We spoke with Nick Dardalis at the Grand Designs show at the NEC. Nick was hands down the best independent adviser I’ve ever spoken to…about anything. He gave us some excellent explanations on what to look out for in terms of performance and aesthetics of aluminium products, and who in the market uses similar or different systems. He followed up afterwards with some excellent emails with links to different brands that might suit our needs, and also suppliers in our local area. Subsequently, I have read a number of the articles on their website, and they provide a really good balanced perspective.

Fantastic response from Nick on the minefield that is sliding /bifolds /profiles - his reply was very detailed and prompt , impartial and i now feel armed with information that will help me major the right decision - so important when your spending ££’s .

I've been so confused about how to achieve the look I'm after, and going round in circles with various window/door companies, trying to get away from the huge chunks of plastic currently around my windows. I didn't expect an email to a company found through a Google search to really help - but I was desperate, so I tried. I'm SO glad I did. Finally I have clear explanations from ATS of where I've been going wrong, exactly what I'm looking for, and a list of local companies that might be able to provide it! The response has excelled my expectations and I feel as if I'm finally inching closer to a home with which I'll be happy and comfortable: thank you.

Client needed a new Lean to conservatory but we were getting bogged down with companies only wanting to supply and not install .we were also layman in what was required Nick Dardais from the Aluminium federation was excellent and gave us a few contacts. His information was so helpful and straightforward that I would advise anyone whether a homeowner or Trade to contact him

An excellent informative website, which is exactly what you need when researching bifold doors. To anyone planning bifolds, I recommend looking at all the doors you see as you go to shops and work etc. and note the brands. Then you can get all the inside information from aluminiumtradesupply.

What a fantastic website. Every page is crammed with useful information that de-mystified the world of sliding doors for me. I suspect it will do the same whether you want bifolds, windows or doors for that matter. In totally impartial language, with always useful breakdowns of what seems like every manufacturer on the planet. And that is even before the expert guidance provided to specific questions I posted. Absolutely invaluable guide to replacing our pre-loved timber doors. Thank you Nick.
