Working with Monks was an absolute pleasure. Our full bathroom renovation needed to be completely wheelchair accessible, so we’re very happy we chose Monks! Starting in the design showroom, Lucia Mastronardi carefully hand-selected several styles of tile and coordinating cabinets to help us narrow down our overall design, all the way down to the accessible hardware. Her 3D renderings illustrated the project beautifully, which made any further choices so easy. Once we’d decided on our design, we loved that our project team came back a second time to double-check all measurements before ordering materials or beginning demolition. We also agreed to a very thoroughly priced out invoice prior to starting work. Joe Corticada headed up project management along with Jose Roca. They were both so helpful and very respectful of our home, keeping us updated throughout our project. We had a few unexpected changes to the project scope due to our slab foundation style, but they handled those issues quickly and efficiently. We were able to live comfortably alongside construction as the team made sure to lay down drop cloths, tape off closets, and clean up each day. Every time we had questions, Joe was easy to reach and always put our minds at ease. Our finished bathroom is everything we’d imagined! We have a gorgeous roll-in shower and accessible floating vanity with beautiful modern tile and accessories throughout. We will absolutely call Monks for our next project!

We recently discovered hidden water damage in our game room. We called Monk's and they responded right away and helped us assess the damage. We worked with a team, including Ward, Bill, Jamie, Raul and Gustavo, to make the necessary repairs. Everyone was very professional, hardworking and helpful and listened to our requests for enhancements and made those happen. Each day the area was cleaned with excess debris taken away. We recently retained Monk’s to update our bathroom. We have found there is often a lot of anxiety associated with a project like this but Monk’s has a process of discussion that ensures that they and the customer have a complete understanding of the requirements and the costs. On the day the actual work was to begin we met Nelson Santiago and his team of craftsmen. Nelson was the coordinator assigned to us. He kept us well informed about the various stages from demolition to installation through to completion. He would also ensure the quality of the work every day and discuss with us any problems along the way as will happen with a home that is one hundred years old. He also scheduled the electrician who came in to install the exhaust/heating fan which also required some upgraded wiring. Having one person as a point of contact is the best thing about Monk’s service as he is your eyes and ears and Nelson made us feel quite comfortable that nothing was overlooked. We were very happy with our Monk’s experience from the selection of materials to the high quality of workmanship and the excellent communication.

Monks did an outstanding job in renovating our two bathrooms and putting a new floor for the attic. Mike Mina was the point man from Monks that we worked with. I am now a repeat customer, both of Monk's and of Matthew (Sensitive Information Hidden) as GC. I had them come back to gut renovate the entryway to my home from ugly fake wood paneling to beautiful, crisp, clean drywall, including removing a half wall and installing a new closet. I chose this company over the many (many, many, omg) companies and GC's I interviewed, because they are all in-house. Work done on your home is work done by employees, and they have all trades there and ready to go. They are also able to order all materials and store them until all are in-hand, and do not start until they have the materials and staff and time to get the job done quickly and very well. Every time I had a question or a concern, it was addressed quickly and to my satisfaction by the GC on my project, Matthew (Sensitive Information Hidden). One year later, the work is still pristine and functioning exactly as promised. When some tile in the kitchen cracked, it was noticed and repairs/replacements in process before I even noticed. Absolutely everyone employed here is professional and good at what they do. 10/10 will use them again.

To Kurt Becker and Robert Farley (2/13/2024) We contracted with Monk's to complete various first floor (living room, dining room, kitchen, powder room, foyer, and hallway) upgrades including the installation of new baseboard and shoe molding, crown molding, and chair rails. A new steel door was installed at our garage entry vestibule. New recessed lighting was installed in the kitchen and dining room. Finally, the walls were repaired and painted. I am thrilled with the job Monk’s did on our powder room and hall bathroom! Cortney Tripodi guided us through ordering all the items that satisfied our needs, style and budget. I don’t think we could have done it without her expertise. And she was pivotal in seamlessly resolving product issues !! Our product manager Vincent Pileggi always came by the job to resolve any issues and keep the job going. The workmen were also great, skilled and responsible.

There are many home remodelers in New Jersey. Monk's makes the project so easy. This was our second project with Monk's. The most appreciated benefit to working with Monk's is that they show up when they promise. I did not have to call and beg them to complete the project. We recently had windows installed by Monks and chose them because of the positive experience we've had with previous projects. We have found them to be professional, responsive and dependable. From our first meeting with Robert, who patiently answered all our questions, to Ward, who efficiently oversaw the project, to Raul, who was in charge as the work was done, we have nothing but praise. We had our mudroom and bathroom renovated and we are very happy with the results. Bill Buckner and Oscar Ortiz’s crew were very professional and timely. The transformations to both rooms were much needed and I am glad that I selected Monk’s Home Improvements.

We returned to the area and were thrilled to be able to work with George Day again. We closed on our house in the beginning of June and planned to move in at the end of the month. We had all new heating and cooling put in which meant an oil tank, furnace and baseboard heating had to be removed. I needed George and his crew to clean things up and put things back together before we moved in. George and the painting crew, (headed by Ziggy) and the carpenters (headed by Lazero) translated all my plans and vision into reality. The whole house was painted with new baseboards and crown molding added. The carpenters built: 3 walls of shelving to convert a small windowless room in my finished basement into a massive storage closet, a cabinet to cover the sump pump now to be used to fold clothes on with the added benefit of shelves for storage underneath and a beautiful set of sliding doors for our bedroom closet that were an adaptation of Japanese shoji doors. For every problem, a solution was found and resolved cleanly and expertly. Communication and collaboration was ongoing. We moved in and immediately felt we were home! The gold standard!!

We just remodeled our main bathroom with Monks. We are so happy with the outcome and with the entire process from design to construction. The staff at the showroom and on the job site were professional and respectful and did great work. We live in an older home with some challenges and attention was paid to details. We will definitely recommend them to friends and family and look forward to future projects with them.

Outstanding experience w/this company! Nelson has quite the team! We did a full kitchen reno (going from 1950’s to present!). We knocked the wall down between the kitchen & the dining room…what a difference! The team started exactly as planned, & finished right on schedule! There was never a day when work was not being done. Inspections were seamless! They were friendly, knowledgeable, respectful & neat. They were patient when we had to locate our cat so he wouldn’t escape! (He’s still here!) Every aspect of the project was done with precision & attention to detail, including a beautiful painting job of he new area as well as the entire first floor up into the hallway (& the bathroom). We cannot say enough good things about Monk’s & definitely recommend them for your next home project!

