If you are looking for a spec home this is it. If you are looking for a custom built home - Run as far as you can from these guys!. Lots of problems through the entire build poor communication with work crews , had issues to the very end when they ( owner Jim Ayers ) Failed to honor our home warranty. ( dry wall cracks and nail pops all over the place. No Forman on sight or project lead. Lacking process – poor planning and counselling during 1st time build process. Got next to know help making decisions. The crews that came didn’t bother to look at the drawings they continue to do things as if it were building a spec home. You will pay for all the screw ups these guys make during the build. I ended up buying all the wood flooring, ceiling fans, light fixtures , floor tile , all the vanities and plumbing fixtures, garage doors, and even all my own kitchen appliance , even the kitchen sink all out of pocket. AND I still ended up being 80 k over budget ?? ( got robbed ) and ended up with no money left over from our $ 500 k build budget for land scaping, or a drive way. We modified the drawings 3 times ( Making the house smaller each time ) every time we went to have a meeting we were told the same price $500 K. We kept being told we were on budget at several times so we didn’t worry . Initially we were told 30k over, the month after that we were told 50k over and in the end it came out to 80K over. Very disappointed with owner and company I expected more from them .

This was a new home build project - our 5th in our life time. The overall experience was exceptional. We want to shout out Mandy Stairs - Our interior designer. An extremely, fulfilling and low stress experience. Exceeded expectations. We knew what we liked, but had a difficult time articulating. Mandy was professional, knowledgeable, innovative and patient with us. Once she figured our likes and dislikes, she got us at the level of discussion that proved to be highly productive. Always cognizant of our budgets and always presented options for our consideration. Always willing to do more research if something wasn't just right for us. Never was she constraining or forceful with us. She always listened first. This project was no small task. She worked the whole house interior and exterior design with us. My wife and I spent decades thinking about this project during our many moves and home constructions. Once we settled on our retirement location, building our dream house was our goal. Mandy proved to be the variable that made this house our home. Without question, I'd go back to her, and New Pointe Builders, again and would recommend her and the company to anyone. A true pro, easy to work with, caring for the end product, top shelf quality results! Being in the house for over a year now, we could not be happier!

An excellent company, with personal attention to homeowners and details. Jim is patient and understanding of difficult decisions. He is able to help keep the budget under control by carefully assessing all components of the project and offering options for spending control. All of his subcontractors are professional, friendly, respectful, and caring. One could not choose a better company in the area if your desire is a flawless experience building a home of your own!

We have had New Pointe Builders on two kitchen remodels and one bathroom remodel. They've always been responsive, timely and deliver the highest quality work. Would always use them for my projects.
