Todd Burton designed and created a 10 foot sculpture called "Flowering" made of steel and bronze and then contacted us because he knew we were looking for something with this look and size for our outside front entrance circle. We were then able to go to his studio to work with him to get the final look we desired. He put a finish on it so all the pieces looked like they had aged together in a copper patina. He completed it within our short deadline and delivered it and helped install it. It is a beautiful sculpture and we enjoy it differently every season. Todd is a passionate artist willing to work with you to get the look you want while keeping his flair and distinctiveness within the piece.

My wife and and I were creating a park like retreat with two Koi ponds in our back yard. In the planning process I was looking for a unique approach to a fire pit. I litterally spent hours on the web and Houz in particular to look for the perfect solution. Fairly early in my search I found a picture of Tod Burton's oriental based fire pit that knocked me off my seat. I knew this was the one but kept searching wanting to find an option that could be better. There was none. I started to communicate with Tod to get an understanding of the options and what types of steel he recommended. He was very helpful in describing the different types of steel options and how they aged. We elected to go with a steel base that is used for girders that will age to look like copper, which is happening as we speak. The bowl is stainless steel and beautiful. It is certainly a magnificent piece of art but also a great functional fire pit that enables people to socialize around the fire. It is a true heirloom and we will pass it on to our siblings. Counting shipping costs we spent around 5 grand but is worth every penny. We had initially thought of doing the traditional dig the pit and form it up with brick or stone but this is light years better

We met with Todd Burton from New House Arts to discuss making and installing a railing for the front steps to our house. Our neighbor had commissioned Todd to design a railing for their front steps and we loved their railing. We wanted something that was functional but also complimented our home. At our initial meeting Todd asked us what we were looking for (style and materials) and then made some very helpful suggestions. After agreeing on the basic style and materials Todd suggested that we trust him to come up with the details of a railing that he was confident we would love. He did...and we did. We now have a beautiful railing that looks like it is part of our home. And we also have a magnificent piece of art to greet our guests. Todd is an artist who takes great pride in his work. We would highly recommend Todd.

A few years ago we asked Todd to make us a 6ft+ long wood topped desk. He designed one with metal legs, his signature rosette rivets and patina'd copper back and shelves. Gorgeous! A few years later we decided to separate the desk into 2 pieces and add on to each one to make 2 separate desks. This required matching the wooden tops with 2 new pieces and making more legs and rosettes. FLAWLESS! Looks like it was all made the same day not YEARS apart. Our desk was personally designed, delivered and assembled by Todd in a timely manner. We love it we use it everyday! I could think of a million more things I would like him to design for us!

I am the proud owner of over a dozen of Todd Burton's metal art sculptures ( wall pieces, tables, and assorted free standing sculptures) His work is outstanding and affordable. I've adorned my house and office, and have had a couple of larger psychologically provocative works installed on the grounds of a healthcare center where I work. Have 8 or 9 original pieces of Todds' and 3 large commission pieces. Our home was designed and built in 1956 by Russell Bar Williamson. Todd's style fits well within our contemporary home. We started working with Todd a few years after moving in 1995, and he recently finished another commission piece this summer. We have his work inside and outside our home. His recent project was a shade structure and dinning room table for our paito. Todd has a gift of taking ideas or suggestions and creating a project that fits your style and needs. Professional and extremely creative -- there is no one out there like Todd!!
