North Shore Carpentry & Construction is a North Vancouver, B.C. based renovation, finish carpentry, and general contractor. We have been specializing in all aspects of renovations, indoors and out, since 1999. We take real pride in our work and doing the best job possible for our clients. Together with our team of subcontractors and suppliers, we strive to make your project as seamless as possible. Should we need to subcontract, we have built a team of professional tradespeople which are used on a regular basis, which include electricians, plumbers, roofers etc. As a growing company, we rely on strong relationships with our trades and suppliers to make sure we get the best materials, best skilled workers and best prices possible. NS Carpentry Inc. holds liabiliy insurance, is WorkSafeBC certified and carries a Municipal Licensing Certifcate.

I hired this company to renovate a bedroom. Add extra insulation to walls and ceiling as well as sound proof insulation to the ceiling and party wall. They were all professional and quick and clean. I had confidence in their abilities and that my apartment would be left clean when I arrived home.

We have used North Shore Carpentry to do three projects for us - kitchen/powder room, the upper floor master and secondary bathrooms and our deck, (the latter two were both major jobs), and we would use them again without hesitation. They are extremely professional, highly skilled and their work ethic has exceeded our expectations each time. They work hard to ensure we are satisfied each step of the way and we always feel like we are a team working together for the best outcome. In addition, as workers on site, they are always very considerate of our needs during the disruptions, both inside and out, and at the end of each day and week, have made every attempt to limit the inconveniences of living through a renovation. Having pets, we really appreciate that. We highly recommend them for any project!

The end product was amazing, the whole family loves the space now. They met and exceeded our expectations in workmanship and professionalism.

Les did an amazing job on our kitchen and living room, turning a tired and cramped space into something beautiful and much more liveable. He offered great suggestions and ideas to make our place look great. He started and finished all the work on time, and was outstanding at cleaning up at the end of each day so that our lives were disrupted as little as possible. We would highly recommend his services!

Les Brown has renovated and remodeled our older West Vancouver home extensively over the past 15 years. Not only has Les completed the jobs we requested, he has provided us with design and planning ideas. Les has always exceeded our expectations in all areas of our projects. Cost estimates and time frames have been accurate. The tradesmen that Les contracts are also a very high caliber. We would highly recommend Les Brown for all your building and renovation needs.

We had the entire main floor of our home renovated including a new custom kitchen. The work was done to the highest professional quality, on time and within our budget. Les was readily available to provide in depth knowledge and advice on all our options, and accommodated our needs to the extent feasible. The work space was always tidy and well organized at the end if each day. Les took the stress away from us and managed all his subcontractors effectively. It was a real pleasure for us to have Les onboard and we would highly endorse his services for any prospective customers looking to do home renovations. We will definitely be using Les again in the future. We love our new kitchen, top stuff!

I was referred to LB Carpentry by my brother in law, for the bathroom reno that I was undertaking, and after it was finished, bought him a case of beer for making the recommendation. Les, and LB Carpentry are consummate professionals. There were significant challenges with this bathroom, but on every occasion when a problem was encountered, there were solutions presented, and we moved forward. The project was completed on budget, a day early, and to the highest standards.
