Joan and Bob really came through for us! Our original kitchen cabinet delivery ran into major supply chain issues due to the pandemic and we needed a custom kitchen designed, built and installed in a hurry. They arranged to meet us shortly after we initially contacted them. They were able to design, provide renderings and supply material samples really quickly. We finalized our design and contract in days and they kept the kitchen on track without sacrificing our full home remodel project timeline. Joan and Bob are responsive, accommodating and were with us every step of the way. The finished kitchen is just gorgeous and exactly what we envisioned. We recommend them highly.

Before my wife and I placed an offer on our first home, we knew we’d have to immediately redo the outdated, non-functional kitchen. We soon realized after entering into contract, however, that we didn’t know the first thing about a renovation - not just when it came to the design and layout, but also what to look for in cabinets, how to find the right contractor who could help us take down a wall, where to get appliances, tile, lighting, knobs, etc. Needless to say, we were disappointed to learn that watching countless hours of HGTV had not made us experts. Only a few days later, Joan and Bob had toured the space, outlined their vision, linked us up with a world-class contractor and pledged to quarterback the whole process while we were living elsewhere with our toddler during the entirety of the renovation. We just recently moved in after all of the work wrapped up and can’t even believe that we’re living in the same space. Joan and Bob’s design was executed to perfection, with the two of them working seamlessly on-site with our contractor, and the result has been transformational for our home. We have already recommended Joan and Bob to several neighbors thinking about kitchen renovations and consider ourselves incredibly lucky to have been able to rely on their guidance through our own.

My husband Carl and I decided that 2018 would be the year for us to renovate our 19 year-old kitchen. Joan Bigg was referred to us by my sister who is a neighbor and friend of Joan and her husband Bob. We all live in the same community. After reviewing Joan’s website and meeting with her and Bob about our kitchen vision which included some structural changes and the installation of a large window to take advantage of a Hudson River view, Carl and I knew we needed to look no further. We met Joan as we embarked on our first major remodel, which required removing a wall and covering a window. We'd never done more than paint and wallpaper before! Joan's professional eye and easy-going manner put us at ease. She gave us choices and recommendations, and kept a close eye on the work, stopping in often. Most valuable: the 3D computer renderings that helped us envision our project and took away the scariness of this big commitment. Another big help was when Joan went shopping with me, turning an overwhelming task into a fun, productive outing. We never felt like she was taking over, but we felt guided by her creativity and experience. She took our wacky ideas, refined them and made them work! The result is a beautiful kitchen and dining room combination we've dreamed about for years. Finally we can both cook at the same time without arguing or bumping into each other!
