Mutschler Kitchens entire team is top-notch! From start to finish our project was seamless. Heidi worked within our budget and provided exactly what we were looking for. Tim and his crew arrived daily as scheduled, finished on time, were clean and fun to have around. We were sad to see them go! We will definitely use them again if needed, and highly recommend them to anyone looking to do a home project!

We moved back to Grosse Pointe last year from New York and bought a total fixer upper house. We hired the Chris Blake Company and Mutschler Kitchens to do the work. Chris Blake did a gut renovation of our house including building an addition over our sunroom and a carriage house. Chris worked with us on everything from the floor plans to the hardwood and all the finishes which of course included all bathrooms and kitchens. Chris has an exceptional group of tradesmen who are not only skilled but friendly and amazing to work with and his Field Manager Tim Scott is the absolute best! His design team including Heidi Hirons curated incredible selections of finishes. The level of service was impeccable and worth every penny!

The team is organized, patient, knowledgeable and a truly delightful to work with. Not to mention they stand behind their work. Months after my project was finished there was an issue with my cabinets. The issues were completely production related and had nothing to do with the installation work Muetchler did - but Muetchler had them replaced without issue. Between the design services, customer service and the master construction you can’t go wrong.

We had a wonderful experience with Mutschler on our bathroom remodel. They are incredibly thoughtful, reliable, detailed and easy to work with. We began with the planning process with John and his team who were very helpful. John was able to provide practical recommendations that were very easy to integrate in our plan and he and his team have a natural eye for suggestions from a design perspective and spatial awareness that were easy to understand and translate into adjustments to our plans. Finally the ability to have an available showroom with accessible materials really helped us visualize our design as well as the CAD development process. Once our plans were finalized we worked directly with Tim (our project manager) on the actual demo and installation process. Tim was incredibly informative giving us regular updates with clear explanations of what was happening day by day and week by week. As we closed out certain aspects of the project we were able to work through any necessary changes (in our case I had a last minute adjustment to a tile layout that Tim was able to work with and still maintain our timing!). We also had a minor issue after installation with a sealant and Tim immediately responded and was able to work through a solution with us that remedied the issue quickly. All in all, we had an amazing experience with Mutschler Kitchens. They are thorough, communicative, helpful and on time (if not early) which was incredibly reassuring given the delays we have heard of from other friends going through remodeling projects. Will absolutely be doing future work with Mutschler!

Chris Blake and his entire team did a fabulous job when we had our kitchen completely renovated two years ago. Everyone on the team is efficient, experienced, professional and customer-oriented. The job timeline was laid out for us in advance and they finished prior to their projected completion date. We own a lovely old home and you never know what lurks below the surface when a total tear out is done, and “surprises” there were, but the Mutschler team is so accustomed to working on older homes that they had a work-around developed before we even had time to get stressed out. We were so impressed with their project management skills—everything was recorded, resolved, and finished before our project was considered complete. They were even willing to return and do some unexpected minor touch up caulking for us after project completion. I can’t say enough good things about their kitchen remodeling team and would recommend them to anyone. We absolutely love our new kitchen!!!

Mutschler Kitchens' team of professionals lead by Chris Blake did an outstanding, in-depth renovation of 3 full bathrooms (including the master) and our kitchen, plus converted a laundry room to a beautiful full bathroom and a half bath/mudroom to a spacious, airy laundry room. Additionally, the team was responsible for a facelift of the entire interior, including installing and refinishing hardwood floors and carpet, updating lighting, and bringing a sweeping foyer staircase into the 21st century. Most remarkably, all of the work--from initial consult to finishing touches--was completed while we were 700 miles away, all through fantastic communication via Zoom, email, and text. No detail was overlooked, from the placement of the cutlery drawer in the kitchen to the appropriate height of the securely hung towel bars and hooks. Our team of Chris, Heidi, Sarah, and extraordinary project manager Tim made sure the huge project was finished perfectly and well within our expected time frame--no small feat in today's world of shortages and delays. Once we moved in, when minor adjustments needed to be made, Tim was quick to address them, and all of the tradespeople were knowledgable, neat, efficient, and respectful. I enthusiastically recommend Mutschler Kitchens to friends and neighbors looking for exemplary design, craftsmanship, and service.

Mutschler Kitchens saved me after one of my cat flooded my kitchen and basement by turning on my kitchen sink in the middle of the night. They worked with me from the design phase through the entire project. Their design was amazing for my small-ish kitchen and I now have my dream kitchen. Things I loved: They coordinated everything from the design through construction. I always knew the schedule and when to expect people. They were super responsive to my questions and to finishing up my final (trivial) punch list. They took care to keep my cats safe throughout so I never worried they'd escape. They did an amazing job. They are a bit expensive, but you get what you pay for. The final product is fantastic and I'm loving my new kitchen!

Mutschler Kitchens and The Blake Company built the kitchen of our dreams. We enjoyed working with Chris, Heidi, the rest of their staff as well as their in house trades. They were professional, timely, very communicative and very considerate that we lived in our home during the renovations. We loved what they accomplished in our kitchen so that we hired them to renovate a 1st floor space into a guest room suite as well as redo our master bedroom with a full bath and laundry. Amazing!!
