Designer Floors by Nickel Tile

The tile installed by Nickel Tile in the two large showers of my custom designer house was defective, of inferior quality, or damaged by installation. The installed tile was misaligned and not spaced properly. There is significant lippage on the floors and lippage on the walls, There are jagged cut edges from the tile saw, and there are many chips in the tile. There are crowned (raised) areas and sunken areas. Water puddles in areas – especially the sunken areas and wide grout areas near floor/wall joints. The Corian thresholds are scratched, stained, (and loose in the guest bath). The Grout lines are of uneven width and irregular depth. The grout is bumpy and patched areas are visible. There are many pinholes and chunks of debris in the grout. There are many differences in the shades of the grout. There is excess grout in many areas, especially most corners. Most of the grout in the corner joints is cracked.

We are very pleased with our experience with Designer Floors By Nickel Tile. Their selection of tiles for our backsplash area in the kitchen were beautiful. Our salesman,Jason, was helpful and knowledgeable. We are so pleased with the installation and how beautiful it looks. We will go back again.

After shopping several flooring companies my wife and I decided that Designer Floors by Nickel Tile was the one we were most comfortable with. Our first project was to replace all the vinyl flooring in the wet areas of our home with porcelain tiles. The job took 4+ days. They removed the toilets, dishwasher, washer, dryer, stove and refrigerator. Everything they moved was installed back in place properly and in a timely manner. The crew was skillful, polite, clean and professional. Shortly after the tile work was completed we decided to replace the wall-to-wall carpet in the living/dining area with laminated hardwood flooring. Again we shopped and found Designer Floors by Nickel Tile to offer a quality product at a reasonable cost. It was a different crew to install the wood flooring and they too completed the job to the highest standard. I worked in the service business for many years and know that there is no better advertisement than a happy customer. The staff at Designer Floors by Nickel Tile always made me feel like a valued customer providing service that was tailored to my needs. If I were to do it all again I wouldn’t change a thing.
