy access to I-75 and plenty of safe parking.

The entire process was simple and the quality of their work and service lived up to other reviews we saw when trying to find a reputable company to clean our 8' x 10', custom-made, wool rug. We needed a company that could thoroughly clean a rug that had pet urine (cat specifically) that had been embedded into the rug and pad. They rug is 100% clean and fresh and they were able to cut us a brand new rug pad. We are completely satisfied with the results. Thank you for restoring our beautiful rug to its original condition!

We were very, very pleased with both the quality of the work done for us by Oriental Designer Rugs and the price they charged. We sent them 5 rugs, including our old Serapi rug, almost in rags, and after it was cleaned and repaired we've decided to display it in our living room instead of having to hide it halfway under a bed. They were conservative in their recommendations, with no pressure to do more was warranted, and they were mindful of preserving the design and integrity of the rugs even though several had to be re-fringed. We will certainly use them again and can highly recommend them to you.

I called Mr Vinett and Designer Rugs by chance after looking on the internet for hooked rug repairs. Our puppy had eaten a. Beautiful 13” circular chair cushion. It had been made many years ago by my Grandmother,Lilly. It was being saved for her Great-Great Granddaughter, Lilly(5). After speaking with Oriental Designer Rugs ....we shipped them our heirloom seat cushion. I received it in the return mail yesterday. We can’t even tell where it had been chewed. You want to buy rugs without paying authentic prices for rugs that look the same. My rug expense buying the beautiful machine made rugs from Oriental Designer Rugs, even the cost of the machine made rugs was discounted, was 15 percent of other shops but the visual quality is equal. The two rugs I bought have made a loud beautiful substantive statement about who I am just with the look of my office. Everybody from management to the delivery people were trying to discern and meet your needs at prices where you feel like you’re stealing the rugs. Top five retail experiences ever had for this crusty 63 year old.

I had a large rug from a bigger home. They cut it to size remade the boarder and created an entry rug from some of the extra. It all turned out better than I expected. They were priced fair and did all the work in the time promised!!

It was a pleasure doing business with Oriental Designer. They had the equivalent of a Rya rug that I have been searching for more than a year. Their price was fair and delivery was on time. Because I was on a mission, I did not look at their substantial inventory of rugs in the store. What you'll see on web page understates the beauty of their offerings. Warning-the number system on their street is crazy, they are located at the end of the street.

Vineet and his company were professional, kind and helpful when my puppy chewed my friend's rug. He quickly found a repair patch and had it ready early despite the holiday time crunch. He offered several repair options and guided us toward the one that would look the best and honor the rug's integrity without spending too much money. All the employees were helpful and friendly and I appreciated them all going out of their way to make this a pleasant experience.

He was friendly and professional, and worked hard to insure that we were aware of the look of the finished project and that he had the correct measurements before proceeding. I used ODR to clean two rugs of mine recently and what a fantastic job they did. the two gentlemen who came to my home were exceptionally professional and knowledgeable. They removed the rugs with care and returned them in the same way. They look like new -- beautiful. I also ended up purchasing a new runner for my kitchen and Shahn made it all very easy, bringing a variety of samples to my home. Highly recommend them.

We finally decided to have our 20 year old oriental rugs cleaned since our efforts with rental methods did not suffice. We contacted Shahn who arranged for the rugs to be taken to their facility. They were cleaned and returned as scheduled. The amazing thing is that we thought the rugs were just moderately dirty, YIKES were we wrong. The result is amazing and they seem better than new. We won't need new ones but after visiting the vast selection in their huge store we know where we would go.

