Nathalie has over two decades of experience working in architecture and heritage across Italy, France and Australia. Nathalie was responsible for the restoration of UNESCO Heritage-listed site at Place Stanislas in Nancy, France and has worked on large-scale heritage projects across Australia. Nathalie has developed a reputation for award-winning, light-filled residential and commercial projects that draw on European influences and respond to Australian conditions. The mix of youth and experience positions the studio to embrace new technology and develop innovative systems of practice to build on the experience and expertise that comes from operating for over 10 years. We recently engaged Nathalie Scipioni to undertake a complete renovation of our property (including both internal and external) at Vaucluse. We had previously reached out to other architects but we felt they were not understanding our vision. Nathalie, however was fantastic. She took the time to listen to us and understand our style. Each time Nathalie would present her thoughts on a design we were always happy with her recommendations. Nathalie has great ideas that are modern and appealing. We have had had a number of family members and friends who have visited our property since the works were completed and they have all said how stunning the house looks. We are so happy with our home we have now engaged Nathalie to undertake the interior design work. Nathalie and her team are very easy to work with. With a project this large and complicated (it was approx. 1 year) I was expecting it to be quite stressful but was pleasantly surprised at how smoothly it ran. One of the biggest advantages Nathalie has is her ability to be exceptional at both architectural work and interior design work, because in past experiences we found an architect would only be able to undertake architectural works, so Nathalie is the complete package! I would thoroughly recommend Nathalie and I will definitely be engaging Nathalie again for any future works.

We partnered with Nathalie and her team to bring our vision of a new cosmetic injectables space to life. Nathalie effortlessly brought her innate style and architectural knowledge to the project and has delivered a finished space that exceeds what we thought was possible. Nathalie's colour and aesthetic experience brought light and texture where previously there was none. She has helped to deliver comfort and warmth through a unique blend of carpeting, wallpapers, arches and light. Her team helped to project manage the entire refurbishment and build - again, in an effortless and stress free way. I cannot recommend Nathalie and her team more highly - whether it be for commercial or residential design. We will definitely use her and her team again.

Nathalie and her team helped me renovate a very small semi-detached house I bought as an investment. It was quite tricky as the house and land is very small but Nathalie came up with a great design to put on another storey with a bedroom, bathroom and study and to make the place lighter and brighter. It was completed December 2022 and I love what it looks like. It will be a great investment and somewhere my kids might live one day. She was also very good at keeping me up to date with timing and budget despite the pressures that were brought to bear in 2021 and 2022 from covid and supply delays. She was very responsive to my questions and easy to deal with. Highly recommend her and would use her again.

I thank Nathalie and Fabrizio for being very patient in helping us selecting all the material and finishes. The job has been completed with excellent quality. Nathalie is amazing, from start of the project to the very end and we will happily use her services again. She has then done very accurate scoping and design work, which meant that our renovation went very smoothly and we had minimal delays, surprises and overruns - our investment in Nathalie at the start of the project paid off with a very good experience during the actual construction phase - we were on time and on budget during the COVID lockdown!! Nathalie is very creative - whenever we encountered a problem (eg availability issue), she would come up with different solutions to help us resolve it and keep the project on track I also liked how flexible and responsive Nathalie has been throughout the project - she has worked in the way that suited us and was very much a partner during this project, both to us and the builder, providing advise and support the whole time We have very much enjoyed working with Nathalie - it was a great experience - and we highly recommend her!

Nathalie and her team have been great throughout the renovation process, from design to completion, with thoughtful suggestions, smart ideas and managing to pull together a very high quality team of tradies/builder who delivered our project broadly on time & budget despite the massive challenges faced throughout the process because of covid-19 breakouts, lockdowns and supply chain shortages. More importantly the outcome is stunning and exceeds our expectations in terms of quality, space and feeling. This is the second time we have used NSStudio's services, the first time being when we first bought the house back in 2009 and where NSStudio assisted us with initial renovation work in both indoor and outdoor areas. It is worth noting that, although 12 years have passed since that initial renovation, none of what was done back then required any major touch up during the most recent renovation, which means that the high quality is also a lasting one!

I interviewed Nathalie's clients and was blown away by the feedback. If I'd ever doubted the value an architect could bring to day-to-day quality of life, these clients were there to educate me. Every one of them credited Nathalie with reflecting the way they lived in the design of their homes, including features they used and appreciated every day in small and large ways. Most of them also credited Nathalie for coming up with ideas that they themselves would never have come up with in a million years but that were game-changing in terms of light or space or useability.

We’ve used NSSTUDIO for refurbishment and addition of our house in Bondi. Nathalie and the team have listened to our brief and created a unique design to maximise the space and natural light. The DA approval went smoothly, and we have received approval from first submission, which was great. The team ensured that all aspect of the design was in line with Waverley Council requirements. We are very happy with the outcome and happy to recommend NSSTUDIO to our friends.

Nathalie worked with us to create a new space at the rear of our terrace and update two existing bathrooms, all within the restrictions of an existing DA. We couldn't be happier with Nathalie's final design which embraced our original ideas and then lifted them to another level. Nathalie has a wonderful attention to detail and a great knowledge base to draw from. She was wonderful to work with, patient and encouraging in equal measure. Hi - we worked with Nathalie a few years ago to renovate our property in Stanmore. We had ideas on what we wanted to do and Nathalie complimented our ideas with her brilliant ideas. Nathalie was very easy to deal with and explained how the process worked, she was also able to suggest a fantastic builder which made the entire process seamless. Our unique property is now filled with natural light and is just the way we wanted it to be. We hired NSStudio to undertake an extensive renovation. Nathalie was very responsive to our needs and wants and creatively designed a beautiful and functional space. The budget was blown because we went for quality. Deadlines were met as best as possible given the surprises that pop up in older homes. Nathalie managed the project which made our role so easy as she maintained a respectful and joyful relationship with both us and the builders.

We hired Nathalie to redesign the rear section of our home, a semidetached Victorian residence. The project involved the demolition of kitchen, bathroom, laundry and living which was replaced by a two story addition of kitchen, bathroom (x2), bedroom, laundry and living. Nathalie's beautiful design ideas and collaborative approach resulted in a bright, stylish, spacious home. We engaged Nathalie to project manage the build which was the best decision.
