On returning to the Ottawa area in 1982, Bruce worked for an Ottawa sprinkler systems contractor, where he training in lawn sprinkler sales, and also in the design & installation of landscape lighting systems. Then, after a recession in 1987 forced the contractor to close his Ottawa office, GreenScape.ca was born. As GreenScape.ca grew, and more and more of his loyal clients asked for other landscape enhancing services, Bruce launched a landscape lighting systems division, giving his clients access to elegant landscape lighting systems, as well as colorful, professionally designed and installed Christmas lighting and décor services. While the landscape lighting division has always been successful, for the most part, it had always been more or less a sideline to sprinkler systems… until a about 10 years ago, that is. That's when the general interest in landscape lighting systems and Christmas lighting systems began to grow, coincident with new technologies and wonderful, professional training programs that let Bruce's team move to a new level of excellence in the industry.
