I would recommend this company. From my initial conversation to the Steven, the sales associate, who was a pleasure to talk to and was able to meet with us on a Friday night in the evening to answering all my questions, whether a question I asked the day before and forgot he provided an answer to anything and everything in between. Steven always replied within a reasonable amount of time, and at all times during the day. We had no idea about a deck and what we had to make decisions about, Steven was able to ask the questions so we could get what we wanted and not make it a huge hassle or expect that we just knew what was really going on. All in all, Steven was a true pleasure to work with throughout the whole experience. Steven had recommendations but when we said we wanted something. If it wasn't for Steven who recommended we go with the shorter railing so that it didn't block our view out of all our windows in the back of the house, something I hadn't even thought about. The initial cost of the project was quoted very high, but after telling Steven we got a more reasonable quote from another company, Steven was able to get Mountain View Sun Decks ("MVSD") to match the quote and we are so glad we went MVSD. The project was for a pressure treated two tier deck with an 8'x12' upper deck and a step down to a 12'x12' lower deck. The work was pretty much completed in a day. The gentleman who came to build our deck very fast and efficient. There was about a month wait time between signing the contract and the start of building, but it was worth it. I also would recommend MVSD, for the fact that no money changes hands until the project is done and you are satisfied with the workmanship.

Every part of my decking project ,from the first evaluation and costing visit by Steven Ediger ,to the fast scheduling ,to the tear-down ,to the various steps towards completion,was done with true professionalism and excellent quality of workmanship . The worksite supervisor,Tom, made sure his crews arrived when he said they would ,worked hard and fast ,and tidied and cleaned up afterwards to a high standard. They were also amazingly restrained re. noise,with no loud music blaring or the usual loud laughter and goofing off that one comes to sort of expect from construction work .They arrived early and left late taking very little time off for breaks of any kind.That's impressive ! The final invoice was pretty close to the initial estimate ,only a few hundred dollars more but understandably so . Thankfully , Tom made sure that the work was completed before the horrendous rain storms our area has been hit with arrived,which was a big relief for me . Everyone I had contact with in this company ,from the phone receptionist on , was polite,friendly and well informed ,and all were very ready to listen to any concerns I had ,which were few and easily answered. I felt very comfortable each step of the way I would definitely use this company again.

Rebuilt the deck at the back of the house; because of cost we kept the same footprint as the previous deck; workmanship was excellent, the deck flooring is exceptional, almost like the extension of the inside flooring, loved the enclosed stairwell and the changes to the railing; very clean exit after job was complete, no delays in getting the work done; very pleased; in hindsight we should have spent the extra money for a tiered deck that we had in mind.

Our experience with the company and its employees, for the most part, has been excellent. The deck was enlarged and updated with dura deck vinyl covering, aluminium powder coated rails and lightly tinted glass over ten years ago, and it still looks great. Additional upgraded railings, opaque glass and a gate were later added. From the initial meeting with the sales representative to the completion of the project, the costs were on budget and on time. The quality of workmanship performed and professionalism of their employees can be considered first rate. The best part of having a Mountain View Sun Deck is not having to do any maintenance, just sit back and enjoy.

We had our old deck replaced. Complete removal and new installation. The work was performed during the winter and completed on time and budget to our complete satisfaction.

They came and put down my deck in record time. Looks beautiful. It was a difficult job because of a previous contractor had failed. They turned things around and left us very happy.

I hired Ewald and his team to replace a old wrought iron circular staircase off my desk with a traditional set of stairs in all aluminum. They were excellent to work with and I'd do business with them again anytime. Very professional, humble, creative, extremely detail orientated and excellent customer service from everyone. Price was fair and nothing negative to suggest about the product or service. Highly recommended!

Great staff, great owner, great service....could not be happier with my custom deck they built for me in 2015 and the issues they caught and fixed during the build. A great company and team....I would highly recommend. No corners cut....just quality product and service. Rod C.

Mountain View Sundecks installed an exterior staircase from out upper deck to the ground on our house. We were very pleased with this install. They were very responsive, met our schedule and came in at the price they quoted. I highly recommend them.