We just used Monks for a bathroom and basement remodel . From the walk through to the end of the project it was easy to work with everyone on the team. The experience working with Mike Mina and Monk's was nothing short of excellent. It was a smaller roject for us...We had a relatively new deck with a portion roofed over, and we were looking to install screens to "enclose" the area. Mike came in, spoke with us about our vision, took his measurements and had a quote to us within a couple of days. We were fortunate enough to be able to schedule the work the following week. The job that was anticipated to take 4 days took two...Mike checked in with us at every step of the process. We could not be happier with the result. Would absolutely recommend them to anyone!

Monk's helped me with a small project in my home's second-floor. A hallway was built to create a walk through from the original side of the house to a bonus room that was built by previous owners. The project included redoing closets and installing closet systems, refinishing floors and painting walls. From working with the showroom designer Jacklyn, project manager Chris Klug, all the way to painters, carpenters and floor crew, the experience couldn't be more satisfying. I am now looking to have my kitchen remodeled and adding a guest room in the basement.

Monk's did a bathroom remodel and repairs in a second bathroom due to a leak. The team, managed by Nelson, was professional, responsive, and took care to make sure the design, materials, and construction were high quality.

Highly recommend. Great experience, great products, fantastic communication from Alex about timing/delays. Our windows had a delay (not caused by Monks) but Alex handled the issue, escalated it and got us our windows quicker than expected!

I have worked with Monks on three remodels and several painting jobs, most recently a full kitchen remodel. I have had the good fortune of having Ryan, for the estimate, being the first person to meet on each job, he’s very, pleasant, knowledgeable and professional. Cortney was extremely patient and confident when we worked together on the design. She has great ideas and helped from the initial design through the final construction. My onsite project manager was Chris, he was pleasant, knowledgeable, and responsive. He made sure there were no shortcuts. I can’t emphasize enough the benefit of of working with a one stop shop. So much stress is relieved when there is a crew in your house and you have a single point of contact to manage everything. P.S. The tile guy was awesome.

Matthew Ayers and Monk's did a great job renovating our Master Bath Room. Designers did a great job creating computer generated artist renderings. It was great to see how fixtures, tile, and paint would look. Work crews were very punctual, excellent craftsmen, and extremely polite. They put down drop cloths everywhere and picked them up at night. We especially appreciated how they cleaned the workspace every day to keep down the dust. Most importantly, Matthew was here every day, sometimes twice a day, making sure everything ran smoothly. He did a great job quality controlling all aspects of the renovation. If we weren't happy with something, he did everything he could to make it right. He even detected small imperfections and corrected them before we mentioned it. I would highly recommend Monks and Matthew Ayers for any home renovation.

I couldn't be happier with the work performed by Monk's on my small remodel projects this spring. From consultation, design, to execution - everything is top notch. Ward and Bill specifically were fantastic to work with. I will definitely be using them again at some point.

We recently used Monk’s for a guest bathroom gut and re-do. We decided to go with them, as our neighbors used them for a master bathroom and were quite happy. We called them and they were immediately responsive, making an appointment to come over for an initial walk-through. From there they provided an extremely thorough and detailed estimate. Based on that, along with our neighbor’s review, we decided to use them. Well, we could not have been happier. Their communication was excellent and clear. Everything was documented. The amount of information provided to us was incredible. There was nothing left to the imagination. It was all extremely comprehensive and transparent. Any questions we had were answered immediately and clarified. There was also no problem if we wanted to buy some of the materials/fixtures ourselves (which we did). Zero pressure to buy through them, although anything bought through them they would guarantee. They were extremely prompt, always arriving exactly when they said they would. They were courteous and kind. No question of ours was too trivial, too dumb, too naïve. Everything was treated with respect. Issues identified along the way were IMMEDIATELY corrected without question. This was truly a partnership, and they went out of their way to make sure we were happy. We were consulted throughout the project for anything they were unsure of or for anything needing further discussion. We left them alone in our house without reservation and felt at ease in doing so. They covered floors and cleaned up every night after themselves. The project manager, Chris, was our go-to guy throughout the project. He approached our questions and concerns calmly and ensured our issues were immediately resolved. He knows his stuff and shared his knowledge freely. He took an active approach and checked in frequently with us. Our crew was headed up by a gentleman named Ivan, who could not have been more respectful, helpful and willing. He and his team’s work was meticulous and any issues that arose (yes, issues will always come up in large projects, so don’t freak out!) were dealt with and corrected immediately with no questions asked. We felt all the way through the process that they had a vested interest in the success of our new bathroom! All in all we could not be happier with our beautiful new bathroom and we look forward to using Monk’s in the future.

We have had such a great experience with Monk and their team. From the moment we called to enquire they have been great to work with, helpful, friendly and knowledgable. And the team that completed the work were excellent; Garret C our Project Manager was extremely helpful and there every step of the way for our project of new basement floor, fixing of staircase and painting. I can not speak highly enough about Luis and his team who carried out the work, fast, clean, considerate and the standard of workman ship is first class. If you need any work doing on your house call Monk asap.

Matt Ayers and his crew did an excellent job gutting a 40-year-old bathroom and replacing it with a new shower, toilet, countertops, sinks, flooring and tiles. They always showed up when expected, were friendly, courteous and professional, and did quality work. All drop cloths, supplies and tools were removed from the job area each day and stowed away. Matt visited or followed up by phone or email on an ongoing basis. The only minor hitch was that the external tiling vendor sent a box of slightly warped shower tiles. This was corrected immediately with no inconvenience or added cost to me. The job quote was a bit of sticker shock initially but over time I realized you get what you pay for, especially after hearing about negative experiences friends have had with other home remodelers. Overall, very happy.

We had a great experience with Monks! Luis and his team, and project manager Matthew Ayers were super attentiv, worked fast and clean and with great attention to details. Our kitchenlook beautiful, and we are getting endless compliments!