Best in Atlanta to purchase rugs. We had a difficult time determining type and design of rug needed. Oriental Rugs brought out rugs for us see in place in our home and decided on one. After a couple weeks, we decided the rug was not exactly what we were looking for, revisited the store and Oriental Rugs brought out several more rugs and were most pleasant to work with for the exchange. We recently bought two rugs on different occasions and were very pleased with our experience. Shawn helped us when we walked in the first time. He took time to help educate us on the different types of rugs . He helped us narrow it down to 3 different rugs that we were able to take home and see how they looked in our home. I made a call to Oriental Designer Rugs because I thought it was the place my parents had bought their gigantic oriental rug. We never figured out if was but it didn’t matter, Renu and Benny made my experience finding out the rugs worth so pleasant and informative. I now know more about the rug than my parents did and can pass that information on to those who might inherit it. And it was all done by FaceTime. What a boon for those of us far away. We have been so pleased with the rug we purchased from Oriental Designer Rugs. Their customer service was first-rate. We were allowed to look at our leisure, delivery was prompt and efficient. We have several oriental rugs that needed cleaned, repaired, and appraised. I have enjoyed working with this family owned business from the very start. They came out and went over each rug in detail, rolled them all up and took them back to their warehouse to begin work. As scheduled, I went to their warehouse to look at each rug a couple weeks later. The warehouse is very nice and they have a great selection and display of other orientals for anyone looking for a special piece. All our rugs were laid out so we could see the repairs and look at each rug while going over the appraisal in detail. They all look amazing and I am extremely pleased with the results. The home is now under remodel so the rugs needed to be stored and I was able to work through the logistics and store the rugs until we are ready for delivery. The rugs we have collected over a lifetime mean a great deal to the family so I feel very fortunate to have found this company to trust and help us keep them looking great for many more years to come.

After years of owning Dhurrie rugs bought at Oriental Designer Rugs (20 years), we returned to purchase a new Dhurrie Rug. We found your company on a web search. It was a 40 mile trip one way but was worth the trip. We came in and were promptly greeted. Shahn worked with us in a very professional and comfortable manner. An online search led me to Oriental Designer Rug’s website where I was able to browse using their excellent search function and determine that they had a large enough selection making the hour trip to their store worthwhile. I was not disappointed. Vineet was knowledgeable, guiding me through options I had not considered; no hard-sell, no attitude even though my budget was probably on the lower range of their clientele. With expert care they re-wove the edges of my oriental carpet. It was a sincere pleasure doing business with them. We had an oriental rug that had been torn on the side and the fringe was uneven. We have had the rug for many years and it had never been cleaned. They picked it up, repaired it perfectly, cleaned it, and then delivered it to our new home. Once here, they carefully placed it where we wanted it, pointing out the nap and helping us to decide which way it should be faced. Could not have been more pleased. Plan on visiting there store in Atlanta to purchase an additional rug as they have many to choose from at very fair prices.

Benny and Vinnet are wonderful. Both are so knowledgeable and customer focused. I first contacted Benny with a fringe stain problem on my 20 year old plus Persian rug. I had taken my rug to couple of other Oriental rug specialist to discuss the staining that had appeared on my fringe over the years and see if the area could be cleaned and/or made to look better. No one wanted to touch the fringe and had absolutely no suggestions for how to improve how the fringe looked. After purchasing a couple of rugs from Oriental Designer Rugs in the last five years and getting ready to reuse the stained rug in a new home we had just purchased, I decided to call ODRs and got Benny. We discussed the staining problem at length and he gave me the confidence that they would help me and for me to bring the rug in for them to look at. Vinnet was working the day we brought the rug in and he spent much time evaluating the rug and discussing with me in detail cleaning and repairing options noting areas of the fringe that were stained and that had some deteriorated. We agreed on how to move forward based on his recommendations while informing me that his cleaner and repair person would have to look at the rug to confirm that what we had agreed to do was possible. Vinnet also told me if anything changed based on the cleaner and repair person's assessment, he would contact me. Several days later that is exactly what he did. He discussed with me why and how we should adjust what we had previously discussed and proceed with a different cleaning and repair option to get the rug ready for its new home. (What he recommended based on the final rug assessment was actually less expensive than the original estimate he gave me when I brought the rug in - difference process, less work, less money!) I agreed and a week later I got a call from Vinnet that my rug was ready. I asked him if he was happy with how it looked and he said yes but that I would have to judge for myself. Well I picked it up and I was thrilled. Based on the original condition of the fringe when I left my rug, the fringe almost looked as if it was new! I would certainly recommend Oriental Designer Rug to anyone who wants to purchase or have an already purchased valuable rug cared for. This family ready understands customer service and goes way beyond what we see as good customer service and fair pricing anymore.

