Ascension Home Contractors just completed a project on my condo including a full renovation of the kitchen, installation of new hardwood flooring, painting, and replacing the front entry door. They did an outstanding job and the finished product is beautiful. I worked directly with the owner Jimmy, and he was extremely responsive throughout the entire process via email, text, and phone from providing an estimate until after the project was completed. The quality of work was excellent. Jimmy was able to custom build many parts of the kitchen other contractors said we would not be able to do such as building an apron sink into the cabinetry and moving the location of a vent. Jimmy and his team were friendly, clean, professional, and respectful of our space as we were living in the condo throughout the renovation. I would highly recommend Ascension Home Contractors and plan to hire them again for another project.

Jimmy remolded three bathrooms for me. Two are the bathrooms were gut jobs. The third was tile and paint. Jimmy and his crew did an outstanding job. They were very neat and clean. They did not leave any debris or trash when the job was completed. My bathrooms look terrific.

Jimmy just renovated my 1909 kitchen for me, and I couldn't be happier! He and his team were very easy to work with, clean, respectful, and the results are beautiful! He definitely went above and beyond a few times too... like when my plumber (not his guy) went into my vacant apartment in the middle of the night without permission, and caused a flood into the lobby of my building (that's a completely separate review - Don't hire Patrick Griffin). As soon as Jimmy discovered what happened, he sprang into action, mitigating damages and resolving the plumbing problem himself. He is an extremely knowledgable general contractor, which is what you want when doing a home renovation - since you never know what issues might arise! I liked him so much, I'm hiring him again to redo my bathroom. Thank you, Jimmy!

Jimmy and his team dug out our front yard and installed full sized egress windows. They found us an architect to draw up plans for permits and handled the whole process with DCRA. Our project had some surprises, like pipes in the way, but Jimmy brought in a plumber and had it moved quickly. Would highly recommend!

Jimmy and Ascension Home Contractors were great! They were professional and did the work within the specified amount of time and did high-quality work. Ascension Home contractors is an excellent business that we truly appreciated the skills and talent of the workers and owner. Every detail was addressed perfectly. We had 3 jobs done primarily on the outside this past summer including a new roof, a stone walk way, and a new front door installed. After seeing the quality of the work on the outside, we hired Ascension again to renovate one of our bathrooms. All of the work was of high quality. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone!!

I received a very fair quote from Ascension Contractors for the removal of two basement window wells and some additional cinder block installation in my basement. The Ascension crew was able to start the job in a few days. They completed the work ahead of schedule and it looks great. They cleaned up the area and made me a very satisfied customer. Very professional service, great overall experience. This group is very thorough and timely. I had a bathroom completed, and I am very pleased with the final look of everything. There were some problems with my plumbing, mold on my walls and electricity that this group was able to easily rectify. Knowledgeable contractors with great work ethic. Jimmy was my main contact and he did an initial free estimate. He provided me with a contract at the start of the project, and carried everything out as outlined.