Monk's did a bathroom renovation for us last winter. They are two companies, one doing design and procurement, the other construction. Our contract specified a substantial renovation, but the shower seemed to be in reasonable condition and was to be left as is. However, the shower subfloor, built 30 years ago, was found to be rotten due to water penetration. We therefore had to add rebuilding the shower to the contract. This added a couple of weeks to the length of the project. Monk's originally predicted 4 to 6 weeks, and they finished in 2 months, including the unplanned shower. It's fair to say they got the job done on time. We started working with Jaclyn, the Monk's designer on our project, in summer 2022, and scheduled the project start for January 2, partly because of the ongoing supply chain disruption at the time. Monk's takes care of all the ordering and procuring. and does not start a project until all required materials are in their warehouse. The customer pays retail prices, and Monk's captures the difference between retail and wholesale. We had a contemporary style in mind, and Jaclyn quickly incorporated our preferences into her thinking, providing examples and variations for us to choose from, and producing computer-generated images to give us an idea of what the finished design would look like. She was always very responsive and pleasant to work with. For example, as noted above we had an unplanned addition to the contract. Jaclyn was quick to advise on compatible shower tiles and fixtures, and procured them within a week or so. We liked all the Monk’s employees we encountered. There was one exception to this pattern, an electrical subcontractor who was not a Monk’s employee. He may have been technically competent, but his behavior left much to be desired. Other than that, we were happy to have the Monk’s team working in our home. As we discovered, a major bathroom renovation is not a simple matter. It requires a team effort (including the client). Our project manager, Vincent, was likeable and meticulous. He stopped by most days, and would typically arrive a few minutes early and appear at our door exactly on time. His coordination of the hands-on team went smoothly and efficiently, and the team worked extremely hard without cutting corners. The skill level was impressive. Overall, a job well done.

I have completed three projects the Roberto and Tito the foreman, who supervises an experienced team. I look forward to my next project with Monks.

Started our project yesterday! Must say I’m impressed. Our 85 year old attic steps finally gave out and we had to replace them. They were the best but unfortunately the company no longer exists. So Monks recommended the best alternative and they were installed today. So far construction as well as scheduling has been a great experience. We still have painting to be completed tomorrow but I must say that everything has gone well so far! Easy to work with, professional, efficient, and clean! I would work with this company again!

Jason was professional and very easy to work with. What most impressed me is how quickly he would get back to me event 5 years later when I had an issue. He immediately responded and with Andy's help came up with a creative solution and fixed the problem!

We just had Monk's complete a kitchen renovation and we are thrilled with the final result! They cut out and replaced a lot of dry wall and insulation, replaced molding, made any other necessary repairs and painted. We could not have been happier with experience from beginning to end. Mike Mina went above and beyond to ensure the whole project went smoothly and Franz and his team did impeccable work. We have had many projects done on our home- both big and small. I can honestly say, none of them have been so worry free. Pricing was very fair and it was completed beautifully in the exact amount of time and for the exact amount of money discussed. Superbly run bathroom and kitchen projects with Monk's and their professional team. My bathroom was done recently and came out with flying colors! Monk's assigns a project manager who will guide the project from start to finish. Matthew Ayers was my project manager for the bathroom remodel. He listened to and addressed any adjustments I asked for. The team of workers who did the work were excellent with doing the right things for the project and conferred with Matthew as needed to make changes. I would like to take a few minutes say how pleased Marilyn and I were with Matthew as our project manager. A little background on myself. In my previous life I was a graphic designer with account representative duties. I know how challenging it can be as a liason between clients and the people you work with. You have to make sure the customer feels he can trust you and you have to keep things in line with the company. As stated previously, our kitchen came with a few challenges, some obvious and some no so. Matthew met these challenges head on. Being well organized and prepared Matthew was able to focus on the big picture all the while coordinating with electricians, plumbers, flooring refinishers, cabinet installers, ect. Throughout the process Matthew kept us informed of any possible problems and was always available to discuss any issues we may have. In our experience we believe Matthew has shown to be a very good project manager with strong attention to detail, knowledgeable on the scope of the project and an engaging personality. Monks just completed our Kitchen renovation and they did an excellent job! This is the second time we've used them for a big project and they are the only contractor we will use moving forward. They are responsive, professional and run a home renovation like a commercial operation. All the contractors and subs are friendly and personable. The biggest difference between Monks and other contractors is that they assist you in the event you need to make changes on the fly. Things always come up during construction and they are always accountable and never contentious. Denise helped us design the entire Kitchen and picked out amazing finishes. Bill Buckner was our project manager and was very communicative and on top of everything. We texted daily coordinating the work to be done the next day. Jaime Hidalgo and his crew are so talented and efficient. They did the whole kitchen in 5 weeks!

We recently had Monks completely redo one bathroom, and are under contract for the second one. Their impressive Morristown showroom first attracted us to their company. The finished product was exponentially greater! Matthew Ayers and his crew was very efficient, meticulous, and clean throughout the project. When some unanticipated plumbing and electrical issues occurred, Matthew immediately made contact with the necessary people, and the situations were quickly resolved. Whenever we had questions and scheduling issues, Matthew responded quickly to our phone calls/emails/texts. We never felt stress during the entire process. I am certain that we could have saved a lot of money by using another company to do the work. However, we are convinced that the dollars were well spent. This is why we will be seeing Matthew and Monks again for our next bathroom redo. Our dog Salem is equally excited to see the Monk's crew again, because he got along great with Matthew throughout the project.

We hired Monk's to do painting and flooring work on the entire second floor at my mom's house. Kurt did a great job of prepping us for what to expect in terms of timelines and process. Our foreman Huibel did a wonderful job of keeping my mom informed on a daily basis of his progress. He and his crew did excellent, quality work and my mom was super happy with the finished product. Monk's has done a lot of work for us in the past in addition to the flooring and painting, including wainscotting, window and door install, as well as a new composite deck. We are hiring them again to paint the interior of the garage and to install some workbenches and shelving for storage. We can't wait for this work to be done as it's going to make a huge difference. Highly recommend them!

Monks painted my entire house that we recently moved into. The quote was fair and there was good communication about start time and work days and crew. They are happy to add other small handyman projects along the way, which is very helpful. They are very open to feedback if you have any questions or concern and are accountable for a good outcome. Included in the scope of work was painting basement cabinets and a paneled office. For the office, they did a spray technique which it turned out fabulous. I appreciate the responsiveness, friendliness, helpfulness and follow-through of Monks, in particular, George Day. George is professional and knowledgeable and the manager of my projects, which have expanded into three bathrooms for this spring. I also commend Carlos for his painting work along with his crew members. I am an interior designer, and I always refer my clients to Monks for their consideration.

We have carried out multiple projects with Monks - new front door, exterior paint, new gutters, porch refinishing and new railings. All have been amazing and Kurt makes sure everything is in line with original expectations. He and the teams are great to work with!

