We recently added a complete Bathroom on the upper floor of our home.Several challenges made the addition quite complex on our 20 year old home. A new sewer connection required locating a hidden main sewer line and accessing it by drilling through our existing tile floor and thick concrete slab. In addition, new hot and cold water lines, and vent lines had to be threaded through existing walls and floors. Other Contractors had turned the job down as being too complex and time consuming for them. Following a friend's recommendation we contacted Paul Rechichar of Platinum Building and Remodeling in Port Orange. Rather than telling us why the job "couldn't be done" as prior contractors had done, Paul brought in his expert Plumbers and between them planned out exactly how the job could be done. He provided us with a very reasonable estimate and starting date. Paul is a delightful guy to work with, as were his subcontractors, who all were most anxious to please us. All worked expertly, neatly and cleaned up thoroughly at the end of each day. The job was finished on-time and on-budget and my wife and I are delighted with the final result. I have used Platinum Builders for three projects over the past two years: demolition and complete remodeling of the kitchen, master and guest baths, including modifications to provide for handicapped accessibility. The trades are all licensed and the crew was meticulous in cleaning up each day. In addition, they were extremely resourceful in solving problems that arose from latent conditions. In all three cases the projects were priced fairly and well executed. I live in a high rise condominium and the project manager had to coordinate almost daily with the building staff for access, elevator use, and disposal of construction refuse. Each morning the builder called me to let me know when the crew would arrive, and sure enough, they arrived on schedule, told me what they planned to do and when they expected to finish for the day. They ended as promised and told me the plans for the next day before they left. If any delays were expected, the owner always called to work out next steps. For their dependability, fairness, and quality of work, I highly recommend Platinum Builders for any construction projects.

We have lived through multiple remodel projects in several homes over the years, and we used Platinum Builders for a recent major remodel of our kitchen and living room and master bathroom remodel where we gutted the interior of the house. We were introduced to Paul Rechichar at Platinum Builders by a neighbor who had used him. He is absolutely the best contractor/builder we have ever worked with. He and his crew are incredibly knowledgeable and capable, and when there is a new technology, he -- unlike so many that I have come across in Central Florida -- is not skeptical. He researches it and will discuss the pros and cons and then give it a try. Any issues that came up were immediately taken care of. He was always accessible, and if he had to go out of town during the project, he made sure we knew who to contact in case a problem arose. Paul is very conscientious, and wanted a perfect result as much as we did. He is so calm and easy going and has a great attitude all around. A very professional contractor, knowledgeable about products to be installed and has a great attitude. His entire crew displayed that same professional attitude throughout the project. Started project on the promised date and actually completed the work several days prior to the agreed upon completion date. Always addressed questions and concerns promptly.
