Brenda stepped in when our designer left EA to complete decorating our new townhome.
We were very impressed that she wanted to meet us at our home to get to know us and listen to our ideas.
When she returned, she came prepared with design boards that included several options right down to paint and wall paper selections! WOW!
She is talented, knowledgeable, a great listener, and master in the field of design.
We look forward to continue working with Brenda and highly recommend her.

Brenda is a Godsend, so very different from other decorators we have used over the years. Her super power is the willingness and ability to listen. All too often, decorators and designers arrive with preconceived notions of what THEY want an area to look like. Fact is, my wife's tastes are divergent from my own. Brenda skillfully found our common ground and made our new home beautiful. In fact, though our contract with her has expired, we still seek her input on major purchases. Quit thinking about whom to use. Hire Brenda Miller.

Thanks so much for the kind words- it was such an inspiring project for me. Starting from construction to the completion of your beautiful home. My biggest reward was gaining dear new friends for life!
We had been trying to redo our living room for many years with no success. We met Brenda by chance, showed her our home, which is extensively decorated, and left her to create a new vision. She spend a week drawing up a fantastic design, suggested the chairs, rug, lamps and all the other furnishing and along with colors to blend a beautiful living room. Together we then slightly tuned that design and the colors in a partnership. Bottom line we loved it all, we disposed of all of the existing living room furniture and purchased 100% of the suggested design. Putting this into perspective we have a large 7500 square foot house home but could not arrive at a solution design until we met Brenda.
As an aside, as she walked through our home she was also able to make other suggestions to make the total house better. We are working with her now on a few of the other items identified by her. We very strongly recommend Brenda because of her positive creativity and her ability to work with a customer.

Brenda is a fantastic interior decorator. She helped us on our remodel for our Primary and Hall bathroom. She quickly responded when I reached out to her for help. She came to our house to see the bathrooms, listened to our thoughts and needs and then came back to us shortly after with photos and tile samples to help us make our best choices. She also then patiently answered all our questions and gave us her honest input on what would and wouldn’t work plus many ideas we had not thought of. She has continued to answer my questions throughout the remodel whenever I reach out to her. I highly recommend Brenda for your Interior Designer needs.

I highly recommend Brenda for interior design. We met at Ethan Allen. I knew I wanted two sofas and what style I wanted. What I didn't know was that to really pull my room together cohesively, was that I needed two side tables and a coffee table, new lamps, art, a rug, and the right fabrics. Her knowledge of texture and pattern and scale were immensely beneficial in helping me find the perfect items for my room. Every day, I think how much I love the room we created together.

Brenda did an amazing job updating my living, dining and family rooms. She completely changed the overall look and feel of the spaces while integrating furniture and window treatments I already had. Brenda is such a pleasure to work with and a highly talented designer. I really can’t say enough about Brenda. I had previously reached out to my local EA store after first having moved because I wanted a nice desk for my new home, but all their suggestions just fell short somehow. In comes COVID-19 and Brenda. Somehow, she understood what I needed, sent me three options, and voila! Her first option was exactly what I was looking for and the fabric she picked out, exactly what I wanted; in fact, I’m using said desk and chair to write this review. Testimonial to the fact that not only does it look great but functional as well. Because of this experience, I’ve continued furnishing the rest of my home with her help. She listens to her clients but knows when to step in as a designer and guide you to achieve the desired results. She helped me pick out a coffee table that I never would have chosen, however, it has become one of my favorite pieces. I love when people surprise me, in a good way. My house is definitely moving in the right direction and I couldn’t be happier.

Brenda has excellent taste and an uncanny ability to instantly read a clients taste in furnishings and color scheme. A true professional. She helped my husband and I pick out the perfect furniture to custom design our family room. The table lamp and area rug she chose are beautiful accessories and favorite pieces. We would have never found them without her help. She also brought fabrics to our home during the Pandemic so we could customize kitchen table chair upholstery to blend nicely with newly remodeled kitchen and measured and helped select the perfect table. Highly recommend. A pleasure to work with. Looking forward to consulting with Brenda on our next project.

