Courtney did a wonderful job on our master bedroom/bathroom remodel. We embarked on the project without a design professional and soon realized we were heading down the wrong path. Courtney came in, found her way through our tastes/personalities, and pulled everything together to produce a wonderful master suite that we truly enjoy every day.

Courtney is amazing! She helped us with our entire first floor overhaul, from hardwood floor stain colors and furniture to paint colors and accessories. She is very organized and professional with wonderful design ideas. She listens to your input, is easy to work with and respects a budget. We look forward to working with her again to help update our second floor.

Courtney and her team are phenomenal. We have used them for many projects large and small. They are creative, intelligent, professional, knowledgeable and skilled in all aspects of design. Courtney helped me with a full gut renovation of a lake front house that was a wreck when I bought it. The house needed everything including a new kitchen and two and a half new baths. Her assistance was invaluable to me especially with the selection and design of tile for the kitchen and bathrooms and the complete color palette for paint. The choices are daunting and Courtney made an overwhelming task manageable. The results speak for themselves as does the many compliments from all who have visited. I can't say enough about Courtney's sense of aesthetics, professionalism, reliability, responsiveness and communication - she was always readily available by phone, text or email. I recommend her highly.

It was an absolute pleasure to work with Courtney Kleeman. From start to finish, Courtney was organized, timely and completely professional. Redecorating our master bedroom suite could have been incredibly disruptive, but Courtney made sure it was a smooth transition. I loved that Courtney was flexible and tried to “re-purpose”, as she would say, whenever possible, and was thrilled to be able to use a few old, but sentimental, pieces that I didn’t think would fit in the new room. Courtney and I spent a lot of time talking and getting to know each other beforehand, and by the time the project began, she knew exactly what I was looking for. Courtney is particularly talented when it comes to selecting and presenting samples in an organized and manageable fashion, and she pays close attention to every single detail. I valued and depended on her guidance every step of the way, which was instrumental in the success of the project’s final outcome. Courtney’s biggest asset, though, may be her assistant, Michael, who went above and beyond the task to make sure every installation detail was completed to perfection. We cannot thank Courtney enough for her vision and follow through on our beautiful new master suite!

Courtney has helped us several times but most recently completely over hauling our living room. She was easy to work with whether selecting fabrics, furniture or accompanying me on shopping trips. She is professional on time and always accessible by phone or text. Our living room looks great and has provided us with a relaxing place to entertain or be with family. We will definitely use her again!!

Courtney is a rare design gem! She is talented, professional and responsive. Over the past 5 years she has helped us renovate a modern 1969 beach cottage (basement, bathroom, kitchen) and update our traditional Connecticut home (foyer, living room, dining room, kitchen fireplace mantel design etc.) She has wonderful subcontractors who work very well with her and her clients. Courtney has completed several projects for me from small to large. She has several contemporary photos on her website, but we have a Adirondack style cottage on Candlewood Lake, and she was really great in her ideas to keep the rustic look and still really update. Our tiny little kitchen turned into a masterpiece after she made some simple suggestions about moving a pantry and it's wall that obstructed the view of the lake. Now the kitchen has magnificent lake views. The old yellow cabinets she replaced with great quality wood cabinets and a beautiful silestone countertop that looks like a polished piece of rock retrieved from the bottom of the lake. It's stunning!! She was available every step of the way and was able to work with the wickedy wackedy uneven floors and ceilings of this 90 year old lake cottage to make everything look perfect. She also created a fantastic powder room with a lake feel (river rock pebbled tile on the floors and wall with a great vanity and amazing paint colors. The smallest project was the first. The day we moved in, she met me with all my furniture and artwork and helped me set up the interior to make it functional, comfortable and beautiful using the pieces I already had. Courtney has amazing taste and ideas. She can work in any budget and make things stunning. Her contractors respect her and work hard for her. Everything was smooth and easy.

Courtney Kleeman designed and oversaw the installation of our new kitchen from the rip out phase all the way to the final touches such as the window treatments. We were very impressed with Courtney's professionalism every step of the way. Her expertise is endless from the layout of appliances and cabinets that would be most conducive to our space, placement of lighting fixtures both in the ceiling and under the cabinets, thinking outside the box and creating a mudroom in a space we never would have imagined. It all ties in beautifully. In addition, she ALWAYS was accessible via her cell phone especially during our emergency phone calls with crew members in our home and they needed clarification on placement of critical items (for example; light placement) Since I was very particular regarding the colors of textiles and window treatments, Courtney included me in the process and we even went out shopping together. In this economy, Courtney was always conscientious of where our money was being spent--did not want to waste our money or our time. We live in our kitchen and thoroughly enjoy every time we step into this wonderful, warm, classy, very welcoming kitchen to cook, eat, read, have family conversations. Courtney Kleeman recently completed a bathroom renovation for me. Her work was creative and professional. I am extremely satisfied with the result. The project involved total demolition of the bathroom, but kept the same basic footprint. Previously a children’s bathroom, it needed an update for guests. I wanted two farm sinks and a bathtub that featured a shower with a frameless half door. Courtney reviewed my wish list criteria and budget and came back with suggestions. From a creative standpoint, she grasped my likes & dislikes and offered a design that was unique. At the same time, she made sure that the design fit with the style & atmosphere in the rest of the house. The outcome was something I could not have envisioned. The Caesarstone Quartz countertop was perfect for the Cherry cabinetry and Limestone floor tile. In addition, the backsplash and shower/tub accents complemented the colors and provided an interesting texture (“Crackled Mosaic glass”). It was a pleasure working with Courtney because she kept open communications via in-person visits, telephone calls, and email. She was flexible to work with my contractor and the project was on budget. The bulk of the renovation was done in 6 weeks with minimal impact on our home life. I would definitely recommend Courtney Kleeman Design to someone who was considering a home renovation project!