I called Oriental Designer Rugs in desperation after a puppy chewed my beloved, irreplaceable area rug. I found ODR online--they are in Atlanta, and I am in Ohio. They requested pictures of the damage and thoroughly explained the repair process, risks, cost and so forth. I was extremely relieved to have contacted someone who was obviously as concerned as I was about my rug. They gave me an approximate completion time, (which they met), and asked me to let them know when my rug would be arriving to be sure it got to them safely. Upon completion of the repairs, they sent me pictures of the repairs. I was thrilled at the results! I received my rug today and couldn't be more pleased. Their craftsmanship is superb! I highly recommend Oriental Designer Rugs.

Having had a good experience with this business a couple of times previously, we went to look at rugs for 3 different sized rooms. We selected several possibles for each room. They brought them out and placed them for comparison as to how they looked in place. We ended by buying a rug for 2 rooms and keeping a rug we had for the third room. I took a picture of a rug runner that I wanted a carpet to complement to Oriental Designer Rugs. Everyone was extremely patient and considerate of my likes and dislikes in oriental rugs. They carefully displayed many many rugs looking for just the correct colors to go with my runner. We finally found just the right one at a good price for me. In fact, I bought two rugs instead of just the one I went looking for. When I got the rug home, it finished off my room perfectly and the small area rug was just what I wanted for the foyer. Found a beautiful rug online. Called the store and followed up with a visit. Sales personnel were very knowledgeable. They showed me the rug I requested plus several other similar rugs in various price ranges to be sure about colors and type of rug. They had the rug and pad ready & put it in my car when I arrived on the pick up date. Everyone was professional and courteous, and I love my new rug.

I recently received a recommendation to visit Oriental Designer Rugs to look for large area rugs that I needed for my home. I found the staff to be extremely pleasant and helpful, with excellent ideas and recommendations. The rug selection was immense, but they quickly pointed me to the right area in regards to size, materials, and price. I was able to find two rugs that worked perfectly. I found the entire experience to be excellent.

I recently purchased a 11 x 14 rug from Oriental Designer Rugs and could not be more pleased. As stated by many reviewers they are a pleasure to work with and most helpful with design, logistics, pricing, etc. I had contact with both Renu and Vineet and both gave excellent customer service. They do all services associated with rugs---cleaning, repairs, sales, etc. I plan to use them in the future for my cleaning and repairs and hopefully will purchase more rugs in the future.

Our home had Custom Made Lacy Champion Carpets throughout out our home installed 30 years ago. The runner for our staircase had an 11 ft. remnant that was kept in storage for 30 years. We were unable to reach Lacey Champion in Atlanta ( out of business?); instead we searched for custom rug refinishing. This was a small job for Oriental Designer Rugs; yet, a hug project for us personally and emotionally as we are in the same house 34 years later. Our first contact was to their showroom at 4:30pm; they graciously apologized that if we sent photos of our project that evening they would not get back to that evening because they had a customer and it was closing time. I was happy someone even answered my call so late in the day. Ss, I sent my photos and details of the lacey Champion remnant and requested a quote for a runner to be made. The very next morning Renu contacted me. She quoted the job with the enthusiasm as if it was a huge job. It clearly was not. I had a price with shipping in less than 12 hours. May remnant was shipped to her shop with phone confirmation receipt. Another email to update me on condition and expected finish quality and type of finishing. I am beyond impressed at this point. The nominal charge for the work is not the point. The degree of integrity and professionalism was unexpected(based on such a small project); yet hugely noticed. The job was completed within a week and shipped back in one day (Atlanta to Birmingham). I am truly impressed. I feel I found a business with the integrity I will need in the future for my larger purchases just based on this small project. Well done Oriental Designer rugs!!!

WHITE GLOVE SERVICE! I came to know Benny (Owner) and his staff at Oriental Designer Rugs about 15 years ago and wouldn't go anywhere else for rugs! My initial experience was very, very positive! I had just moved into my new home in Atlanta that had all beautiful hardwood floors, and I was in need to just the right accent rugs. Benny offer to come to my home and consult with me on ideas. His recommendations were spot on! He brought the rugs to my home and recommended that I keep them a few days to make sure that I was happy with the look. I purchased 3 rugs, one was a custom piece (due to hallway size and length). His staff is extremely knowledgeable, and has the same customer service philosophy as Benny, which is to be sure that the customer is completely satisfied. Another thing- the rugs are very high quality. All rugs purchased are in high use area. I now have a family with children on them daily. They ALL still look as good today as the day I purchased them!! If you're in the market for quality rugs be sure to check these guys out!