Brenda was great to work with. I sent a chat to Ethan Allen and she responded almost immediately and offered to come to our house the next day to help us figure out how to best choose a sectional sofa to fit and match our family room. Fast forward to now and we love our new sectional.
Brenda also made some other suggestions for other pieces for the future. The best thing is how accessible and friendly she is. And she is great at what she does.

Brenda is so incredible and fun to work with! She listens superbly to her clients and helps to design with their tastes in mind BUT also helps to stretch the boundaries a bit. We redid our living room to get a more cozy, library type feel and she quickly picked up on what we were looking for and helped to work in a piano that is meaningful to our family. We loved her creativity to bring out different aspects of what we had described and provided a couple of options for us to consider. We adjusted some things but by and large didn't change too much. Also, she selected a pattern for our chairs that we NEVER would have considered in 1,000 years on our own but we love it and understand why she chose it. Also, she was responsive in follow up questions over the months after the order to help give her perspective on aspects of the room that didn't necessarily deal with the parts that she designed. When we have another remodeling effort, we would work with her in a heartbeat!

So Brenda walked into my house, took a tour and gave me the best advice ever! She was spot on with what I required and did a great job in understanding my personality, my taste, to give me the very best design options.

Brenda redesigned our master bedroom as we just love the result! We wanted to replace our bulky, black furniture with something warmer and brighter to match our buttery yellow walls. Brenda worked with us to understand the look we were going for (transitional) and pick out coordinating colors that really bring the room together. We are so pleased with our result. Even my husband commented on the new set-up!

During the process of completing a complete renovation of our kitchen and living room it became clear that we needed outside assistance with everything from wall colors, window treatments, and furniture. We had purchased furniture before from Ethan Allen so we researched each of the members of the local design team and Brenda's credentials stood out!. After an initial phone conversation Brenda made multiple visits to our home. She was diligent, willing to listen and always attentive of both my wife and my likes and dislikes. We made several visits to the store where Brenda laid out fabrics and colors often running to make changes as we desired. She didn't stop there. Even after we purchased everything she stayed in touch with us to ensure delivery was made correctly. All of our concerns were satisfied and most importantly that we were happy with the way our project turned out. If your going to do a home project don't do it without Brenda's help!!!

First time using a designer and we couldn’t be happier. My husband I are in the process of building our forever home. Neither one of us can design to save our lives. I used Brenda to decorate my living room and dinning room after moving into a new house. She was able to blend my old furniture pieces with the new pieces I bought to give me just the right look that I wanted. This was a great help to me because I did not know where to start. Also I think I saved myself from making some costly mistakes. I highly recommend Brenda and would use her again for any future decorating needs.

I met Brenda at Ethan Allen and she helped me with some questions I had about several pieces of furniture that I was looking for. She even came to my home and helped me decide on a chandelier for my dining room that is just perfect! We also got a leather recliner for our family room that looks great. She is very friendly and so nice to work with! She is very knowledgeable about design, scale, furniture, etc. I really enjoyed working with her!

Brenda was terrific. I have only corresponded with her via email because there is no Ethan Allen store in my area. She treated me as if I had walked into her store and gave me her undivided attention. She immediately answered all my questions along then way which made me feel like I had exclusive access to her. We love the 2 chairs we ordered sight unseen and will certainly contact Brenda with any future needs we may have. She is a winner1

It was a pleasure working with Brenda. She was very professional and in spite of her heavy work schedule, she responded quickly to my emails.
For our first meeting, she came to my home to assess the layout of my rooms and what my decorating taste was like. She also helped me out with furniture placement for my main rooms and where to hang a few of my wall hangings.
At the store, she gave a beautiful presentation in the way of samples for upholstery, rugs, and pillow coverings (for my large sectional), taking into consideration my personal tastes. She showed me the 2 pieces of furniture (which happened to be in the store) that I needed that would complement my other decor.
For the third meeting, she came back to my home, bringing the samples of colors/shades that we had narrowed it down to, in order to make the final decision, taking into consideration the lighting also. She was spot on. She pulled it all together beautifully and I'm very pleased. She also recommended lighting for my living room and kitchen. I couldn't have done it without her.
All in all it was an enjoyable experience and I am very pleased with the results. I would certainly recommend Brenda for interior design projects.

