Two separate appraisals were recently made on my home. The appraisers, on each occasion raved about the trim work Ken Nielson, has done in my home. One even exclaimed that he had been to countless homes just that day and has never seen finer work anywhere.
Ken has done cabinetry, a gorgeous floating fireplace mantel, new doors within and to the outside of my home, stair railing, recessed cabinetry in a wall, crown molding, base molding, wainscoting, and has expertly dealt with some dry rot repairs needed to the floors. He even did an artistic glass tile job on an old patio table that I was about to throw out. He installed my old kitchen cabinets in the garage and did it so creatively and well that it's another thing everyone raves about. I wanted to have a nice trim around some of my old florescent light fixtures and now some people wish they had done the same and not gone to the cans when they upgraded. Ken also has done custom made furniture and remade pieces for me. He also made shutters for the outside of my house.
Ken is always on time. Works hard and fast, and to me, his prices are very reasonable for the high quality you end up with. I am just sorry he moved too far away; so if you are up there in Washington where he lives now, don't hesitate to call him! You are very lucky to have him. He has done work for me in California for over 20 years on so many projects that the "How much did the project cost?" question below would be hard to evaluate. Sincerely, Susan Newcomb
