Melissa has taken on 2 large projects and now is embarking on a total rebuild. What I’ve appreciated most about working with her is how organized she is, her tremendous attention to detail and her approach in mixing price points. She took extra time to get to know how our family lives, creating spaces that not just brought in light but lots of comfort. I love how she made our spaces warm again. Looking forward to seeing how the new/remodeled home will look.

Melissa came into our DIY home renovation and quickly created a plan for the physical space. Her selections for finishes have given our kitchen a cohesive and stylish look we would have lacked without her. Melissa has been responsive to our many questions and so helpful as we make decisions along the way. Our kitchen is still a work in progress, but I am confident it will look fantastic once completed.

Melissa was hands down, the best choice we made in the whole decision making process when we decided to remodel our Master Bath. She went well beyond the scope of designer in every aspect of the project. We chose Melissa Reiser Interiors based on a few posts on social media, but those posts didn't do her justice based on how well everything was thought out, materials paired together, and the overall vision she had for Bath. We could not be more happy with the way everything turned out! She will be the only person we will ever call again for future projects!

Melissa is an incredibly talented designer that went above and beyond to make our family room space beautiful, functional, and above all peaceful! She designed the room with input and consideration of all family members including teenage daughters. Melissa was extremely creative with our budget and made sure she prioritized design elements that were important to our family. We could not be more grateful this holiday season for Melissa’s vision as we are enjoying making new memories with family and friends in a space that allows for both intimate and large gatherings!

I can not find the appropriate words to use to describe my decorating "adventure" with Melissa. She was professional! She was punctual! She was knowledgable! She was spot on with her recommendations - even when I asked, "Are you sure?"! I reached out to Melissa, at the last minute, for recommendations on a whole house exterior paint color scheme. We had 24 hours to come up with a plan because the painters were available "now." She was very accommodating with my timeline, and, the fact that I was 300 miles away in WV, did not deter her. Lots of pictures, some videos, and many questions later, I took her recommendations and LOVE the choices we made! In a time where customer service is lacking, my experience with Melissa showed that she was willing to go above and beyond. She gets the credit every time someone comments on how great our home looks!

We worked with Melissa on several room renovations to bring the traditional design to a more contemporary modern aesthetic. She also helped us to decide what is worth the short-term investment now so we can enjoy vs longer term investments to increase the resell value based upon our goals. She was very flexible, understanding our budget & short term vs long term updates. She provided multiple options with customized designs to not just fit our personalities but successfully blend more modern pieces in with the existing traditional design aspects we chose not change. The results are stunning! We’ve received so many compliments, I only wish we engaged her sooner.

Melissa is the best! She is amazing to work with and truly cares about each of her clients. She works hard to make sure the job is done right. Melissa is Amazing! My wife is going to be bedridden for some time and she completely redid our master bedroom. We were in awe with her design abilities. The room brings so much peace and healing energy. We could not be happier. I highly recommend using her.

Melissa helped me make my house feel like my home, stepping in during our first floor renovation. Having never used a designer before, I was a bit nervous. I’m terribly indecisive and she was patient and calm with me, helping me to consider options I never thought I would like while allowing me the flexibility I needed to feel confident that my vision was going to be implemented. As a result, my home is comfortable and welcoming, with modern and classic touches that are inspired by the ocean towns I have lived in before moving “inland.” Recently I had my very big, extended family visit and received many compliments on my furniture, color choices and lighting. Melissa helped us with 2 completely different projects and we could not be happier with both. One was our house which needed to be brightened and updated. Our house now feels complete, my wife is happy, which means life is great. The other project was the polar opposite being a Viking-themed brewery that needed to be darker, inviting but not frightening, and functional. Home run on both!

Melissa was gracious at the last minute to come meet with me about some of my interior design decisions. There were a lot of small things such as the height of my cabinet and color of my dining room paint that she made recommendations for and they have turned out beautifully. I look forward to continuing to work with her on my projects.

I am recent empty nester and wanted to update the look of my entire home after my children had moved out. Melissa helped me prioritize the project into a few manageable pieces and stayed within the budget we outlined. Melissa helped with everything including paint colors, furniture selection, window treatments, bedding, artwork and repurposing some of my existing furniture. I have been employed as a residential loan officer for the past 25 years and have met many real estate professionals over my career, Melissa is best interior designer I have met!

Melissa has done several decorating jobs for my family - our new home, a beach condo and Christmas decorations. It’s amazing the way she brings styles together to make a house a home. I highly recommend working with Melissa. We downsized from a traditional home and wanted a fresh, casual style by the lake without being “campy”. Melissa pulled together the core living areas with a cohesive color palette, rugs, furniture and decor. She even found ways to incorporate some odd pieces from our travels while gently dissuading me from trying to save other pieces from my traditional decor (sometimes you just need someone to tell you to let go☺️). I wholeheartedly recommend Melissa! She has led three projects for me over several years - 1. a main level refresh, 2. a whole house pre-sale refresh and staging, 3. major renovation of main and basement levels including a complete kitchen gutting. Melissa has a degree in art that gives her a unique understanding of color and how room positioning and light impacts the color and overall aesthetic appeal. She takes elements of styles my family likes and pulls them together for a cohesive end product. Each time she has worked within my budget - she practically pays for herself by finding great deals and reliable, reasonable contractors. She saved me $2k on a plumber this last time and her painter quoted one project at 25% less than others - both with great results! 5 stars!

Melissa is so great to work with and her attention to livable design is amazing. I love that she uses 3D drawings so we can see her vision before anything is done. She is very thorough and knowledgable when she explains her process. I highly recommend her for your next remodel or new home project!

We have worked with Melissa on several projects and she is easy to work with and delivered the feel we were hoping for: casual, cohesive, and calming. We moved in to a house from a small apartment and were in desperate need of finishing multiple spaces to make our house a home. Melissa and her team came in, learned our style, understood our budget and took the project off our hands! She communicated throughout the project and kept me up to date on product selections and timing of install. She advised where to spend on quality on pieces we'd be keeping for years to come and also where she could find great pieces on a budget for decorating. I came home from work on install day and my house was transformed! Her attention to detail and artistic eye is incredible. She makes the process stress free and I can't thank her enough for making my home beautiful!

I have worked with Melissa on several projects over the past few years. She is very meticulous and strives to anticipate her client’s needs and follows through to get them exactly what they dreamed of for their home or business. Melissa always does her best and she is extremely talented.

We asked Melissa to "finish" our home. We moved in about 1.5 years ago, unpacked and that was it. There are lots of open shelving and windows, an off centered dinning room but minimal wall space so decorating was a challenge. Melissa took on that challenge and the outcome was AMAZING! She was able to not only redesign 5 of our rooms and a few display areas, but everything flows so well and there are personal touches throughout. Melissa was great at finding a balance of higher and lower cost options to stay within budget. We love our new space and are estastic that it finally feels like OUR home.

She is very professional, efficient and stays on budget while also knowing where to splurge and where to save. She looks for the best price for items while also prioritizing comfort and quality. Melissa keeps the process moving forward and got everything ordered and delivered on schedule. She has a great group of subcontractors she works with and expertly oversees their timelines and work quality.