We contracted with Monk's (Morristown office) for a powder room makeover in our townhome. We needed to replace the pedestal sink, toilet and floor tiles, plus paint the walls. The whole process was easy, from selecting the materials, scheduling the work, and having the work done and completed within the estimated time and at a reasonable cost. Matthew Ayers and his crew did a fabulous job. The crew showed up every day at 8am, and worked quietly, diligently, and efficiently. Communication with Matthew and the foreman was easy throughout. The tiles are laid perfectly; the paint job is meticulous. The powder room looks fantastic. We could not be more pleased with the outcome, and we highly recommend Monk's, especially if you get Matthew Ayers as a project manager.

My wife and I needed our basement windows replacemed and we had been looking to try Monks out for some time. After a very quick initial phone call with Roberto the rest was very streamlined and the job was completed In a professional and timely manner. They treated this small job as a large one and had a full crew working on the task. We will be looking forward to working with Monk’s and Roberto’s team on future renovations for our home.

Can you say TOTAL TRANSFORMATION !!! The Monk's team led by Bill did an outstanding job renovating our kitchen and back entry way. The team was courteous, professional and communicated regularly with us. This was the first time we did anything at this scale (a complete gutting and rebuild of the kitchen) and the Monk's team answered all my many questions and helped set my mind at ease. They were very clear on what could be done and provided great recommendations and guidance (These cabinet, fixture, backsplash and wall colors should work well together. Update the lighting. Don't go for a super powerful range hood - it would be overkill and would require make up air (a new term for me) and additional cost). Starting from the initial review meeting and estimates, meeting with the design consultant, signing off on the contract, and ultimate the execution of the project, the Monk's team did a fantastic job. Though we ended up purchasing most of the materials from other vendors, the Monk's installation team was quick yet did a wonderful job with the flooring, a new wall, cabinets, painting, plumbing, backsplash, lighting, electrical, repairing the window area, venting range hood to the outside, and removal and reattachment of appliances. It came together beautifully and we absolutely love the end result. Thank you Monk's.

We chose Monk’s for a complete renovation of our 1200 SF condo. We were nervous undertaking a project like this for the first time, but our experience with Monk’s was fantastic from start to finish and has continued to be great post-construction. We chose Monk’s based on great recommendations from family friends who had used them for large-scale projects in the past. They are able to provide complete service from design, material procurement, and project management in an extremely seamless manner, which was one of the main reasons for our decision. Our experience started with Casey who was our design consultant at the Monk’s showroom. Casey was fantastic, a pleasure to work with, and designed us a beautiful kitchen. Her recommendations for styles and products went a long way. Peter and Robert assisted us with picking out the perfect laminate floor for our redesign. They were extremely knowledgeable about all of the product choices and ultimately helped us get the best price for the floor we wanted. We had a tight timeframe to get our project done in under 4 weeks. Once our materials hit the warehouse the project was completed within 3.5 weeks. Project management couldn’t have been better. Our project manager was Joey and our foreman was David. Both were outstanding and extremely professional. They made themselves available daily to discuss any concerns or questions we had regarding the status of the work. They took care of everything including working with our HOA, neighbors, and township to ensure everything went smoothly. Even during Joey’s vacation time, Monk’s assigned Garrett to step-in as project manager. Garrett was fantastic and the project continued very efficiently during Joey's absence. Their crews and sub-contractors were always on time, professional, and clean. Monk’s uses ARS Electric Design for a lot of their electrical contracting. Alex, the owner, and his team were fantastic. They came out before the project to install an upgraded electrical panel and ran circuits to ensure everything was ready once Monk’s started work. They even worked closely with us post-construction to ensure some small upgrades were made per request of the town inspector. I would use Alex and his team any time. I would recommend Monk’s to anyone for any large or small home project. Their team is extremely experienced and they produce quality work that they stand behind. We will definitely use them and their team for future projects!

Maria and her team did a fantastic paint job in our family room and bathroom. She was able to schedule the job on short notice, and it was completed on time as committed. This was important to us as the holidays and guest arrivals were fast approaching. The crew was very professional and left the work space tidy each day. For the bathroom cabinets, Maria offered a suggestion for the color and it worked out very well.

We placed an order for Marvin new construction windows with Robert Farley at Monks. Monks will also do the installation, although the windows are not in yet. We went to Monks because they are very reliable and I find them to be trustworthy (we have done other smaller projects with them). Robert Farley helped us through the selection process and updated our estimate with various tweaks as questions and thoughts came up. Robert was a “no pressure” sales person, very friendly, communicative and hard working. When he didn’t know an answer, he found it out and got back to us. We will likely use Monks for other remodeling projects in the future.

We just had our upstairs bathroom gutted and redone through Monk’s. The whole process was great, from the design service with Zoriana Pogorilets to the final punch list. Nelson Santiago and his crew were amazing. We never had a day without someone working the entire time of the renovation. At times there were as many as 3 people working in that tiny space, working to get it done on time. We always knew what was going and who was in the house. They took great care to protect the areas of our house not under construction, keeping the disruption to the smallest area possible. My wife continued to work from home through the entire process. I’d hire them again and I’d recommend them to anyone with a renovation or repair project.

If you are a perfectionist and demand the best in yourself and others, you need look no further than this incredible company. From start to finish, there is no detail left unattended. My project was far from the easiest because I did not want to replace my cabinets. Several people on the Monk's team said that I would have been crazy to do so. There were other limitations within which whoever undertook the job would have to work as well. Most contractors will not touch a project unless they can gut the entire space and start from scratch. From the beginning, Monk's was willing to treat me as a contributing member of the team. I am a very hands on person and always love learning from each trade that contributes to the final project. From Maria who does the initial interview and measuring to Greg, who comes up with numbers to the penny to sell the job, to Garrett, my project manager to the counter templaters, installers, Monk designers, and consultants, there is nothing and no one I would have changed. My kitchen has been given new life, and I am ecstatic every time I look at the results.

Our daughter yanked our towel rack off of the wall in our powder room, and we needed repair and painting quickly. The team at Monk's was quick to respond to set up an appointment to see the damage and give us an estimate. Roberto came, gave us the estimate, and was able to schedule his team to get the job done quickly. After the paint dried, we needed some touch ups, and they came right back to make sure everything was perfect.

Monks renovated our very old bathroom, replacing everything. The one-stop shopping is a real convenience which I greatly appreciated . Our first contact was Casey Tripoli, a showroom salesperson who helped us select every item. She knows her tile and moved along very, very quickly. The fellow who then came to our house to measure and price was extremely professional and pleasant. Very professional! and knows all aspects of construction. His knowledge sealed the deal. I am embarrassed that I can’t recall his name. I think it was George. Our project manager was Marien. She aims for customer satisfaction and quickly saw to it that all of the blips that came along were corrected. No disagreements. Lastly, I must say that I appreciate EVERY SINGLE ONE of the workers, tile, carpentry. plumbing, electrical, etc. All were hard working and very pleasant to have in our home and did good work, especially Alex. Monks was even able to start our job several weeks earlier than promised which was great. They are experienced in all aspects of remodel.

