Redecorating is another fun and less costly option. In this process we utilize your existing home furnishings to create a fresh, new look. If you are looking to remodel, we will work with local contractors in updating your floor plan. Then, I will assist you in your material selections for each room, in order to create continuity throughout your home. If you have children, it is fun to involve them in the process of creating their personal space. Children find a sense of pride when they are involved in the planning phase and get to see themselves reflected in their new space! We highly recommend Nicole. She did an exceptional job helping us rearrange a variety of rooms in our home. This included placement of furniture, art, and grouping of our accent pieces. This was more challenging than one might think, as we have a very eclectic collection of items that we have gathered over the past 35 years, with little regard to style or type. We have antiques, Southwestern, Asian and contemporary furniture. She created a flow in our home that enables us to use and enjoy every room, unlike before. She also made recommendations on lighting and other furniture additions that would further enhance our social and entertaining areas, while also keeping in mind our desired budget. Overall a very pleasant and enlightening experience.

We are so thankful for Nicole's help in planning our kitchen remodel. She chose flooring that both worked brilliantly with our existing trim and coordinated well with the new space. We love the paint color and Nicole's eye for tying it all together with the fine details of counter selection and space planning. We are so thankful for her and highly recommend her!

I have used Nicole Decor and Design twice now for her decorating expertise. Both times she listened to my ideas and we took a collaborative approach to redecorating my home. Nicole is highly creative and has a keen eye for color and furniture placement to pull a color scheme and a room together. The result is always spectacular. Nicole also has vendors that she recommends who are excellent at their craft. Nicole is more than willing to work within the client's budget. She wants you to be happy with the result and not feel like you have overpaid for the items that will dramatically change the look and feel of your home. I would highly recommend Nicole as an excellent interior designer!

Master bedroom. Updating the bedding paint ac

Nicole is truly talented when it comes to interior design and decorating. I contacted Nicole last year and she helped decorate the new home we had just moved into. My mother-in-law was a painter and we have many of her paintings. Nicole was able to find just the right place in our home for each painting. She works with you, and the items you currently own, to create an environment that’s “you”. She also makes recommendations for new items and pieces and will even go with you to shop! She can work within all budgets - from the bargain seeker like me to high-end homes. I was blessed to see a couple of other homes she’s decorated and each one is uniquely beautiful! Nicole is professional, prompt, enthusiastic, and genuine. When I was ready to make changes to my master bedroom this month, I reached out to Nicole and we quickly got to work. The project is evolving into a beautiful space I will be able to enjoy for many years! Next up is my 16-year olds bedroom. She can’t wait to get started working with Nicole!!

Nicole was extremely helpful. She was able to guide us through decisions about how to best use the different spaces within our home, how to incorporate differing styles, and how to utilize my partner's photographs into our decor, while also providing the perfect space for us to play instruments, listen to music, or just chill out. Nicole's ability to make our home feel calming during the pandemic, when part of it was being used at all hours for a home office, was a challenge (especially because we do not have a large space). She met this challenge well. We will definitely call Nicole again for both large and small projects.

We hired Nicole to help us remodel the house we recently purchased. The home needed a major cosmetic facelift and we needed help getting started. She quickly assessed things and provided recommendations that were practical, affordable and stylish. She was especially good at listening and understanding our goals and then with a keen eye for detail giving us ideas for every room in the house. We were really satisfied with the results and believe this would have been much more difficult without Nicole's help.

I am so impressed with how much I suddenly enjoy being in and working in my yard thanks to Nicole's encouragement. Nicole was the first person to walk in my yard and dream with me instead of telling me how hideous it was. She listened to my needs and understood my vision for the space... then she looked around for ways to use what I already had, and made recommendations for economical ways to acquire things I might still need. Nicole kicked our yard into gear in ways I hadn't been able to manage on my own in six years!