Ethan Allen designer, Brenda is simply amazing and excellent. She is knowledgeable of her craft and has a great eye for design. She listens to our needs to make sure all your requirements are incorporated into the designs including our budget. Her work and attention to detail are superb. She spent time with us, visited our home, and gave us great advice without any pressure. We felt very comfortable working with her and bought several excellent Ethan Allen pieces for our home. Her details in designing our curtain for family room was excellent- everyone comes to our house really amazed and ask who helped us with that. We highly recommend designing your space with her.

I have worked with Brenda to redo my living room area. She has been great. She is very professional and knowledgeable about design, color and fabric. She listens to your input and tries to work in your existing furniture to keep the expenses under control. She is easy to work with and does not make you feel pressured. We are currently working on some other areas of the house.

Brenda was very helpful from the start. She gave me some initial suggestions and let me have plenty of time to think about things. I showed her some fabrics I liked and she was very helpful to identify color combinations and fabric styles that might also interest me. Over a couple of visits to my home, she helped me refine and then decide on my final furniture, fabric, and color choices. She was very helpful through the process and never pushed me to make a decision I wasn’t ready to make. I found her very knowledgeable and easy to work with.

Working with Brenda Miller was an absolute pleasure. We were buying new furniture and needed help in placing it. She came to our home with all she needed in tow. She gave us great advice. She spent as much time as we needed to feel comfortable with our decision. Brenda is professional, yet warm and comfortable to be around. She Returned every phone call and email in a timely fashion. Brenda was courteous, attentive, and possessed a tremendous amount of knowledge about patterns, colors, and designs. I entered the store dreading having to find furnishings for a newly-purchased large condo. Brenda patiently assisted me by asking many questions and showing me many choices of styles, fabrics, and colors, all for the purpose of helping me find my style. I purchased a fantastic full living room set (sofa, chairs, coffee table, barstools, lamps, curio cabinets, paintings, etc.) and a beautiful full dining room set, all within my original budget because Brenda knew of special discounts which allowed me sizable savings. Finally, Brenda assisted me in selecting an elegant wall paint color that brought all the furnishing colors and fabrics together. She knows the interior design business, works well with us, and she is the one I will go to again to assist me with my sitting room/office space. I am extremely pleased with all my purchases and blessed to have worked with Brenda.

Brenda has been very easy to work with. She listens and then comes up with her suggestions. If you question her on what she has recommended she does not get offended, but simply explains why. She has good sense of style, color, and design ideas for placing the furniture. I have purchased quite a few things for my home recently and would use her again. I highly recommend her.

Brenda Miller is the Best designer I have ever worked with. She is very friendly, flexible (she came out on a Saturday to measure for my sofa) extremely helpful, and very very knowledgeable. I would recommend Brenda a million times over to anyone who is in need of a designer and like me doesn't even know where to start with the whole thing. I appreciate your help Brenda and hope you come visit and sit on the new sofa for tea :)

Ms. Miller responded to my on-line questions about EA chairs and fabrics. While I decided to wait on purchasing (due to budget concerns), I must say that this designer was personable, responsive, and interested in helping. She had fabric swatches sent in a timely manner, and was even able to (almost immediately) create a virtual chair photo with my chosen fabric. I really felt that I had my “own” personal designer working with me.

We first met Brenda a year ago, but remembered her as being helpful,knowledgeable and fun. Therefore, when we decided to actually buy, we went back and asked for her help. She came out to our home and listerned to our thoughts and ideas. The following week we met up and she had worked out a plan for us! Her ideas were great and most importantly she had listened - helping not only with the furniture but also with colors for fabrics and walls.

Even for me designing a new house is daunting. The choices are endless and can be daunting. Brenda Miller has been amazingly supportive since the first email. She was never pushy, always giving expert and honest advice. She worked non-stop to help me make decisions, review pictures, explore ideas and graciously accepted my comments. I love every single piece I have ordered through her. She is super happy and continues to keep in touch with me to see how I am doing. I will order more in the future and most definitely continue to work with her.

