I worked with Julie on a lot of projects and she is one of the most credible/experienced designers I have ever worked with. I found Julie extremely accommodating not only to me as a trade but also to the home owners we dealt with. She always made sure that the product that she specked was on budget and she got the best quality and look that the home owner wanted. We really worked well together and I look forward to working with Julie and her firm in the near future.

We could not have envisioned the full scope of our home renovation without the expertise of Morris Copper. The design process was very interactive, from the creation of new living spaces right down to the last minor detail. We never once felt our voice wasn't heard. Julie and Meghan were very receptive to our ideas and worked closely to incorporate them in the final design. Having been so happy with the design phase we took our relationship further and had them furnish all of our major living spaces. Custom millwork and furniture, draperies, wallpaper and fabric, as well all the finishing details such as art work, lamps and end tables. They have created a perfect family space for our family to enjoy. We are nearing our move in date and everything has gone according to plan, no hiccups along the way. Morris Cooper was selected for our project by our managing contractor on the basis of our size and complexity of project. This was a full main floor gut of a 1300 sq.ft. bungalow. They are a respected design company in our city and successfully worked hard to meet our desire to control our relatively modest budget. They also added contractor and vendor choices that supported this. That said, some of their proposed product choices suggested cheaper selections rather than simpler quality choices we opted for. Always make sure you are fully engaged in the process! The design was fairly pre-determined by us but nice adjustments to the layout and selection of finishes, tiles, etc. was helpful and added significantly to the final product. We are thrilled with the end result!

The support of the team at Morris Cooper throughout our extensive renovation was definitely a pleasant experience. The gentle guidance during the process from fine tuning our plans to selections of fixtures and materials (inside and out) to moral support during installation was greatly appreciated. Every customer is confined by budget limitations; unfortunately in my experience very few designers respect this simple fact of life and often provide their clients with amazing designs that will never actually come to reality, due to the fact budget has not been considered during the design process. I work in the showroom and on the order desk at Tierra Sol Ceramic Tile. I have been helping Julie of Morris Cooper Design for 9 years. Julie takes the time to put together looks that will wow her clients. Even when it appears the job is on a budget, she will seek out the best tiles to pull it all together, and create a timeless look. Her attention to detail is very good, accuracy is key to her when ordering. She places her orders in advance of when the tiles are required, ensuring her clients tile is ready for the job when it starts.