Brian Rickenbach is as professional as it gets. From the beginning he gave me a timeline of when I would get my quote, called me as soon as he sent the quote, followed up with questions and had the job scheduled within a few days. Monks handled a multitude of projects for us: trim work, door installation, window installation, painting. I wish I knew about them before we redid our whole kitchen. I am extremely meticulous and asked for a few minor things to be fixed and Brian right away agreed and had it fixed for me without hesitation. I wouldn't hesitate to have them do all our home projects, big or small, for us. The whole experience was extremely smooth - Brian answers all calls and emails right away, which was important to me. Our house was also left spotless after all projects.

Monk's recently completed my 4th renovation project - our main bathroom. They did a great job as they have with the prior three projects. They are easy to work with, professional, and detailed. Marien Ronan, our Project Manager was always available and quick to respond when there was a question or a change needed. She always made sure we knew what was going on and made sure the work was done to our satisfaction. Any requests were accommodated well.

Had a master bathroom done. Everything came out fantastic. The experience was was simple and smooth when it comes to going to the showroom and picking out the supplies and fixtures. As far as the actual renovation, Chris, our project manager and staff were very professional and kind. Chris went out of his way to make sure we were happy and satisfied. He also was able to do minor fixes in other areas of our home. If I move to another house that needs renovations, I will be giving Monks a call.

Monk’s was amazing at doing a flood repair in our basement and work in our upstairs bathroom too. It was incredible how quickly they were able to remove the damage in the basement and then rebuild and paint. It looked better than before the damage ☺️. What‘s even better was the amazing customer relations. We worked with Mike who was so kind and personable and patiently guided us through every step of the process. He was very trustworthy and really wanted to make sure we understood everything and were happy with the plans and final project. Mike and his team, which included the incredible workmanship of Franz, always showed up on time and produced beautiful, impeccable work. We are so happy to have found this company and will be using again!

We recently renovated two bathrooms with Monks Home Improvements. We were extremely pleased with the the final outcome. The entire team from Monk’s that worked on our project were terrific. We worked closely with Anina as our design consultant. She has a great eye and her design expertise guided us seamlessly through the entire process from visualization to installation. We have used Monk’s over the years for large and small painting projects and carpentry projects. They are always responsive to our needs. There workers are competent and courteous. There representative, Shane Sweeney, is very responsive.

We hired Monk's to renovate our Jack and Jill bathroom. Our project manager was Joey, and our foreman was David and his two team members. Right at the get-go, Joey and David started a group chat with us to ensure that we were communicating about the project throughout its installation. This way, any questions or comments we had were always answered in a timely manner. The final result was even better than the preliminary mock-ups we received. It was 100% attention to detail; no corners cut; super clean finish. We couldn't be happier with the outcome.

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Trevor Monk, Brian Rickenbach, and all of the guys from Monks!! Brian and Trevor were a joy to work with. They and their team redid our entire basement quickly, efficiently, and professionally (after another builder spent over a year at our house creating a disaster of a mess down there). They had to tear nearly everything out that the other builder had done, re-do all the woodwork, order/rehang doors, and prep and paint all of the walls…and they did all of that in less than a week! And it looks amazing! And all in time for the holidays! And their price was reasonable too! Truly a Christmas miracle! I highly recommend them and will definitely be using them again in the future!

The Monk’s team transformed several spaces in our home and we couldn’t be happier. Led by Jon and his crew in Mountain Lakes, they installed a new front door, installed slate tile in our foyer (in an intricate herringbone style), transformed the fireplace, added moldings and millwork throughout the house and then painted the entire interior. With excellent communication and a wonderful crew, the work was done quickly and cleanly and at a very fair price. Highly recommend Jon’s team if you’re in the Mountain Lakes area.

I used Monk to have the exterior of my home repainted. Jason Solomon was my project manager. The entire experience with the teal at Monk’s was top notch; from communication, punctuality, professionalism and dedication to customer satisfaction, they are hands down the best construction company I have ever dealt with. Jason showed up for the first meeting on time and was armed with a wealth of knowledge. He really listened to what I wanted… I mean really listened. So often I. The past, I’d get a proposal and s the scope of work was completely off… wasting time. My initial proposal was perfect.. no need for editing. The team arrived as scheduled and worked full days. At the end of each workday, the work area was completely cleaned. They finished the job and stayed on schedule the entire time. The workers were all professional. At one point there was a mistake (caused by me) and the team immediately addressed and corrected the issue. I would highly recommend them to anyone! In fact, I will be using them again for an addition project. They have a Beautiul showroom with designers (I met with Zoriana and she was a delight.). After the meeting I had with Zoriana, I received an email from the owners, following up to see how the experience went and to ask if I had any questions. TOP NOTCH PROFESSIONAL COMPANY!

We contracted with Monk's in early 2022 for a renovation of our kitchen and adjoining bathroom. It was the first time we attempted a renovation on our 33 year old home, and we were looking for a contractor to coordinate all the details form design to construction. I'm thrilled with the final results. It's even more beautiful than I could have imagined! Although I was nervous about the demolition and construction, Monks handled everything seamlessly and professionally. We are now embarking on the renovation of our two upstairs bathrooms. Jaclyn, our designer has put together unique designs that I'm sure will be as beautiful as the design for our kitchen and first floor bath. I look forward to working with Monks in the next few weeks and I can't wait to see the finished product!

We have used Monks for so many home improvement project: a kitchen remodel, popcorn ceiling removal, exterior house painting, interior house painting ... I'm sure I'm forgetting some! We've always worked with Jason and he is fantastic. Professional, punctual, honest, fair ... The list goes on and on. I've gotten other quotes and they weren't cheaper. I've had other vendors and they were worse! I don't even bother getting my multiple quotes now because I know Monks will have a fair price AND they will get the job done the right way.

Earlier this year Monk's installed new construction Marvin windows and a patio door in our townhouse. The project went smoothly from start to finish. Raoul, our installer, did a wonderful job. We are very pleased that we chose Monk's to do this work. Recently, Monk's also remodeled two full bathrooms for us. The master bathroom update was a gut job. Our project manager, Bill Buckner, was a pleasure to work with throughout, but I especially appreciated his help and guidance as we encountered a few "surprises" once the existing walls and flooring were removed. All the crews Monk's sent to our home were very capable and respectful. Kudos to Marvin Rodriguez. We love our new bathrooms!