Brenda was a pleasure to work with. She was very good about listening to my needs and about capturing the design vision I had for my space. I has a few traditional pieces that I wanted to keep but wanted a more modern look so we were thinking transitional. The space she ultimately created was just as I had imagined. I am so pleased and happy with my design experience and can't wait to have friends over to show off my new space. I am truly happy with her work and glad that I selected her to design my space. Brenda Miller has been a joy to work during my renovation project. She was extremely professional, fun and knowledgeable in selecting furniture for my living room and kitchen furniture. We selected 2 couches, 4 chairs, 2 ottomans, end tables, sofa table and coffee table. Ethan Allen furniture is made well and the fabric selections are extensive. The delivery service was fabulous as well, so nice to have everything put in place by professionals. I look forward to working with her again in the very near future.

Brenda sold me two chairs from Ethan Allen, and was friendly, professional, and understanding when I wanted to change everything after the purchase was complete. I really appreciated her promptness responding to emails and her ability to get things done even on days when she was not actually working. I LOVE my new chairs!

I was in the impossible situation of down-sizing and was utterly confused about how to transition my existing furniture into the new living space. Brenda offered to come to my existing home so that she could get a sense of my style and to see what furniture I had. She then accompanied me to my new but smaller home and made so many good recommendations about furniture I would want to keep. At the end of the day I really only needed a sofa for my great room and a bed for my master suite and her choices really took into account my personal style.

Brenda has provided me with a vision of my new home which will make it extraordinary!! I did't know how to incorporate my "treasures" into the new condo, but with Brenda on the job it is coming together perfectly! She has a wonderful talent for furniture placement and is a genius with color and scale. We are going slowly to match my budget and also to let things settle in before adding to the mix, and there is never any pressure - just a genuine interest in this project. She did a very small project for us, picked several materials for small chair, although the job was small she took the time to listen , she redid the chair is a very timely manner. I plan on calling on her to help in family room, very professional, unlike another decorator I used.

I have been buying my furniture and accessories from the Miller House for years. Brenda has always been very friendly yet professional. Her store has that warm and welcoming feeling. Brenda has been kind enough several times to come to my house to direct me as to where to place a piece when I didn't have room for something I couldn't live without. I live about 45 miles away from her store and she has never failed to rescue me and her ideas have always been dead on! Just today I opened the September issue of COUNTRY SAMPLER and there she was in a nine page article entitled Designing Woman showcasing her beautiful home. I think this article says it all.

My design tastes are changing. I love country antiques but not mauve hearts. Recently I have been drawn to Pottery Barn items. Brenda Came out to my house and looked at how our house was decorated and listened to what we wanted. When our new furniture arrived she came out and installed everything. She used items that I already had. Some antiques and other decor items. The family room looks great. Brenda always has great ideas for design and she truly listens to what you are saying. I am now working with her on my dinning and living room.

Brenda and Kevin Miller are interior design professionals, easy to work with and knowledgeable. They assisted me in selecting furniture and made fabric recommendations that met a number of constraints for a small sunroom. Brenda helped me with a partial kitchen renovation. She has great design ideas - she can look at something and right away come up with options and ideas for a new/updated look, something I have a hard time doing! She was readily available whenever I had questions or needed help. My husband and I have purchased numerous pieces of furniture from The Miller House over the last seven years and are always impressed with the quality and beauty of the furniture. Brenda has assisted us with ideas we have had regarding decorating and is extremely knowledgeable and professional when dealing with our desires. She and her husband, Kevin, have a vast knowledge of professional decorating and always seem to pick up exactly what we are attempting to accomplish and the best way to do so. Moving into a new home with an open concept floorplan, presented us with a challenge to achieve a coordinated color scheme. Brenda Miller did an excellent job of blending paint colors, window treatments, upholstery fabric, and decorative accents for our home. We liked that she presented three different color schemes for us to choose from, all reasonable priced. The results exceeded our expectations and we love the new look! Brenda is professional, personable, and easy to work with.
