If you want a company passionate about log construction, Nicola Logworks is it! It was such a pleasure working with John & Ingrid. They guided us through the entire process, from giving us advice in the planning, design, budgeting & logging phase, to construction in their work yard, transporting the log package to our home site, and finally, to erecting our beautiful log home. We found John & team to be enthusiastic about our project, highly knowledgeable, patient with all our questions and, most of all, fun to work with! Their service was top notch every step of the way.

It was a fantastic experience working with John , Ingrid and the folks at Nicola LogWorks. They are the nicest people. They began by producing CAD drawings to ensure all the logs, timbers and SIP roof panels fit perfectly. The craftsmanship was impeccable . John walked us through the whole process and we were able to see the progress in their yard , months before it was ready for the site. This was our first log home and John was very helpful in showing us what needed to be done ( we built it ourselves ). With only John and one other employee , plus our crew of 4 , the whole log and timber frame went up only 6 days. We did our research and learned that John is one of the most knowledgable people on the log home industry. We would highly recommend Nicola LogWorks to anyone thinking of building a log home. John was an essential, hands-on member of the project team and a pleasure to work with. He possesses the wide range of skills necessary to operate at the elite-level of timber fabricators in Canada and the US. John Boys from Nicola Log works is extremely knowledgeable in the log, timber frame building world. I have worked in several of his homes & his homes are nothing short of wonderful to be able to work in.