We've hired Monk's for multiple different projects around our home. Most recently we used them to install a basement window that was leaking. Jared was very helpful and responsive during the entire process. Highly recommend using them.

Can't say enough great things about our recent experience with Monks. Our home had many, many layers of paint/wallpaper from the last 5 decades. It was not a simple job and not a job a non-professional could attempt. They throughly explained the process and were able to start the job right away. We were planning to be away and they went out of their way to meet with us ahead of our leaving, and work in the home while we were away, finishing ahead of schedule when we returned. They completely removed the wallpaper they could, and where it was impossible, they removed any signs of wallpaper/textures. They took perfect care of the home and kept us updated. They completed the job ahead of schedule, left the home in clean condition, and it looks even better than I anticipated. Jon and Alberto were friendly, professional, and very patient with my last minute paint changes, questions, etc. We'd highly recommend their services.

From start to finish my experience with Monk's was amazing. I spoke to multiple contractors about my kitchen job and Monk's was the only one who would work with my vision and not try to upsell me on a total gut-reno when I didn't want or need one. Roberto was fantastic as a guide during the planning portion and then when the job started Joe Corticada was the most communicative and helpful project manager I have ever worked with. Literally texted me with every step and would answer my texts promptly. There were not many hiccups but when they did come up he always had a solution and didn't give the "oh man, I don't know, it's hard to fix" that always means more $$$. And his site manager Jose could not have been nicer or more skilled, there was literally nothing he couldn't fix. Monk's did all the electrical work, installing new lights and consolidating switches and moving outlets and their electrical subcontractor was prompt, efficient and reasonable. Additionally, I ended up finding an independent refinisher to give my existing cabinets a face-lift instead of gutting them and the guys at Monk's could not have been more accommodating, working with his schedule and mine.

Redid my kitchen and did a fantastic job! I worked with Nelson Santiago who was clear, communicative, and easy to partner with. He was very responsive, and his team was reliable! The work was done in a timely manner and the crew was able to assist with additional projects during the same time as the Kitchen Renovation. This is my first home, and I felt I was in great hands with Nelson and Monks.

This is not the first time I have had Monk's out to my home. I have had them paint ceilings, install shelving, and update a half bath. All of the times I have had Monk's out, from start to finish, they have been courteous, timely, and skilled. All three of these things have always been important as I have had other contractors, say they will be out to give me an estimate and never show up. Monk's has always been early and able. I have recommended Monk's to my neighbors who were in a time crunch for the work on their home and Monk's delivered for them as well. I hired monks to replace the flooring, replace all my windows and sliding doors. Monks is a certified Marvin installer which helped make my decision. Roberto is great to work with he has been persistent and always answered the questions I had. I am hiring them to now paint my entire house.

We had water damage from an AC leak and we wanted an accent wall in our bedroom. Roberto and the Monk’s team got us in the schedule in no time and they did the job in two days. Most importantly they left the house spotless. We would definitely use Monks again. Actually, it’s the third time they have done work for us.

We used Roberto and Tito to paint the exterior of our home. They were communicative and did a great job!

I am currently using Monk for my kitchen renovation. I have never done a renovation before so this scared me. That being said, I decided to go with Monk because everything is in house and they handle and schedule everything for you . I like this and I feel like they really hold your hand every step of the way . This brings me to my project manager Nelson Santiago ( if you can get him for your project def do!) He is always accessible and always returns a call and or text. He makes sure things gets done and if an issue arises he literally just takes care of.it. I had a ding in one of my cabinets that occurred during instillation and he pointed to it and said it’s already taken care of … I ordered you a new one . It’s for reasons like this that I would recommend this company . I would also like to mention Isaac . He is one of the installers and he is so hard working and kind and has even come to my house on a Saturday to make sure his work is done on time. Hope this helps anyone looking to do a home improvement.

After having many issues with my last painter. I decided to get an estimate from Monks Home Improvements. I met with Roberto at my condo in Verona. Roberto from the start was a gentleman, he was very patient with me and took his time to sit with me to go over the estimate on the same day of the appointment. He was able to answer all my questions and I immediately hired him for the job. His project manager Tito and his painting crew was lovely to work with. We’ve been working with Anina Peter of Monk’s Kitchen & Bath Design Studio for the past three months to design renovations of our kitchen, a pantry/office, and two bathrooms. Monk’s has a good selection of cabinets, countertops, tile, hardware and fixtures, all under one roof. Anina has been with us every step of the way, helping us select materials and designing and revising the design of the rooms. She has good taste, patience, and a lot of knowledge on the process. She also quickly developed a sense of what we like so that we’ve been comfortable working with her from the get go. I highly recommend working with Anina on kitchen and bath design.

I hired Monk’s to paint the interior of my house. To keep things simple, here are the problems I experienced: 1. They didn’t paint items above your eye level (i.e. you needed a ladder to see) such as the tops of the doors and the upper trims of the windows 2. They didn’t paint items below your eye level (i.e. you needed to crouch down to see) such as the bottoms of the doors and the lower trims of the windows 3. They painted on hardware such as strike plates, doorknobs, window handles, hinges, sliding doors’ upper/lower tracks, and more. It’s nearly impossible to get the paint off the window handles, so ultimately, I’ll have to purchase replacements. 4. There’s overspray on windows, glass, pipes, wires, etc. 5. There’s a lot of drips and uneven painting throughout the house I did a warranty claim, and the owner told me that they could fix everything in 3 days. They didn’t. They came the following week for 2 days and the painters told me they finished. They didn’t. Honestly, I think the crux of the issue is their business model. You might deal with a somewhat reasonable estimator such as Jon Clauson, but ultimately, he’s not managing the project. It seemed no one was really managing the project and ensuring quality. Monk’s seems to be a volume business and subcontracts the work out to people who aren’t full-time employees, so it’s not surprising they might not care about the end result. They certainly aren’t accountable for the end result. I believe there are 3 ways you hear about a home improvement contractor: referrals, advertisements, or a hybrid of both. I’d go with referrals where you’ve seen their work at a friend’s or family’s place. Also, obtain multiple bids and contact 2 references for the one you choose who vouch solidly for them. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend Monk’s.

