Do not hire Bowcutt's flooring! We hired them to do a $10,000 tile job, on a home we just purchased in Sandy. We had nothing but problems and we still have tiles coming up all over the house. Dustin Bowcutt refuses to fix the remaining issues stating "it is not necessary to fix problems that might happen in the future", so I had to hire an inspector to inspect the job and assess the issues left. The upstairs floor was not secured properly and we are going to have problems for many years to come. We might have to redo the entire job! I was very nice and I expect a company to honor thier work, but Dustin is young and does not understand what it means to have integrity. I hired a new flooring company to fix all the remaining issues and I don't have enough matching tile to complete this job. I am completely shocked at how this went down. I have had a lot of contractors over the years and this is by far the worst experience I have EVER had. Not one of the contractors refused to fix their poor quality of work (NOT ONE). I guess there is a first for everything! It took Bowcutt's Flooring two months to complete less than 1,000 square feet of tile and Dustin started putting the blame on us in the end. I am truly amazed at how terrible this supposed flooring company is! The attached photo shows cracking grout and that is how it is all over the house. They replaced at least 20 or more tiles and it is still happening (the bathrooms are now having the same issue). Dustin blames it on the thinset/mortor, but the new tile company says it was poor quality of work and its that simple.
