My company has had the pleasure of being the primary AV & Automation technology subcontractor for NSM Construction for the last several years. NSM Construction is one of the top building professionals I have ever had the privilege to work with. Their exceptional attention to detail, focus on quality construction, high quality products, maintaining budget/schedule, ensures customer satisfaction.

We hired NSM to build our 5700 sq ft dream vacation house. The home is very architecturally unique, and each room was designed with tons of custom and handmade features. This project was no small task and required incredible attention to detail to make it come to life. I am thrilled to say we could not be happier with the results - it is absolutely incredible and exceeds all expectations. The NSM team of artisans and craftsmen turned out room after room of incredible workmanship that truly reflects the vision we had in mind. But it's not just the craftsmen that make NSM work so well - it starts at the top. Mark Neave is very involved in all aspects of his clients' projects, and he hires wonderful project managers who get knee-deep on site, and constantly track the budget. They were always very accessible, amenable to changes, and delivered as few surprises as possible. Unlike many people who have horror stories of uncontrolled budgets or frustrating delays, we had none of those issues. Did we go over budget? Yes, but it was because once we saw how amazingly the home was coming along, we expanded the scope of the project. Did we have delays? Never. The extremely well organized team moved every aspect of the project along at a very satisfying clip, even when temperatures dropped to 14 below zero. In all, it was a wonderful experience, and we'd happily build another home with NSM.

After interviewing several other contractors, we chose NSM Construction to build our home in Martis Camp / Truckee. NSM Construction, including Mark Neave and his entire team, has been an outstanding company to work with. Their knowledge of all aspects of building, their professionalism, focus on quality and attention to detail, and their ability to work within a budget and in a timely manner was beyond compare. Of equal importance was their attention to our thoughts and what we wanted in a home. In short, they listened. As a result, we now have our dream mountain home, a home built with integrity. This was our third home construction and it is by far the best built home, was the best experience, and was the most fun we have ever had with a build. NSM Construction is a builder of high end homes. I found the people there to be very nice to deal with, starting with the owner. They are very professional and detailed in the way they handle the accounting for your construction budget. They seem to go the extra mile to come up with an accurate estimate. The quality of their work was very good. They have a big crew that can handle large projects. I plan to use them on another job.

NSM made building our "cabin in the woods" a joy, every step of the way. We were an eight hour drive away, so we relied on them to keep us well informed. They did so with weekly photos, phone calls and personal care that instilled trust in their entire team. Our cabin, although many people giggle when we call it a cabin, was built with professional integrity and in a timely manner. They continue to take care of the many "little" things that come up with a second home. They are responsive and always willing to help with anything we need. Would I build with them again....ABSOLUTELY!!!

Mark Neave, Zach Bierwolf, Isaiah Shaw and the entire NSM team did a great job in constructing our new home. The workmanship is of the highest quality, they communicated well throughout the entire project regarding timing and cost, managed the subs and coordinated well with the architect and designer. They offered options to accomplish our goals. We trusted them completely. Since the project has been completed, they have continued to support us in completing the punch list, and they are standing by their work. We would highly recommend NSM for new, high end home construction.

We cannot recommend NSM Construction any more highly. From the moment we met with them regarding the construction of our vacation home, until well after it's completion, we received a level of service we have never experience in the construction industry. Mark Neave and his office made building our dream vacation home in Lake Tahoe a painless and wonderful experience. They were honest and trustworthy. Willing to work with our architect and designer. Offered savings options on the building process. Kept us uptodate and most importantly on budget. Given that we lived 300 miles away, we always felt that our home was in good hands.