I worked with Monk's to renovate my outdated, boring and blah kitchen. I went with them because I did not want the hassle of coordinating multiple contractors, ordering materials, etc. Denise K was the designer and she literally put together the kitchen of my dreams. Every morning I look at the finished product and cannot believe it's my kitchen. Jon C was the estimator who was great to get the project rolling. Chris K was the PM who was very responsive and was able to patiently handle a myriad of questions. Always upbeat and had great follow up. Jose and Jose were the 2 craftsmen that did the work and I was so impressed with both of them. They worked quickly and quietly and were so nice. Their attention to detail is bar none! I have some friends who had some reno projects going and the amount of issues and problems they've encountered are unbelievable. I would never trust anyone but Monk's to work on my future projects. Top notch in all aspects and they exceeded my expectations. My kitchen went from outdated boring and blah to one that takes my breath away!

Working with Ward was very easy and pleasant, and he took the time to clearly explain things. Teams came and worked quickly and efficiently, being sure to not to make a huge mess, and did their best to clean up afterwards. Payments could thankfully be made via credit or debit card electronically. Look forward to working with Monk’s again in the future.

Monk’s repaired and replaced damaged shower floor, tile, wood framing, shower pan, drain, insulation, and added water-proofing system and marble slabs for glass. John at Monk’s was super responsive always getting back to me in a timely manner. He also stayed on top of our project to see that it started in a very reasonable timeframe. All of the work took 4 days to complete and the quality of the work exceeded our expectations. The shower looks so much better than it did when it was first installed. I would highly recommend Monk’s for any home improvement job.

We've worked with John Mangiafreno at Monks twice for our kitchen and bathroom remodel. John and his team (Gido, Gio, Johnny) are extremely professionally, efficient, and talented. The job site is swept clean after every day and they take care of your house as of its their own. John is always accessible for any question or concern you might have. Throughout the project John is open and transparent when he sets realistic expectations, that he always exceeds.

Ward Malnak, with Monk, completed the installation of attic stairs for me. I was given a quote for the job and it was completed in a timely manner. The stairs were awkward to do because of the age of the home; 140 years old. They also repaired, at a separate time, the replacement of a wood panel on the rear of the house and reinforcing brackets for the porch steps. I would recommend this company and Ward to do any individual who wants quality and qualified workers who follow through from quotes, repairs to clean-up.

Absolute nightmare. Single worst contractor experience ever. Ordered new custom windows and french doors. Nothing came in as ordered. Installation was shoddy with paint left on the glass and hardware missing. Installation crew even painted plastic moldings which wer never supposed to be painted and improperly installed window moldings. Custom woodwork (moldings) looked like it was done by a 12 year old in woodshop. Months later we are still without proper hardware. Installation crew did not follow proper COVID protocols. I would not recommend them to my worst enemy.

Our home is small and about 70 years old and came with many design challenges. It was also very challenging finding the right contractor. From the moment we walked into Monk's showroom, we knew we were in the right place. Mike designed us a beautiful kitchen and bath and Bruce provided us with great recommendations for windows and doors. They were very professional, courteous, patient, had great solutions and ideas. Jason was very helpful estimating the labor and came up suggestions that guided us in the right direction. When it came time to start construction, Nelson the project manager came to our home and explained everything they were going to do. He went above and beyond managing our project. He said it would take 4 weeks and to our amazement, it only took four weeks. Nelson's crew are excellent craftsmen. They did a beautiful job. The punch list was minimal and resolved by the last day. There were no hidden costs. There were minimal extras and the costs were agreed upon upfront. I would recommend Monk's to anyone. My only regret is I do not have more work to give them.

Monks Home Improvement did an amazing job renovating and painting the main living area of our home. The project included knocking down two walls, installing a cove ceiling in the dining room, extending and re-staining hardwood floors, laying tile floor throughout the kitchen, laundry room and powder room, replacing multiple doorway and window casings, and refacing the fireplace. Monk's Bath Design Studio is "One Stop Shopping. We found that out when we had our first appointment with Jennifer Calavano at the design studio. She work with us putting flooring, tile, cabinets, sinks, countertops and mirror together. Kurt Becker came to measure and go over the construction. Kurt explained the proposal and the cost of labor and materials. Bill Buckner (Project Manager) came on a schedule day with Kurt to review the removal of the old and the installation of the new bathroom. The crew, Isaac, Jaime and John Carlos were fantastic. Their work outstanding. They would asked our preference for positioning the mosaic tile, cabinet, and selves. They cleaned up everyday. Bill Buckner stopped in several times to check on everything. We were happy to have met all these great people who showed they cared and wanted us to be happy with our new bathroom. We are and thankful we used MONK'S.

Getting an email from the owners with the assurance that they could be contacted directly if needed was the first pleasant surprise. The next was having a committed, personable and knowledgeable project manager. This position was critical in coordinating the parts of the job. The workers were punctual and clean . Every member of the Monk's team starting with my first call to them, portrayed caring about the actual job along with my level of satisfaction with their performance. Those things made all the difference to me. Also, having to pay by check was a plus, as the end of the job is the end of my payment. That was a great relief as it kept me mindful of making smart choices with my spending. These expert carpenters would please the most discerning client. They can create any vision you propose. For my interior design client, it was custom bunk beds, display shelves and a banquette. They are customer-service oriented and will make every detail perfect.

I had some serious doubt that anyone could meet my expectations when we decided to remodel our kitchen. We walked to Monk's showroom one afternoon and met Marien. Thought the entire process Marien remained patient as we met with her at least half a dozen times over a three month period before finalizing our design. Once we agreed upon a start date we were introduced to Bill Buckner (no not the Ex-Cub/Red Sox baseball player!) who ran the project. We started by installing a hardwood floor and Bryner along his crew did an excellent job and set the tone for the rest of the project. We were then introduced to Isaac who installed our cabinets and appliances...what a craftsman! We were now ready for the installation of our backsplash and I said to Bill "spend me your best" and he did. John did a fantastic job! And finally Eric came into to put the finishing touches on the project by painting our ceiling, walls and baseboard. We needed to replace the trim around the window above the sink and Eric was able to match the stain that we had on the previous trim. We could not have been more thrilled with the result of the entire project. We now have Monk's now working on a design for our laundry room.

I hired Monk's to do interior painting and wall paper removal in a stairwell (with a skylight) and an upstairs hallway. The crew was very professional and punctual. They estimated the job would take 3 days. They (2 men) started on a Friday at 7:45 am, worked all day and returned Saturday morning at 8:30am. In mid-afternoon they brought in additional help and were able to finish the job that day, thus eliminating the need to come back on Monday. They were neat and cleaned up everything each day. We are very pleased with the job.

Monks just painted the entire inside of our house from top to bottom - including taking down A LOT of wallpaper. The paint job was meticulous, it looks like a brand new house. At the start of the project Angelo arrived with his team led by Ronald, and I provided them with the color choices for each room. They took care of all of the paint purchasing and immediately got started on prepping the work area. The work was completed on time and with exceptional quality. Angelo contacted me several days after the job to check if I was still satisfied. Several months after I had my basement painted, I had some furniture moved in and there was a small area on the ceiling that got scuffed. I emailed Angelo to ask him what paint was used on my ceiling so I could purchase some and touch up the area that I damaged. He wrote me back immediately and Ronald brought some to my house later that day. He even offered to fix it for me. All in all, Monks is a top notch company that provides excellent service through all phases of their operation. They take great pride in their work and I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Angelo came out and gave me an estimate quickly and professionally. He had his team there the next week and they did a beautiful job and stayed on estimate. I highly recommend them!

We are so Happy with our Kitchen and family room remodel. Bill Buckner, overall GM, and the workers Jaime and Isaac, did a fantastic job and were very considerate of our needs both related to the project and our temporary living conditions. They left the work area accessible to us and cleaned up each night. I chose Monk's because they had a competitive quote and I really liked the fact that they provided one stop shopping for cabinetry, tiles, countertops, painting, installation, etc. It really made it much easier to let them handle everything. Will definitely use them for future jobs.

We had the Monks redo our master bathroom and they did an excellent job from early design, selection of materials, all the way through to completion. I'd like to call out Bill Buckner who was the overall GM, to the workers Jaime and Isaac who did a fantastic job. We had one minor concern which Bill addressed within a half hour on a Sunday afternoon, which was very impressive. Bill and his team listened to us and were very responsive to how we wanted the bathroom to come out, and made sure we were completely happy every step of the way. Definitely impressed with the Monks and will certainly use them for future renovations.

We received a recommendation from our neighbor and we are so happy we used Monk's to renovate our kitchen. They were very professional and provided great ideas and designs during our initial consult. Each team did a fabulous job starting with Brynar who added hardwood flooring throughout the kitchen area blending it into the other rooms, Romè did a fabulous job with cabinetry detail and installation of newly made double pantry and cabinet with Tv console. Last was Wilson and his crew who did an excellent job painting our existing brown cabinets white too. Our project manager, Bill Buckner was great throughout and made sure all was in order and done within the timeframe he provided us when we signed on board. Usually jobs like this tend to go over the scheduled timeframe and can lang...not the case. Plus they very meticulous in their clean up.

I had Monks redo my entire first floor... floors sanded and restained, kitchen cabinets painted, new countertops, new laundry room, new trim, all walls and trim painted, electrical work done. Bill Buckner headed up the whole project. He was a pleasure to work with and made sure every detail was perfect. Bryner, Wilson and Jose were excellent craftsmen. I am so pleased with how everything turned out and considering the amount of work done, how quickly it was completed. I will not hesitate to recommend them and work with them again. Thanks guys!!

I wasn't planning on a significant home repair job now, but a leak lead to a 'must do' plan. Monks was highly recommended by a colleague. They were highly professional, responsive, clean, and helpful. I kept putting off doing any work on my condo because I didn't want to deal with a labor intensive project. After to the "to do" list got too long I reached out to Monks for a quote and couldn't be happier. We Love Monk's! Monk's recently painted our dining room and we are so pleased, we are inviting them back to paint additional rooms and install a mirror and some miscellaneous hardware. Travis Marion and his crew do outstanding work from estimating the job through cleaning up when finished. The guys who worked at our house were polite, neat and efficient. I initially contacted Monk's to discuss refinishing cabinets in my kitchen. While I was fully down the road of renovating my whole kitchen, I was only going to have Monk's refinish the cabinets. After having multiple conversations with George, I ended up giving Monks the majority of the project. What initially started out as cabinets went to counter tops, hardware, and painting. From the head contractor Bill, to the designer Jennifer, and to the head painter Ziggy, it was a pleasure working with this company. Besides the actual work that was done, the one thing that stood out in my mind was how clean everyone worked. Coming home to a renovation project, to which work was accomplished in a timely manner, while seeing the work area spotless, is a great feeling. All in all, the project success and certainly money well spent.

Monk replaced kitchen countertop and backsplash -- excellent job. Bill and his crew did great work both in the demolition, repair, installing the new backsplash tiles, and grout. They even did a great job in the clean up!!! When we do our bathroom update, we've hire Monk again.

Bill Buckner led a crew that delivered more than they promised. I came home to find the tile work in my bathroom was finished earlier than expected and I can't tell you how great your people were. Christian led the work with two other men whose names I'm embarrassed to admit I don't remember. They were all polite, neat, on-time and hard-working. Monk's is lucky to have great staff like these men. They went above and beyond my expectations and even took the initiative to install a new multi-nozzle shower system that I planned to install myself once they finished. Thank you!

Monk's turned our bathroom from barely functional into a beautiful, usable space. Along the way extra repairs due to termite damage and previous homeowners' DIY were quickly repaired. Bill coordinated our project even while we were on vacation explaining and keeping us updated. When an issue came up he was available to stop by and problem solve. Mario and Romey worked tirelessly. They put in long days and did high quality work. The bathroom is wheelchair accessible. It is easy for our disable family members to use. This was by far the most pleasant remodeling project I have ever had done. Monk's arrived on time and worked continuously on our home. I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing a home improvement project done.

Our new kitchen is beautiful! Melissa helped us through the design and Bill and his boys made it happen, offering us solutions that fit our family's needs. They always left our home cleaner than when they got there and finished before they projected that they would. Every inspection and trade was scheduled and monitored by Bill; we never had to take off work. I have already recommended Monks to others, and will continue to do so. Kurt Becker and the crew from Monk's did a great job installing windows at our house. The process from Quote to Install was very satisfactory. The labor quote was very competitive and included a larger crew than other quotes I received! The project was delayed with early spring rains, but Kurt kept us informed of the delays and the expected install timing. Once the date arrived, the crew worked professionally and cleanly, with the installation going very smoothly. We are completely happy with the job Monk's did and have already started assessing with Kurt the next jobs we will be hiring Monk's for. Highly Recommended!!!

Monks Home Improvements is fantastic. I was preparing a house to put on the market. Monks responded very promptly to my first call and an estimator was at my house within days! They were able to meet my timeline and even started the project earlier than originally discussed. My Project Manager, Travis Marion is great. He fully understood what needed to be done in the house and even gave great suggestions. I had a lot of work done, interior, exterior painting, carpentry work and hardwood floor refurbishing.
